Tinanong ko po kase kay mama kung papayagan na niya akong mag-aral ng college next school year and nag agree naman po siya.Then, after that sinabi ko na AB in POLITICAL SCIENCE ang gusto kong kurso. I explained it to her kung ano ang meaning ng political science. Tapos tinanong niya kung kaya ko ba yun at kung matalino daw ba ako. I doubt myself after our conversation. Hindi naman ako bobo at hindi rin naman ako matalino.Nung senior high school ako naging leader pa nga ako sa practical research namin at naisalba ko yung grupo kong iba without their cooperation sa research namin. Nung grade 12 po ako sa 1st semester namin 88 po ang average ko. Please po sana mabigyan mo ako ng advice.
Hi, Karen! I just wanna say na, it's your choice to make and not anyone else's. Kahit pa makita ka ng iba na hindi ka smart, even if your own mom, if you want it, then don't hesitate to go for it. Kung ano ang isinisigaw ng puso mo, sundin mo dahil kahit mahirap, kapag gusto mo, magagawa mo at mahihirapan kang sukuan. Afterall, Political Science is for the brave ones. Kung hindi ka matapang, hindi ka tatagal. Kung hindi ka rin talaga nag-iisip, ewan ko na lang. You know yourself more than anyone else. Kung alam mong kaya mo, go! :)

But buuuuuut don't get me wrong, this is just for me :) It's still depends on you! :)

Yes, actually any course could be a pre-law course however, polsci has law subjects kaya may edge siya :) and it's true na back to zero as law school! every law students I encounter, lagi yan sinasabi sakin but if you really want it then go for it! :)

Hello, Dominic! LegMa and Polsci are somehow interconnected. Parang magpinsan kumbaga. However, legma is more on the legality while polsci is more focused on the politics and governance of a state/city-state. Magkaiba ng focus pero both may edge sa law dahil within these mentioned undergrad courses, bukod sa law subjects, mas gumagamit ng Socratic method on recits and papers. :) I'm not a LegMa student to know what's going on with their program. Nevertheless, as a PolSci student, you'll get to know more about the affairs of a states, history, several systems, ideologies, etc. that always remain relevant up to this day. haha idk if nasagot ko siya clearly but I hope this helps! :) Good luck! i'm currently in a situation po wherein i have to pick between bs psych and ab pol sci from different universities as my course po kasi. i prefer pol sci po talaga kaso yung school na nag-ooffer ng bs psych is mas mataas yung prestige. sa tingin mo po, ano dapat kong piliin? tysm po!

Anyway, I do believe that it really depends on the person and not on the course. Same goes to school. Well. If your preference is Political Science as your pre-law, and you are totally interested about the discipline, then go for it. The prestige doesn't really matter if it doesn't fit your desire. But buuuuuut don't get me wrong, this is just for me :) It's still depends on you! :)

Mam i hope u can answer this, alam ko po pwede naman i-google pero gusto ko po manggaling mismo sa polsci student kaya sana po mapansin nyo po ako. Ano pong pinagkaina ng AB Polsci sa BS Polsci? ano pong mas mahirap at mas maraming math? tho i know lahat naman po ng course mahirap but in my case kelangan ko po kasi mag working student kaya ayun. Sorry for the late response, omg! But here, I found something about the comparison between AB and BS. polisci.osu.edu/undergraduate/bs-political-science :) Based on that, mas maraming Math ang BS. AB kasi is on economics and MMW lang. :)

Yes, actually any course could be a pre-law course however, polsci has law subjects kaya may edge siya :) and it's true na back to zero as law school! every law students I encounter, lagi yan sinasabi sakin but if you really want it then go for it! :)

Hello, Dominic! LegMa and Polsci are somehow interconnected. Parang magpinsan kumbaga. However, legma is more on the legality while polsci is more focused on the politics and governance of a state/city-state. Magkaiba ng focus pero both may edge sa law dahil within these mentioned undergrad courses, bukod sa law subjects, mas gumagamit ng Socratic method on recits and papers. :) I'm not a LegMa student to know what's going on with their program. Nevertheless, as a PolSci student, you'll get to know more about the affairs of a states, history, several systems, ideologies, etc. that always remain relevant up to this day. haha idk if nasagot ko siya clearly but I hope this helps! :) Good luck! Hello, Volkhia. Noong first year ako sa Polsci sa Letran, I just visited my portal and 40k ang tuition ko per sem :) It depends on the number of units naman. It ranges from 30k to 50k 'yung tuition sa program namin. I hope this helped. 😬 Waived ang entrance exam ngayon sa Letran! :)
