Hello po Ate Trisha! I'm currently going to partake an aptitude test for AB PolSci even though I'm a STEM student po XD
I'm quite worried po na baka babagsak ako (lmao) dahil I have such little knowledge in recent issues of politics and of the government because from what I have encountered with the university I wanted to enter, they're really testing the examinees in current situations such as, involving media literary in this age and that really steps up my expectation of difficulty for the aptitude test. Despite that, I'm really willing to enter this course po cuz engineering is totally not my calling XD. Totally inspired po for what I would encounter in the journey for Polsci! Praying and having faith to God that I may pass the upcoming test hehe.

Gaya ng sinabi niya, political science is worth it? Yes. Kasi soon kaya mo ipagtanggol ang sarili mo because of pre-law at maninindigan ka sa bawat salitang sinasabi mo. Aside from that studying of political science is the study of how to run a government.
Political Science here since baych 2019-2023.

Starting na SY and d pa akp naka Enroll😂 pinagpipilian ko Archi ba or PolSci but after I've watched this I'm motivated ngay to enroll PolSci sa UC baguio huhu. But graduated Stem, is that okay?😂
at first wla gana mag PolSci 😂😂, pero later on na find out ko na npaka challenging magiging Pol-Sci student, npka challenging mag memorize Bill of Rights 😂😂, etc .. Pol-Sci grad din ako way back 2014 sa Basilan.
Hahahaha yay! It was indeed challenging. But it's fun naman po all throughout, right? Hahaha, now that I am 2 months away from graduation hahaha :)

haha, the best lesson ko nung nag thesis ako ay hndi sa mismong topic ko kundi sa mga taong bayan 😂😂 .. dun ko npatunayan na ang dami or halos lahat ang galing at lakas mag reklamo sa mga suliranin sa bayan pero kpag ka binigyan mo ng Papel at Ballpen pra patunayan or i elaborate reklamo nla .. wala na, umaatras na sila, haha ..

Ate kinuha kopo kase ngayong school year is TVL H.E kase po dipa po ako dati sure sa humss baka po mahirapan pero nung panood koto na ituloy yung pangarap kong maging abogado pwede po ba yun na kumuha ng polsci as pre-law sa college?? Kahit tvl nakuha ko nung senior???
Hi hindi ako yung tinatanong mo pero I'll just answer 😅.... You can take political science but you have to take additional classes so that you can catch up on the required subject sa polsci
Hi! You can actually pursue polsci. I am not sure kung may itetake ka pang ibang classes to catch up because I have blockmates who came from different strands but wala namang tinake na additional classes :)

May i know what's the difference of Political Science and Public ad? What course do you suggest for aspiring public servant/Politician?
Hi! I'll get back to you when I already have an answer to that! Hehe, I'll take my pubad pa lang this coming school year. I really can't tell what is the biggest difference between the two. They have similarities, I must say! But I guess, polsci is leaning on the philosophical side of a city state :)
I asked my professor who masters pub ad, he told me that kapag pub ad, it has human resource unlike polsci, it's more on theories and philosophies :)
It's true!!The K-drama Law School was the reason why I wanted to pursue Law related courses only. My parents wanted me to be a CPA Lawyer for sake of the title. They even forced me to write an application while they were beside me telling me what to say and I was crying so badly because they were choosing the course they wanted. Fortunately, the University didn't reply and I applied to a sibling University and they know I did,they just don't know what course I applied in and I only had accountancy as second choice and Political Science as first and lookie here!!Im officially admitted in Philipines Mindanao State University as an AB Political Science Student. 😭🎉
Ps. My father who was strongly against in my choice said in bisaya Language (while I was watching) "That's correct, Political Science is a great Pre Law Course dai"

Hi, Kenz! Possible jobs... hmm... professor, political consultant, legislative analyst, public policy analyst, political commentator, state legislator. You could basically take the career path in the government, the academe, and the research field! There are lots of great job opportunities for a Polsci student, I must say! :)

Hello! I might be too late to reply but as a sister of a PolSci Grad, outside of Government jobs, it is pretty hard to apply for other industries. I highly suggest that you consider what you really want while taking the course, because HUMSS degrees in general don't work as well without some creative thinking and planning.
Before I was accepted for Psych, I was planning on pursuing a position in DILG before heading to law (because I wanna handle cases relating to interior governance laws). But that's just an example, if you're in the program talk to your fellow schoolmates and branch out. Because by the end of the day, info for government jobs aren't as easily found compared to other fields and you would need connections for it.
