Hi! What about latency? Is it like 5ms Rode Wireless Go II or better? I'm looking to it to connect it to my Sony A6400 as mic for lavalier purposes (external lavalier mic connected to Saramonic transmitter).
Just got the b1 yesterday... very impressed with the packaging... I wonder using only 1 transmitter, should I set the receiver in stereo (default) or mono?
Great video and review. I’d stick with the lav. You can put the dead cat on for wind reduction. More importantly, the smaller lav mic is much less distracting when watching the video when compared to the transmitter being clipped onto the subject.
Great review. With the wind probably should use the dead cat? What do you think? Liked the different settings you tried it in. I have the Saramonic Blink 500, ah las now there is a pro verision.
Definitely using the dead cat attachment from now on! Love the Blink 500 still for the smartphone + gimbal combo! thanks for sharing your time with me! Happy holidays!
Thanks! This great review made me order this today. I bought it to be able to record conversations between my soon 5-yearold and myself while filming on a tripod. Crossing my fingers I will understand how to use it.
Hey EMT, would these pair well directly into a speaker like the Bose S1 with the receiver connected for presentations less than 30 feet away? I'd appreciate your thought.
Thanks for sharing your review. Did you turn down the camera's levels? This would not be acceptable for professional applications with that amount of room noise.
Hi, thanks for a great video. I have a question regarding outdoor idé with this saramonic pro version. I do a lot off kayaking around the archeapelago of Stockholm, which means I also get my share of bad rainy weather. Do you know of its IP klass? Will it take bits of rainy? All the best and keep it Up!
Great Review. Both the internal mic and the included Lav performed well with the internal maybe being a little broader in fidelity, but for the inconspicuous nature of the lav well outweighs the fidelity in terms of pro look. The R camera sounded just like what it is, a built in camera mic and only acceptable to this pro as a ENG situation only.
So the receiver has audio monitoring, that’s cool. If I wanted to hear how it sounded from the camera (wirelessly) I could flip things around by plugging the (extra) transmitter into the camera’s headphone jack, and the receiver is dual channel right? But then I’d probably have layered audio. I always think of confusing things. Some people use the Rode Wireless go backwards like that as a way to monitor the audio from the camera. I seen this already has a way to monitor, although not exactly from the camera - this is the best all in one wireless solution I’ve seen yet.
Hey EMT buddy! Thanks for another good video! I was wondering if you had considered making either a video or would care to share your thought about the new ban on DJI products in the US?
I’m getting a static beneath the audio recording with the blink 500 pro and my iPhone 8. I am using the Saramonic stereo lightning adapter. Do you think that might be due to a failing lighting port on my iPhone or the natural static that these mics produce?
Thanks for this review! Do you know if the Blink500pro works with ios units with lightning cable? I cannot make it work with my iphone 11 pro (ios 14.5.1), Saramonic lightning cable. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
are these compatible with the Panasonic Lumix g7? because i had the rode wireless go 2 but it wasn't compatible it had so much buzzing and interference noise, come to find out the wireless go isn't compatible with older cameras, which rode never advertised, I feel like rode pays all their reviewers and lie about it, i hope the saramonic is the complete opposite. looking for this to be the replacement.
I thought I was on crazy pills. You are the only one to bring this up, and it's the most glaringly obvious in-your-face concern with these little units. I thought the noise floor was well contained as long as you turned back the camera's levels. Now I'm more confused than ever, and it's not even being addressed. Hopefully the OP can chime in here. Pretty disappointing.
Agree! Noise floor on our company's Nikon D750 is an issue. Not so much on my own EOS R, though. Seems like the latest mirrorless cams are getting better with on-board audio. It would also be nice to hear some samples recorded through an external mixer/pre-amp like Saramonic's own PAX-1.
Damn! I wouldn't buy this unless they came out with the lighting adapter receiver. Why wouldn't they keep that going? The receiver clipped onto the phone like that looks wack! :(
Totally impressed by the Saramonic Blink 500 Pro! What kind of content would you record with the Saramonic Blink 500 Pro? Thanks for watching!
soon...

This has got to be the best option on the market bar none! great review thx, I just pulled the trigger on the B2 kit :)
Great video 👌 I had the doubt between these or the rode.
can we add another transmitter in the future??
Just got the b1 yesterday... very impressed with the packaging...

Terrific review and this is definitely a purchase for me.
Glad you enjoyed it! Been loving it during my recent trip! I appreciate your time! Happy holidays! 🤘🏼

Agree! Hehe the lights can definitely be distracting! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and sharing your time! Happy holidays! 🤘🏼
Wishing you the best brother!
I've been going back n forth with this and the rode and I think I'll go with this one. Thanks again

Excellent review!! this is a wonderful Solution for my Studio!!!

Can this system be used with mixer where you have loudspeaker and digital sound, or is it meant for digital only???

May I know what audio level you use in the camera setting?

which one would you like to buy rode wireless go or blink 500 pro ?
Really impressed with the quality even from 50 feet away while wearing a mask
Loving it! Glad you enjoyed the video! Miss you bro! 🤘🏼
What’s the setting for volume when you are outside using the built in mic / and volume setting for lavalier ? Thank you!!
Great review on the saramonic mic.
Hi, I have Sony A5100 is built in camera mic. Can I use Saramonic Blink 500 Pro for my A5100. Thanks
Благодарю. Очень приятно и интересно. А можно обзор, где и как подключать и как настраивать?
Yo bro! How did you make it work with the iphone adapter? Im struggling big time with my Blink 500 pro B2

I wonder how good this could record music instruments out in the field for videos, etc. Say, an acoustic guitar or something similar!
happy new years

Stop using the iPhone 8 lol
Good information....but the music during the unboxing was so annoying I almost shut it off. Your actual review was very good.
Can the receiver USB be plugged into the computer and show up as a soundcard/input?
We need the setting for sarmonic pro and camera to get the nice voice in your video
Thanks for this review! Do you know if the Blink500pro works with ios units with lightning cable? I cannot make it work with my iphone 11 pro (ios 14.5.1), Saramonic lightning cable. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for this video! Choosing this over rode :)

Love your lamp.
Can you connect the receiver to any other saramonic transmitter?
As it turns out it’s only compatible with the “PRO” versions. That’s the one thing I wish it did.
Can we use in PA system
It is very noisy in your room than outside!! What's going on exactly? Sounds like a deal breaker for me!

@@idahofallsmagazine3691 Probably everyone else is on bills! There is so much noise
every reviewer uses it straight in to camera. Camera pre amps suck. Would love to hear it first put in a decent audio recorder from zoom or tascam

I have firmwire 1.1.7 on my Saramonic blink 500 pro b2, does anyone know how to upgrade? Is there a Upgrade?
Thank You!!

Definitely recommend the Blink 500 standard then! Still a fantastic mic/gimbal solution! Thanks for sharing your thoughts! 🤘🏼
@@EMTFILMS yes! I have that one but was debating on the PRO because of not having the phone adapter. Keep ip the good work bro!
Don't Blink!
