Something else to keep in mind if it helps, key art is often referred to the art meant to sell the game, either to interior teams as they discuss their initial vision for the look of the game, or to the player base. Cover art fits pretty neatly in that umbrella term, but you can often use them interchangeably in regards to the cover art itself.
This is really one of the coolest art videos I've ever watched, was really enjoyable listening to your experience and ideology behind design decisions!
This just reminds me of how far I still need to go. I still struggle with poses and getting the right proportions down for people, but videos like this always help out even if I know I won't be nearly to that level for a long time. Stay awesome Gamma.
Today I found your channel and I want to say thank you! Your tutorials are on point and the kind I was looking for! I can see that you put a lot of effort in your channels! Subscribed and hope a lot more will do! :D
Brother, I watch your videos and admire. How do you manage to explain everything and at the same time stir up interest. I would really like to see how you draw the texture of snow.

Well thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
From what I recall, it's not unlike book covers. The front needs to catch your eye, hint at the story but not give anything away.
