God bless all who serve our country! Never forget those that gave all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Spec 4 Jimmy Flynt and Capt Charles Watters 173rd Airborne Dak to Nov, 1967
My dad was a Sky Soldier, 173rd Airborne 1965-66. Luckily he made it home. Actually, he was extremely lucky. My mom's brother, uncle Jack to me, 1st Infantry (the big red one), was in Nam the same time as dad. Unfortunately, uncle Jack was KIA. My mom's family requested that my dad escort Jack's body home. The Army granted dad two weeks leave to do so. While my dad was home during those two weeks, his whole platoon was killed in an ambush. Though i never got to meet uncle Jack, i wasn't born until '73, he will forever be my hero. Inadvertently through his death, he saved my dad's life. Thank you uncle Jack, i will forever be grateful to you and to every U.S. soldier who gave all, RIP.
Billy Ray Cyrus performed this at the funeral of Corey Comperatore, the retired fireman who was tragically killed in Butler, PA July 13th. A fitting tribute to this patriot. We salute you, sir.

Sorry about your brother. So thankful him and his fellows soldiers fought so bravely to bring peace and keep our country free. Me and my family are forever indebted. 🇺🇸
I’m so sorry. Such horrible pain losing a sibling. We are a family of 9 kids and we lost our middle brother. It hurts so bad. We were the closet family I knew of. We are no longer close after he passed away. His death broke all of us apart. We are from a long line of military since the Rev War to win this country. God bless your brother and all our military.

Half of this country is so unpatriotic it makes me sick. If we don't take back the country in this upcoming presidential election we are finished as the country we all knew. @@Quincy_Morris The US was already quietly supporting the war by sending arms to Britain without a payment agreement in the winter of 1940 and in July 1941 Marines were sent to Iceland to relieve a British garrison there as well as providing naval escorts to British ships n open waters.. The US then also placed sanctions on Japan cutting off their oil supply along with the Dutch and the British in Indochina. This followed by the American-controlled Philippines having the potential to block shipping routes from southeast Asia to Japan caused Tokyo to decide to a mount pre-emptive attack against both the Philippines and the American fleet at Pearl Harbour at the same time. This of course infuriated the US and they entered the war in their fullest capacity in 1941.

April 29, 2023 I was on the "BLUE RIDGE HONOR FLIGHT" out of Asheville, NC. We hit DC, and all of the war memorials. Arlington was good, but being a Vietnam vet, the WALL was great. This country owes EVERYTHING to our vets! God bless them and their families. The sacrifices are unmentionable! It is time that we take care of them without thought and without price as they did in all of their selfless acts!
I agree and these damn young fucks that think it's "cool" and "hip" to disrespect the nation and all that represent it whether person, flag or anthem, truly are FUBAR....No pledge in the classroom, no respect for vets...The reason they spit on vets and hate the anthem?? Truth is they know they cannot measure up and they hate them not for being a vet but for showing them up...Before they were even born these men and women were better citizens and human beings then they are or will ever be....So shop at your local starbucks and order something that makes you feel worldly but remember that whenever you raise your nose from that screen, these vets will be better than you ever will be...They get a discount on coffee and fast food, YOU get to live your life without fear, without oppression and without limitations on what you can achieve only set by your actions...You squeamish little pissants that disrespect our vets are the reason we need an army, creatures like you live abroad and wish us, INCLUDING YOU, harm, and those vets and future vets will have protected you from it....Happy tweeting, kiddos! You wanna spit somewhere? Do it directly up and wait a moment!

If this song doesn’t move you...You’re a coldhearted bastard. In all our history as a country I have never seen or heard of such strong distaste and dislike for our president and Congress. Will there be a war? Another Civil War?

RANDAL, LEWIS. CRABTREE " Branch of Service {Army} - Casualty of Vietnam War Year 1969. I dedicate this song to him. And so many other's who fought and died. For America. And American Freedom. Not much older than 19 & 20 year's old. This is an amazing Patriotic song. One of my favorite ones of all... GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!

After all these years since first hearing it. It still makes my chest swell with pride, and my eyes tear up.
Everytime I nhear this song I am reminded that sometimes heroes came home, but they were never the same. War is Hell Truth 100% To all that served & fought so we could be free. Thank You from the bo%om of my he@rt.
❤
My great grand father served in the marines R.I.P💔 great grand father
I'll miss you so much😭😭😭😭
This song is so special, I cry every time that I listen to it.. Thank you, Billy Ray for recording this song...
I am an old vet, and I liked this song when it first came out, I will be listening to it till I die. I got out of the army 43 years ago. It is a great true song.
This song makes me cry 😭. I lost my Grandfather last year. He served in WW2 and defeated two bouts of cancer from serving on the ships.
How blessed you were to have him, I'll bet. One from "The Greatest Generation!" They just don't make them like that any more. I truly am sorry for your loss.
Kids today should be listening to this.
Yes!! My daughter, who is now an adult, has always been taught how our freedom isn't free.
As a 13 year old who listens to this i say we do i have 5 uncles who are veterans
an adults
Kids have no respect for the olders nowadays. Bring back basic training as soon as ya hit 18
@@whitewolfjr4781 respect is earned not given.
My Grandfather went to war, was mustard gassed and died in his 40's. It was a terrible death being unable to breathe, my Mother told me. I never got to meet him as he passed before I was born. He gave all, and his family paid a high price for the freedoms they r now trying to take away!

Yes, thank you to those families who lost a father, a husband, a son or daughter fighting against oppression and for democracy. Thank you to those who are fighting now and those who fought for my freedom.
July 27, 1995 - Billy Ray Cyrus performs "Some Gave All" at the dedication of the Korean War Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. Twenty years ago today!
BILLY RAY WASN'T TAKEN SERIOUSLY BACK IN THE DAY ... BUT WHEN I HEARD HIM SING THIS SONG... I KNEW HE HAD A LOVE FOR OUR SOLIDERS AND HIS COUNTRY .... SOME GAVE ALL...... # NEVER FORGET 👈.....🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I remember my uncle Mike on this day and the wonderful man he is and was. I love my country and Gods country and I want the country back we once knew and loved .
I am a Canadian but i RESPECT this song. Be proud of your country, hold respect for those that made you free. Stand and salute the national anthem. These men , boys, and women fought and gave their lives paying the ultimate price for your freedom. GOD BLESS THEM ALL!!!!
Also Canadian and so very grateful to the military on both sides of the border. We all must remember and respect that”Freedom is not Free.” There is a price to be paid and these soldiers stepped up and did it for all of us.

Thank you, Kim. You speak as if you know how badly Vets have been treated.
2 of my uncle's stormed the beaches of Normandy
I say the veterans deserve the benefits and housing not the f**king illegal immigrants ILLEGALLY coming into our country taking the jobs, housing, and benefits that our veterans deserve more than them
For my DADDY HE GAVE ALL THANK YOU DADDY RIP DONALD RAY SANDERS SR.

This is good stuff. A classic. Makes me tear up every time I hear it, especially thinking how far this nation has fallen from the “greatest generation.” We mustn’t ever let their sacrifices be in vain.
My second dad was a Sgt. General in WWII and he served his country proudly back then and he fell December 15th 2006 and today is his birthday and he would be turning 100 years old if he was still here with me but that's why I love this song for him
