THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOUUU!!!!! OMG....my uncle died this year and I have to take care of the yard now. I bought this and now I see where I went wrong with the bar and chain...I appreciate this video so much, thank you!!!
I have used the Skil 40v mower and string trimmer and have been impressed with the quality of both items. I am debating whether to get this Skil or a Toro 60, as I have other Toro 60vs and think they are great. But I do like the collapsible pole on the Skil as well as being able to break it down into 2 parts easily. Thank you for your videos.
I love my - 80-volt - 5-ah battery - 10" Bar - 6 ft / 8ft foot Kobalt Pole Saw. No cable. I’m using an Oregon Bar and Chain. I have been using it for more than 3 years now and love it. It works great on my southeast Louisiana farm clearing property that a hurricane went through and trashed all the trees in the woods of our 20-acre farm. I carry it all over our woods and the battery lasts a long time. Today I'll be cutting a 6-inch limb off of a tree out front. I also have (2) 80-volt 5-ah batteries 18" chain saws they are awesome.
Thanks for making this video. 👍 Your videos keep coming up in my searches for specific tool reviews, because we seem to have the same taste in tools - Milwaukee, Bosch, Skil, etc.
@@TeamDIYNow Yeah, Milwaukee is all about power, Bosch is more refined, and Skil has top tier design, mid tier performance, for a budget tier price. Can't go wrong with any of them, especially using the battery discount trick at Home Depot, or picking up heavily discounted Bosch from Lowe's and Amazon.
The 2.5ah has a pretty good runtime when using this pole saw. When I used it a few months ago, I made probably 20 cuts on 3-4 inch branches and it was still going strong.
@@OriginalGacole Absolutely, it cuts very well. As shown in the demo, it cuts that easily every time. Compared to some of the 18v pole saw I have used in the past, this Skil 40v works a lot better.
Currently on sale! amzn.to/3T3WTHZ
You explained everything better than SKIL's own video. Thanks!
Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching!

Glad you liked the video! The pole collapsing was something that I like as well. It's nice to break it down for storage when not in use.

@@k1_w3please explain the battery discount at HD. Thanks
@@MrBearbait75 I think YT is censoring my explanation. Just Google "Home Depot battery hack".

How long does the 40volt battery last?
The 2.5ah has a pretty good runtime when using this pole saw. When I used it a few months ago, I made probably 20 cuts on 3-4 inch branches and it was still going strong.
@@TeamDIYNow does it cut easy?
