Can we take a moment to recognize the amount of love they put into these podcasts. The sfx, sound bites, the cuts. There so much editing magic that we just don’t see. Every one of these has been an experience leaving me wanting to listen to more.

I listened to the first episode back to back and then some just in awe of the sonic presentation. The comical, witty genius of everyone involved is beautiful, and the editing is incredible + masterfully done! P.E.A.C.E 🖖🏾

I said the same to my family years ago. The real children of the nation. Grew up in the basement & still shined from down there. Other households would see the shine even as we were kicked back down the basement steps every time. We’re about sunshine. Not made for the basement.

I wish there was a place and space to have healthy debate and dialogue about what's here. Often times when people have a different perspective, folks are quick to shut folks it down, instead of jostle in order to build. There's a matter of fact(ness) which I appreciate because you all are incredibly aware, conscious and on point. And, there's some debatable points.

They are scared. The powers that be do not wish for us to talk... conversate. If all folk felt that the values of one were the same as those of another, a conversation is only the beginning - but so powerful!

Human nature i.e., jealousy, lies, sexual deviance, misunderstanding, etc and its series of predictable reactions are the reasons why the barter system can’t work on a macro-scale. It’s so frustrating to be this close to establishing some form of utopia and still be just a few words away from anarchy, no pun intended

I appreciate the history but the Brother's history of Africatown is a little off. The ship called The Clotilda came into the Alabama Gulf Coast in 1860. It wasn't the last group of enslaved Africans. They were the last known captives brought here from Africa. The so-called slave trade ended in 1807. Slavery did became illegal until 1865 with the 13th amendment. That group of people were emancipated with others throughout the former territories relying on captive labor. Of course, convict leasing became another way of doing it for decades more.

I voted republican in the primary to try to get the first female president. Bust-o-Rama! But,… I did notice that most of the republican ticket was unopposed. They say that we can change the way things are with our vote but,… we can only change the things that voting “allows” us to change. The Democratic ticket is a friggin’ boxing match. The Republican ticket is a cotillion.
