- Weld Racing RTS Wheels for the Toyota Supra Cost and Fitment
So what is the cost to run the Weld Racing RT-S S71 Drag wheel Package on a Toyota Supra and correct fitment? In this video I will break down the cost of this street drag wheel setup, Supra fitment specs, modification required and some accessories to consider. The Weld RTS wheel package looks great on a Supra and you can't ask for a better setup for straight line traction.
This wheel setup has become very popular with the Supra community and it's no surprise since the 15" wheel with huge 28" tall tires out back just looks so good on the wide hips of a Toyota supra.

NA Brakes would need to be sourced new unless you want to spend the money on new/re-manufactured ones.

thanks my man. Im in australia so everything costs a lot more, but it wont stop me from getting a Supra.
Got my sub, picking up my MK4 TT White Targa next month! It's running the same rear setup with Evo8 brakes... but with stock wheels/tires up front. I'll definitely be getting the matching fronts and a set of the PHR hub ring. Make it look a ton cleaner. Nice setup bud!
Bro make a video about side skirts and rear diffuser , i will install mine next week, so it will be very helpfull:) Thanks
Appreciate the info!!!
Thank you for this informative video. Do you have a video on how you feel about these wheels? Vs just a Regular non Drag set up? Like how's the ride? Soft? Bouncy, firm, etc.
Does that front 18X9 rim fit flush, poke, or does it set in some? I want the set up you have in the front but am looking for a nice even/flush fitment.
Im thinking of getting a 1993 supra 2jz Ge next year.
Go for it, Supras are great cars and the GE engines will last forever.
Slacking on these vids man we need cold starts and full boost pulls where they at😔
Do people really want to see that? 🤔
Tuner Test Drive yes!!
Hi, what studs did you use for the front? I have ARP 100-7715 for the back, but can they also be used for the front?
Should be able to use regular conical seat lugs for the front.
she's Goddess
If it says PHR or WELD on it, it cost a chunk lol
Ain't that the truth 🤑
What video editor are you using?
I've been using Sony Vegas 15
Can i use 295 / 55 / 15 rears?
Do you know if you can use sc300 rear brake calipers on the mkiv Supra to fit 15in wheels?
Dam these prices were cheap 3 years ago. Now the price for each set can’t purchase 1 single wheel Some shit
Oh really? I haven’t checked pricing in years. This setup was very reasonable years ago.
If I got some weld 17×10 for the rear of a mk4 and 17x9 for the front they wouldn't stick out past the fenders would they , laws here in australia are bullshit
Wow nice clean car 👌
how is this current setup? any issues with hard launches on the rears? I am on the fence on the 275/60 15s
And what country are you in?
I'm in the US.
So you said its 26 inches for the stock rear tire, what is the front size..??
if you roll your fenders to do the drag radials can you ever go back to the normal tires and rims?? for rain??????
Yes you can. You are rolling the small lip that protrudes into the wheel well. This lets you fit more tire under the fenders without rubbing.
Do you have a spacer in the back?
How much fender did you have to cut for the rears?
Do these wheels fit the G35 as well? and the same pcd as above. 114.3
They should, you’ll have to check what offsets you would need.
The biggest price you pay with this setup is not being able to drive the car when you think it might rain. My car sits alot more then I would like it to.
Yea man, this setup is not rain friendly. Though I've got caught in rain a few times at city speeds and they weren't as scary as people make them out to be. 60-70 on the highway would be a whole different story though.

I got stuck in a down poor with r888 on my old supra what a nightmare did 20 miles an hour the whole way home. I just avoid potential rainy days now.
where do you live? the Amazon? lol
Pan S.
Florida
so thats a yes then lol.
Hi Mike did you sell the volk wheels?
For the ridox widebody btw
🔥 thank you
I am about to get the same wheels but I may go with the all polish one 🔥🔥🔥🙌🏽🙌🏽
Can't go wrong with them, they look so good
What drag wheels are suitable for the supra and what size ?
No idea on that one man. I know people have run 12in-13 in wide in the rear with ridox kits
You got contacts that are running these on first gen is300s?
I do not, I’m sure if you contact realstreet or some other distributor they can get you setup with the correct sizes.
Mike did you have to roll the rear fenders for them to work
I didn't cut mine(just can't cut into my Supra like that), I had to do a stiffer suspension to keep the car from squatting so much it hit the tires. I still think I rub on a hard pulls
Those wheels are more expensive now? i check on real street and they are more expensive!
I haven’t looked but I wouldn’t doubt it. Just how things go.
@@TunerTestDrive looks like they’re about $1000 more now for the set
Is there any need to change rear calipers?
If you have the original rear TT calipers you will. Most just swap to an NA caliper, which is what I did.
@@TunerTestDrive did it cause any braking issues...? Can you reply me fast..
@@ANANDKbruce shouldn't be a issue. The TT fronts are fairly large and provide most of the brake force. If you are doing some crazy build then you probably should be looking at aftermarket upgrades for both fronts and rears.
@@TunerTestDrive thanks
@@TunerTestDrive can you recommend good brakes for 1000hp 2jz A80
What side skirts are those?
The are TBT skirts that you can get from MVP Motorsports.
Do you have a 18" set up in the back also or do you just run the 15
I just use the 15's out back.
