I was there for Sunday only, and what a race! (No spoilers.) It was my first IMSA race ever. The video of these races doesn't cover the actual experience at all, does it! I can't wait till Thursday to see what I missed too. How are you supposed to wind down and sleep after a day at RA?
@@beenaplumber8379 Exactly! Seeing a race in person is always a great experience if not terrific. And speaking of RA itself, I had one heck of an exciting session at the go-kart motorplex. I was only there for Saturday and I still haven't quite wound down yet! ha
That one corner (I think it is Canada corner) with the track limit where the Porsche GTLM car went wide (replay at 59:02) is a little harsh. A couple of minutes later the Ford goes wide on turn 1 pretty similar. I get it, but no one is trying to void the track limits there. They're just trying to hang on to it without crashing with the amount of speed they are carrying through there. I'd say that if you send it that hard and come out of there alive with the potential to set a pole position lap, the lap should not be invalidated. It should be rewarded that the driver got the car through there and was able to keep pace with pole position and possibly get pole. Anyway, just my thoughts on certain track limits during qualifying. I would definitely be against drivers taking huge liberties on the track, but on spots like that I think the track limit could be a little more lax.
Ford Lap was invalidated. They highlighted within this very broadcast. Limits are limits. Imagine if that was grass beyond that extremely wide rumble strip 🤷🏼♂️
I think you're looking at an antenna tower that happens to line up with a cloud. If that's what you're looking at, go to 20:10 and pause, then hit the back arrow
Keating could possibly use speech therapy classes, or maybe some public speaking classes. That's not meant as a slight, I legitimately think it has potential to help him and other winning drivers in major series are absolutely going to be bolstered by speaking clearly and with confidence. There's a reasonable probability that doing so will aid their career by way of public perception.

A lot people can't watch it on the app either, this is great for people that work during race/qualifying times. They can wait a few days to see the entire race/qualifying on RUclips whenever they have the time to.
