I play since the original Vanilla Wow and to this day I STILL don't have the Headless Horseman's Mount. I've missed the event maybe twice ever, running it daily with every character available that could get it. And I still haven't gotten it. Even with the "better daily drop chance". It's the only yearly event mount I really want, since the beginning of me playing this game and it never gives it to me. I have better chances getting 2 million gold together than ever getting this damn horse.
I may be lucky. Played WoW mostly in WotLK and a bit in Legion. Subbed 1 month in Shadowlands and got the Headless Horseman's Mount as the event came right in that moment.
Got mine 4 years ago only one i really ever wanted been playing since 2005 its was a long wait, also got both my war glaives this year from BT just keep trying :)

I didn't hear you mention it so I decided to just put it out there, all the TCG mounts will be available by the end of next year through twitch prime rewards or twitch drops. If you're willing to wait a bit, you can receive all the rewards through twitch and the trading post. Make sure to keep an eye out for it.
I'm surprised that Headless Horseman Mount isn't counted in with BLR. Same drop chance,same method just different event. And I got both before the buff to drop chance...
More people go for headless mount since it's aesthetic is very unique, but yeah between the mount being bugged one year and hallows end being longer, it does make sense

The only I truly wanted since all these years was the time lost proto drake. I had free time and decided to camp it until I have it. It took me 32hours. But it dropped. I was the happiest in the world.
It's once per week per character. So if you have multiple alts you can attempt once per week on each one. Except the BFA WB which comes around only once every 6 weeks, but it has about about a 5% drop chance. Compared to others with a 1%.
for the liberated slyvern, you can get the mount and learn it and it will drop again. i can confirm it drops after learning it since i got it. learned it. then killed it again helping a friend and got it again then i traded it to my friend.
Ive got a TCG spectral Sabre. Whenever i bought the pack the card came in back in the day, it felt like a nice accomplishment. Also have a tabard of brilliance. Still wish i god that ethereal..
Back in Legion, I realized I liked playing my Mage I was leveling on Horde much more then my Hunter. So I used my boost for buying collectors edition of Legion and boosted a new mage. Did the intro quest line and went to Outland raids and dungeons to farm Transmogs. Got Ashes on my first try. Boy was my guild pissed that a character with maybe 2 hours played had gotten Ashes.
They should really remove the money cap. If they can farm the gold to pay for game time as a level 20, then more power to them. If they can do that without access to mail or the auction house, then I feel like that should be an achievement in itself.
It took me almost a week of spawn camping Breezebiter on WM on and off to get him. I didn't get all spawns due to IRL stuff but never before have I so meticulously tracked spawn times and I don't plan to do so again anytime soon. :D
Sharding has made it kinda unreliable to track spawntimes for certain mounts, breezebiter being one of them, if you stay on the same realm without moving from the spawnpoint it was still 30min to 3hour spawntime. I'm at about 300 kills of that stupid "rare" - i have seen it drop 5 times for other people, only mount i still need from DF other than a few of the newly added ones.
Over 900 mounts?! I played retail WoW last almost 3 years ago and I think I had maybe 350 or close to that. Wasn't the biggest mount collector and definitely bad rng victim, but jesus that's just unreal.
My first kill on my ACCOUNT of Rukhmar, and I got the Solar Spirehawk! I didn't even know it was a rare drop, and was doing it to get the world boss kill for the Pepe whistle toy. And no exploits either, I was on a blood elf monk. 😂

I hate how tcg cards have such a bad reputation. I have 7 or 8 of them I can't remember. I've bought every one of them with gold, mostly back in cata when everything wasn't gold capped. I got a spectral tiger (not swift) for 300k back then, and a magic rooster for the same. I don't know why today people automatically assume you've forked over thousand of dollars for a mount if your riding them. Strange conclusion to jump to, seeing how I'd assume most people either bought them with gold or they bought the actual card packs themselves many years ago. Very few people can legitimately afford to spend 10,000$ or whatever it costs on a mount. That's insane to think than, maybe I'm the crazy one though idk.
On the 14th Feb, I open an overlooked case during the event, I screamed out loud when the Big Love Rocket dropped. I never thought I would have that before they changed the drop rate, been dreaming about that since Wrath.
The pvp mount at 500 honor level was not that hard for normal pvp ppl. If you had 1 toon that would cap out the prestige system every season you would get around 175 honor level when it was implemented in BFA . So it was pretty simple if u had 2 toons running pvp in legion
I pvped during legion.. honor gain was minimal and same with bfa.. SL and DF are the first since wod to have significant honor gain. Prestige wasnt in any way giving honor unless major milestone every 10 lvl and it was a 100 honor token..
all the pvp i did in legion was get 2 toons to the prestige cap lvl 25 or what ever it was and stop for the season and when the honor levels came into the game in bfa i was at 175 . I hear ppl talk about the "exploit " over the years but never knew what it was clearly I know ppl who live in bgs day and night but i cant @@thargs9184

I feel like things like the Darkmoon Dirigible shouldn't even be on the list. It's super easy to get, but just boring and an obnoxious farm. I have 556 mounts and I have never bothered farming it because I think the DMF is super boring.
I just farmed the darkmoon tickets box from the black market was always cheap on my realm got the mount for less than 200k and paid more than that for a frog so not bad😂
Just to clarify something about Zereth Overseer (9:50) because your information is incorrect + people farming it are absolutely clueless because they can't comply with simple and logical math. First of all let me say that once the group is 415+, it gets incredibly easy to farm it. Now to the tricky part. The mount has a 1% chance to EVEN DROP, this is a fact. However you as a player, DON'T HAVE A 1% to get it. You will most likely invite 19 other people to the group, meaning the 1% gets divided by the amount of players in the raid. This means, that it's 1% divided by 20, which results in a 0.05% drop chance for YOU to get it. Same goes for Vengeance from Sylvanas.
i got this stupid heartbreaker mount in 2018, in 2017 and 2018 i made 52 a trys on this mount every day, and got it on the 4th last try i could make in 2018, i sat on it once and then never again

looks like a Prot Pally, they would have the best chance between Self-Healing, Bubble, Lay On Hands and just really exceptional Defensives.. you could probably do it on a maxed out Pally toon, but it will take a long ass time to pull off, and for only a 1% chance, i do not recommend it unless you have nothing else to go after.
Blizzard releasing the hotfix increasing world boss drop rate is not fortunate bro, its spitting in the face of dedicated hunters who spent years farming.
I still think invincible is the rarest mount. I honestly think its not in the game anymore, and the people who "have" it are just laughing at all of us thinking its still obtainable

Orginal Rivendale Mount...drop rate was .01%. Even at level 70, 3 maning this was a huge pain. I got mine 2 patches before they upper it to 1%.

Mollie's drop rate is WAY higher than the WB mounts, and the WB mounts aren't rare anymore, their drop chance is above 1% now.

A lot of people just cheated the honour mount in legion, farming world pvp zones on many many alts without even having to pvp.
Took me 3 weeks of constant farming the Breezebiter and 243 kills to get the mount... that one wasn't fun...
