Oh Cat thanks this is lovely....I love every single one of the morsels, I love listening to you and watching you. Please if you can, keep the morsels coming, I worried when you got to 30 you might say enough, please don't, I am sure I say this for a lot of people. Love you down here in New Zealand
+Sue Knibbs Thank you, Sue, for your sweet message. I'm really glad you're enjoying the morsels and I plan to continue doing them. I really appreciate you watching my videos and leaving comments for me. 😊
As always I thoroughly enjoyed watching you bring this morsel to life! I'm always so thrilled when I see you have a new video to share. Thanks for all your creativity and talents!
Love it! In fact the entire journey of mini morsels with you has been so fun! Can't climb onboard until next year, but I do plan on making me a mini morsel book!
Amazing how you take something so simple and make it so fun! Really loved the water technique but also the broder! So easy but so striking. Thanks for sharing all you do!
II’ve been doing the whole MMM series of techniques! I just sit down at my desk and work along with your video. This one is so fun and clever, full of good ideas. Love the wet brush ‘cutting’ hint.
Thanks for sharing, Trying to make the morsels one by one :) . Finished 4 already, and learning a lot from you. Today I learned that i didn't have to fussy cut stamped tissue paper.
Those little tiny leaves are so cute! It's such a handy thing to stamp on tissue paper, because who hasn't stamped directly on a piece and gotten a bad stamped image? Problem solved!
Thanks, Lori! Those tiny leaves were perfect for my little page. Yes, it's really annoying when you don't get a good stamped image. I love this technique for that very reason. Thank you for watching! 😊
I learned so much just from this video. The series is going to be really helpful! Thanks again! Priscilla By the way, I love your work. I am an acrylic painter on canvas but have been watching you for awhile and really like your style in artwork!
Tfs dear Cat!!! Stamping on tissue paper is so great as you can create so many beautiful backgrounds too!! I use it often! Very beautiful page!! :) xxx
Loved this one Cat,& i will definately do this one! I`ve been wanting to see some stamping on tissue paper-have been seeing a lot of Tim Holtz`s t.paper done on here & i knew that i would love just to do it myself instead of buying it,so thanx again :)
Hello Cat :) Another wonderful tip, and page :) I do enjoy watching your process videos showing how you think about what you will do next until you get it the way you like it :) tfs, and I hope you have an Outstanding Day :) amy
Thanks, Kerry - I’m glad you enjoyed it. 😊 Baking paper will probably be too heavy to use for this technique. It’s worth experimenting with, though - test it out on a piece of painted scrap paper and see what happens. The tissue paper works well because of how thin it is. Thanks for watching!
Cat I love this and I also need some help. On a bigger canvas collage similar to this I made my entire back ground from stamped sewing pattern paper, it came out great then the collage items on top are good but all together its too busy. Is there something other than gesso I could paint in or on background tissue paper to make it fade more to calm down overall collage. Gesso is too much white. The collage is "finished" so I need something I can sneakily paint in, to fade the sewing stamped tissue paper , or maybe gel medium down some light or white blank tissue to help it???? I really want to try and save this one, it has collage items on it I love and cannot remove without ruining, Thanks so much for all you do and for any suggestions you can make.
Thanks, Daria! For your canvas, if gesso is too much white, maybe you could try some off-white or cream colored craft paint. Water it down, and try it in a small area - maybe the top or bottom edge. It will look different when it’s dry, so dry it and see what you think. If the color is good, you can then either add more water or more paint to get the opacity you need to tone down your background. I hope this helps and you can enjoy what you’ve created. 😊
Very nice, Cat! The white dots and little leaves added so much to it!! My water brush (just like yours) has stopped flowing through to the brush. The barrel is full. Any suggestions? I've only used it with water color and am stumped on how to fix it. Help!! Thanks.
Thanks, Karen - I'm glad you liked it. 😊 I honestly don't know what would make the water in your brush stop flowing. I took a look at mine, and saw that there is a tiny hole in the black rubber valve. Maybe you could stick a pin in there and gently move it around to see if that will unblock it? Hope you can fix it!
great technique. Thank you Cat😊 My stamping is a bit hit and miss at the best of times, so this is perfect for stress free crafting😊
So glad you enjoyed it, Weenie. I agree - this technique does take the stress out of it. Thanks so much for watching. 😊
So pretty. The Morsels are so much fun.
Thank you, Karen. 😊

Hi Cat, I enjoyed your tissue paper video and what you created. I wanted to know if I could use baking paper to get the same effect?

+sweetdrops45 Thank you so much! 😊
COOL!
Thank you, Victor! :)
...another "duh, why didn't I think of that" tip (wetting the tissue paper to tear) seems obvious....now LOL
oh, and really good brushes for mod podge are those catalyst silicone brushes ( another duh moment for me when I saw the idea in a video)
+S Thanks for watching!
+S Thank you for the tip! 😊
hhhmmm... the method was great but the leaf as a focal point did not quite get it.. but it's a good learning video.
Thanks for watching!
You'll get better stamped images if you put a magazine under what you're stamping.
Cute!
+Wanda van Bogerijen Thank you - much appreciated! 😊😊😊
