- The family of an alleged bullying incident victim at Curro Secondary School in Somerset West is demanding a public apology from the school.
However, the school’s management says mediations were held, and support was offered to the pupil. It's also refuting racism claims by the Congress of South African students.
Nobesuthu Hejana has this story. #eNCA #DStv403
Somerset West, Strand, Stellenbosch, the wine lands basically are still very segregated and racist acts are normalized in these areas. I would'nt be surprised if these allegations were true either.
Our children are still being forced to wear muzzles at school for over two years now.
Ppl the student be accompanied to open up a case for this serious offence. Futher to that the school's of western cape are still regulated in terms of racial regime or attitude but we urge all students who are the victims of racism or those who observe such must report it to their parents or forward it to the social platform and even to use their phones if it possible to record such wrong conduct which is taking place in the educational environment.
