- A video of an apparent racist incident at Stellenbosch University is doing the rounds on social media, much to the outrage of many. The video shows a white student urinating on a black student's belongings. The incident is believed to have taken place at the weekend.
Stellenbosch University says it has suspended the student but is not ruling out further action.
We are joined by Stellenbosch University SRC chair Viwe Kobokana and Dr Choice Makhetha, senior director of Student Affairs at Stellenbosch University.

If a white guy does something to a black guy is called racism,but how many white guys get hijacked by blacks and no one says its racism? The victim was asked if the perpetrator said anything that suggest it was a racist incident, and the victim said nothing. However the anointed have concluded to be racist incident while the institution is still investing the matter. People need to stay in their lanes and stop being heros.

I thought the government has made racism act a crime not if I'm wrong, but I hear the discussion is on expulsion. If the racism is indeed a crime in this country, I'll suggest that if the perpetrator is the young person as it is expected in a university students at most, the parents must also answer for the crime of their child because it will seems to me that as humans we are born with above average level of love but as for hating others one must be taught and where else can one learn that if it is not from home as we are still having a quiet number of racist parents or generation still leaving amongst us.

Drunknesss does not excuse idiotic behaviour. He should have known better. I have been drunk as a student back in the day and not once did i bother/assault/humiliate anyone while inebriated. It says a lot about his actual character...what if he had physically harmed him? Would we laugh it off then?
