Oh wow the water looked really high at the Burdickville dam. It was a cool shot of that Great Blue Heron! I am surprised it didn't fly away immediately.
Honestly it's the closest I have ever gotten and the shot i did get didn't do it justice. I wish I had my camera setup vs just the action camera. The water was pretty high by my estimate
There were the few trees and overhanging obstacles. But no not really. I tried to keep it short but also show just about everything one would have to deal with. The beginning stretches are a bit windy so I'd say be cautious and it'd be fine. Little bit of a lift over right before the rapids on the left and then smooth sailing all the way to the take out
@@projectknifehand cool cool thanks. My wife and I put in at Bradford and paddled down to Potter Hill last year - definitely took longer than we planned on!
@@RhodySeth Nice. Yeah, now I need to do that one. I am going to try to attach a link for the watershed association that has excellent maps. You may know about it already. But if not it is an excellent resource with notes. wpwa.org/paddling-maps/
you're canoeing in the 'hood' bruh!/that's my home! did you guys check out the campsites at Burlingame north mgt. area? there are at least six of them. I also would hike into there as well.
Yeah I don't live far from there but it's not my hood for sure. I visited a handful of the sites. We didn't spend much time looking because we started late and it was getting quite dark. Last time I paddled in the dark I capsized lol. I've looked for them using the trails before but I couldn't find them. I must have been right on the other side of them. I was even using gps
Awesome
Hey thanks for watching sir! It was pretty awesome. I need to head back and fish it now

Nice looking water. Any camping available?
Like most places in Rhode Island, nothing official
We've thought about paddleboarding that section at some point. Looks like a couple trees to contend with. Any other major issues to be aware of?
