THIS is how you review jelly polishes. Wow! Great job. I never jellies alone. I wear them over something silver like Zoya Trixie, which has little reflective sparkles in it. My nails aren't pretty enough to go sheer. :)
Didn't even consider this collection before this video (really didn't like how they looked on plain nails). However, these swatches have given me some new ideas, might have to pick some up after all. 🤔👏☺️
Great swatches! Wow these look terrific over that silver holo glitter. I am crazy about this collection and have been playing around with them constantly since I got them. They are by far the best jellies I own in terms of streaks - so smooth even in one coat. I prefer them on their own or in jelly sandwiches, they really look like hard candy and it's such a unique look. Also the new think Essie brush is AWESOME.
My favorites are the green (OMG SO PRETTY!!!) blue and orange. The pink and purple are less unique, both similar to polishes in the Zoya Jelly Brites from 2018 and so if you have those you could maybe skip them. I will use the yellow in nail art but not on its own, it seriously looks like the super bright egg yolk from a really fresh backyard hen's egg. If you search for the #EssieGlazedDays hashtag on instagram you can see all the cool nail art people are doing with these. LOVE IT.
Wow! The different layering options you showcase, the comparisons with prior polishes of a similar nature, and your descriptions are invaluable in helping to better understand this collection and how it performs. THANK YOU!!!!
Wow, a lot of work. Love that you layered them over other polishes. I like to do that with less opaque polish and create something different. Love your channel!
Not a fan of Essie in general...I really liked the swatches on your natural nails...didn’t like them at all over anything else though...might get the green :)
I wish chunky glitters were still in fashion, I can see these working really well for jelly sandwitches, but most glitters these days seem to be really fine.
I actually saw this collection on the Essie website like a month ago and was so curious about it. Then I saw it in CVS the other day when I was running errands and was so tempted to buy then, but I wanted to see a full swatch video first. Lo and behold, here you are! I'm not the hugest fan of Essie polishes, but I really like the nail art possibilities from this collection. I may just purchase it.
Oh wow, I have four of these colours and never would have thought to wear them over a holo or a silver! Thank you for getting me super excited about wearing them! And I had passed up on the yellow but I might get it now...
So, I don't really like jellys and sheers at all, but some of these combinations are to die for. I'm considering buying some just to wear over a silver holo glitter. ♥
These are ALL awesome. It did take awhile to get much info on them; I bought mine right before Easter and had only heard about them from the info going around in Europe. These are amazing alone, and I have done beautiful jelly sandwiches as well! 😍
This was fantastic, Jess! Really enjoyed the video and I loved all colors over your glitter! But overall, not a fan of the collection. Thank you for all the hard work and all the comparison swatches!!
Essie is the most unhelpful nail polish company when it comes to them announcing their new collections. I guess they just think they don’t need to. 🤷🏻♀️
ESSIE is ridiculous with their promotion. Also the fact that you can only get certain collections in certain countries. In the Uk we only had the pink, purple and orange from this collection, I had to buy the others online.
I did for a little while, but I'm not making it anymore. There are lot of identical glitters out there though! Painted Polish "Drunk On Holo" uses the same glitter :)
jessFACE90 Ooh ok, thanks for responding! I’ll check that one out. Btw, so glad that everything’s going better with your mom. Wishing you both the best!
yes, you did an enormous amount of work on this, which gives us lots of ideas for nail art, so thank you !

Outstanding video. Thanks for going above and beyond!
Michelle Alston I second that!
I didn’t even care for this collection until I saw it over the glitter 😍😍😍
Wow this video must have taken forever to put together! Thank you for being so thorough!
Thank you for the way you approached this collection. So much work! But much appreciated!! I loved all of them over your glitter. 😍

Hands down the best video for this collection! (and I've seen quite a few)
I love the comparisons you provided. Really cool to see how different the color looks on top of different bases. Love the effect.
Wow! So many swatches and comparisons! Big thumbs up! :)
The orange :D I don't have many sheer polishes like this but this essie collection would be a nice one to start my sheers out with ;)
That must have taken so long to put together. Thank you so much for your thoroughness!
Agreed! Really appreciated seeing the different swatch options
Wow, that orange looks phenomenal overtop of the silver!
Been waiting for these swatches! I'm really into this collection and tempted to buy the yellow and/or green 💚💛

Wow I love all of them over holographic😍👏🏻

Awesome idea over the holo glitter! I really like it that way the best. Now I have a reason to bring them back out 🤩
Notification squad!! Love these colors.
Thank you! Thank you for all the work that went into this. The info is so useful.
Nars used to have a green like this.....of course it’s gone now. This is a great alternative.
Love the comparisons :) x

Thankyou so much for the comparisons and showing us multiple options! ❤️👍🏻👍🏻💅🏻you Rock!
so much work! Thanks!

Great review Jess. Very comprehensive!! Thanks for all your effort for us :)
I love jellies 😍
Super helpful, thanks for all of the comparisons!!
Great video!
I'm not much into jellies, but here I am watching your video. Great review 👍🏻😊
That was a excellent review. Thank you so much !
Thank you for this comparison/ review video!
Is the silver holographic nail polish currently available on your website?
Would have liked to see these just swatched with three coats and see how they preform that way
Ha ha, I liked all the silk watercolor shades better!
Essie is the most unhelpful nail polish company when it comes to them announcing their new collections. I guess they just think they don’t need to. 🤷🏻♀️
Thank you for your hard work. I do like these, alone and over the glitter polish. Could you link the glitter polish? Thanks!

Do you sell (or are you planning to sell) the holographic you showed as a base?? 👌🤞
Tracee Rhodes Right?! My question exactly!
I did for a little while, but I'm not making it anymore. There are lot of identical glitters out there though! Painted Polish "Drunk On Holo" uses the same glitter :)
jessFACE90 Awesome - thanks!
jessFACE90 Ooh ok, thanks for responding! I’ll check that one out. Btw, so glad that everything’s going better with your mom. Wishing you both the best!
You did so much work on these swatches I hate to ask, but worn alone did they stain?
Couldn't find these on the Ulta website. Did they sell out that fast??
It seems they were pretty limited edition. There are some colors available on transdesign.com and there are quite a few left on eBay as well :)
@@jessFACE90 wow!! That was fast!! Thanks for the heads up!
