If you have a channel in your Human Design that is Individual, you are likely to go through melancholy as a part of your process of mutation.
Sometimes it can seem totally inexplicable why you feel stuck, sad, and hopeless for no reason...but now, you have this video and will understand much better what is going on!!

whew on the fourth day of my first time really consciously in my individual melancholy - 4/6 mani with 12/22 - i laughed the first few seconds bc on the couch with my blanket moping was exactly what was happening when i clicked in. resonated so much!! thank u!!

I have a ton of individual gates. They make up the majority of my defined circuitry, but only one complete individual channel, the 60-3. I definitely have experienced melancholy as a major theme in my life. But through experience, I’ve learned to make peace with it usually when it comes. I now know the next surge of inspiration always comes. 1/3 sacral authority generator cross of laws.

Thank you. I have 57-20. I love racing games and playing jazz piano bc i can do things, mutate, in the moment. I have so many artistic projects and business that i dont get to manifest bc im a projector. I am also going from being a musican to being more of a business guys and other stuff. Ive noticed that my projector-evolutions literally take 7 years before I am recognized for the thing ive been studying so eagerly for so long. And then after ive mastered it, often, the next mutation makes my mind rampant again. So focusing on what is ripe or finished from 7 years ago helps me appreciate where i am now, and relax.

3/6, splenic projector with channel 61-24. Melancholy is part of my creative process and listening to music and breath work helps me breakthrough the sadness and malaise.
I've got Channel 10-34 and i can definitely feel its effect every time i step into a room. Other people's gazes linger on me because of it. Two individual channels and one collective for me. It fits my personality.
Interesting...I have that channel and I don't feel that people look at me more...maybe you're just good looking! lol!
People noticing if other people are looking at them more than usual is a matter of awareness... or paranoia. (I prefer to go with awareness.) :)

gracias🙏💕 this helped a lot! i have channel 8-1 and 60-3. reading up on 60-3, melancholy was mentioned a looot and even my aunt said to me years ago that i always had such "melancholic eyes".
i remember countless moments in my youth being just incredibly melancholic. at home, alone, not knowing what to do with myself. i always thought this was due to heavy childhood trauma. well, maybe it is, but also because its my design.
this whole mutation process for me is defo a challenge and im still learning how to sit with it.
im a 1/4 gen.
I've been running this process consciously for a years now without knowing it's a thing that individual circuitries do! I noticed that if I don't follow the clarity the stagnation wondering in the wilderness can go on for days or weeks until the next melancholic phase.

I am water/ snake/ the lightworker that has the gift of transmitting myself and others IN the “missing link” in there transmission back to there light and higher frequenties. huh. i didn't realize the 'melancholy' (that word seems such a watered down poetic wrapping versus the reality of experience sometimes, lol) was part of the individuaity. (or maybe forgot and needed a reminder reframed as you put into words). makes sense of alot.
Resonates for sure. This is a great reminder for me to REVIEW past impulses & desires and act on some of them vs me always trying to do something new.

Sometimes I find it useful not to try to find something wrong with melancholy. Outdoors I have the greatest releases. Now that I have a surge of creativity.
I found I could o poetry, playwright, drama. But here is the thing. I feel like crap giving it away casually. Privately is the key.

Oh I have sooooo many of these channels! (All the individual circuitry and the 39-55). And I'm a mental health therapist in private practice who helps people with their trauma and pain which is a mirror of all I've experienced and healed from. HD and Gene Keys has helped me know that I just need to BE. BE the me that I am naturally who is always working on healing all the trauma inside me (I'm a gate 59 Sun). I also have 6 throat channels...and the 13-33 (my Moon and Mercury) really help me to help others. Melancholy is still difficult... but I am gaining more tools to utilize while I'm in it. Thank you for this video! It's very validating ❤ I'm also a Sleeping Phoenix! I'm a 1/3.

I'm in a major transition period, and I'm doing my best to just do the 'step' my intuition says, but sometimes I get overwhelmed with the need to make money 'rationally'. Question, if I have Gate 22, but not the channel 22-12, does that mean it's considered individual circuitry with in my chart? Thank you for all your wisdom shared
Hi Malorie! You are so welcome. It sounds like you are mid-mutation, which is uncomfortable, especially when financial security is involved. Do what you need to do to take care of business in the process! And yes, trust is huge! Yes, having a gate activated does make that a part of your design, but it would be more constant if it were a channel. HUGS

Do you have any advice for having the channel 3-60?
if the lines are colored or white? I am confused...I have all those middle lines, but so my son does too...and my ex..Don't everybody has those channels?
If they are coloured. No, not everyone has individual channels. But we can tend to attract people that are like ourselves and genetic themes run in families, so I'm not surprised you and your son have the same channels. Welcome to the crazy world of Human Design.
