When I got into human design I had the belief the MG was the worst ones out of all of them. Now I’m starting to understand means why I behave the way I do. I do start a lot of hobbies and projects and then lose interest how can we stay focused and interested in the one thing?
As a 59 year old I can say from my personal experiences the last thing you need to do is worry about “Sampling”! If you just start to ask your inner authority- its definitely going to tell you. Mine smacks me upside the head now that I take time each day to devote myself to my truth. Just a few minutes of quiet intention, no hours long meditation. As long as you are happy “sampling” you are ok. So much detail in your chart will explain it! Maybe you are around too much distraction and noise with no time to ground and meditate? I really hope that helps a little. Im new to this but have 6 decades of being an MG and I knew thats what I was without knowing the “label”- but not until recently!

It’s amazing the synchronicity and how things lineup. Until tonight I had no clue about human design or manifesting generator. I discovered tonight that I am a manifesting generator. Which makes sense even more what spirit has been teaching me over the last couple months. My whole life I have had to fight and charge headlong into life to get what I need and want. He has been teaching me the art of attracting. Instead of doing. You were also talking about burnout. I have struggled with burnout throughout my life . This all is helping me understand why.

Not really. It's not that healthy for children to develop very fixed ideas let alone such subtle ones, about their personality. Also, once you mandate or mass produce such a curriculum it gets completely cheapened and distorted.

Finally - a resource that gives an example - yay!!! Thanks for including your experience re teaching salsa as that gave clarity to some of the jargon within human design. I'm new to it so I'm looking to gain understanding but am finding those who know speak in a lingo that's not easy to comprehend. I guess what I need to find is a "for dummies" version to help me wade through it all.
I'm still not sure of the meaning behind human design, is it just in regards to career? Much of what people mention is working in teams vs working alone. Or informing others of your actions. It feels like a career based modality. The idea of waiting has me wondering: who am I waiting on, why am I waiting, and what am I waiting for? It's all very confusing at this stage! :)
There's still lots more I'm wanting to find clarity on, but thanks for your video & example as it helped ticked a box or two.

I definitely have lots of ideas, and even before I knew about Human Design, I used to experiment a lot. I used to initiate a lot, and a lot of times it worked, too, but I realized, why.
I had a question while listening to you, but it kind of has been answered. My experience is that a lot of times things come to me in the form of guidance from inside my being. I started a lot of things that meant to happen even when Life reflected back a no, but the no only meant that not in a way I originally imagined. For example I started to translate The Way of Mastery into Hungarian 6 years ago (still in the process of it because it contains several books), but there were no confirmation from others in the beginning.
It is definitely very helpful to know about my HD type though, because usually things work like you described it.
And I did have to learn whether something is a mental idea or a divine spark from my Heart - then I can initiate because taking the step is based on the waiting to respond strategy. It just coming from inside my own being.
Have you experienced this as a MG?

I have SOOOOO many ideas... but the lack of time really gets me hahah. I think this is why I'm attracted to playing Sims, you can do so many different things much easier than IRL. ;P I definitely work best autonomous, but I do well playing ideas off of people sometimes too esp if I'm stuck.
Yes this is why waiting to respond versus initiate is so essential. If you act on every idea you will misuse your life force and the things you create won’t be satisfying. So you will just burn out. But if it comes to you and you respond, you will have a better idea about what to give your energy to

I'm a little bit confused so Mani genarators need to wait to respond as a stratgy but they also has a defined sacral which means to act on your gut feeling "yes or no" in that moment. Wait to respond takes time but acting upon your gut feeling doesn't. how this thing works with mani-geni in that regard, Karen?

I have 2 kids that are manifestor generator. 3 that are generators. 1 that is projector. I am a manifestor. I hope that knowing their design I can help them grow healthier.

Interesting perspective, and yet so much of HD is about mutation. Perhaps since the time Ra brought it in until now there has actually been a mutation into 5 types. Plus, perhaps through Ra’s white male perspective there was some amount of corruption in his translation.

Yes !! That is a problem. Anything needs consistent energy over years to succeed. So it is good to choose something you can stay consistent with over the long term. Look at me . I’m 43 and my business is just starting to succeed after 15 years in this industry because I started way too many things

I really struggle with determining what focus is most important to me, getting stuck with certain creative pursuits can breed doubt and question it all. Ie im an artist, painting etc, as a kid drew little stories too, currebtly writing a long book and picture books. The pictures flow and come easily and is how i see the story but getting the words to fit or feel right has been so hard. How do we sense what's really for us if the spark goes away or flickers? Thank you❤
I have been told my strangers and many tbat i should make picture books or am told my art would be beautiful for it but no one has asked me to write a normal novel, maybe this is part of it interesting

Hi- I am a manifesting generator but on my chart there is no link to the throat. Does anybody know what does that mean?
Hi love, you can't be a manifesting generator with an undefined throat center. Having a defined throat is a defining characteristic of being a manifesting generator. My wife is also a salsa dancing manifesting generator too! Question, is the "response" similar to the projector's "invitation"? Is there any important nuance?

Hi Karen, A question: is it okay for a MG to use dating apps like Tinder? Or would that be considered an attempt to 'initiatiate', and have unfruitful results? Or should a MG 'wait to respond' in their love life?
Hi love...yes it's ok to use apps...but there is more nuance to this. I will see if I can do a video that addresses this further, but in the meantime...I encourage you to continue to experiment with what it means to Wait to Respond as an MG

I am a MG and I just created a free chart of my husband. I don't have his specific birthtime, but his mother told me about what time it was, so I made 5 or 6 charts with different times (around 30 min before and after the time that his mother mentioned) and the chart keeps saying my husband is a MG too. But I cannot believe this at all. That he is a generator I can fully get, because that is what I expected him to be. But a Manifesting Generator like I am and like how you describe an MG to be with all the ideas and manifesting power, well no. He hardly ever has ideas, like I have, really almost never. To me, and I have known him for 20 years, he is a hard working generator. What is going wrong here? He is 48.

Is it your design in thumbnail? Looks similar to my wife, even your apearance is alike. It's funny how she as MG and me as Manifestor operates differently. Our relationship is sometimes turmoil. I found out that I must inform her before she takes action. Luckily informing can be faster then her rocket-like doing. It's so about communication... Whithout it I am dead slave conditioned generator.

Not everyone who is a MG is an entrepreneur. I am not sure what I said in this video but that would definitely be a misinterpretation! I might have said that having a direct motor to throat connection means that they can work well independently… and that lends its self well to entrepreneurship, but definitely there are millions upon millions of employee MGs. In the ideal they are given free reign to follow their pace.
