Married 12 years. For the first year, I was like you. Then I told my wife that if she couldn't take over driving duties when I was tired and needed a nap, we can't go on road trips and can't drive more than 50 miles one way on a day trip. That was the kick in the pants that she needed. Nowadays we split driving based on traffic conditions. I can drive for longer but hate driving in traffic. She enjoys driving in traffic as it allows her to get incredible gas mileage on our hybrid.
I tough I was the only one scared of a female driver.
