  • This is chapter 1 of GD&T Geometric dimensioning and tolerating Master class series, In this chapter i have explained Feature, Feature of size, Type of feature of size- Regular feature of size and irregular feature of size,
    and most importantly why we should know that what are regular feature of size and what are irregular feature of size, or just a feature,
    because without understanding of feature of size we can't understand GD&T Rule 01, So let understand this concept of everything together in this following chapters:

    Very informative video bro 😊❤. I have one doubt at 30:56. Dia 5 is having +- 0.1, doesn't it refines the straightness tolerance of 2.

    why is slot not a regular feature of size they have parallel elements right as you mention in 22:02

      Yeah, two parallel elements, means two faces of a slot is a regular feature of size, two parallel lines of a slot are regular feature of size, and will follow the GD&T rule 1, but a complete profile of slot (complete continues profile- including two parallel face and both end arc) is not a regular feature of size. complete slot profile will not follow GD&T rule 1, only individual faces will follow the GD&T rule 1.
