I love how that you could do this stuff more simple through asterisk or freepbx but you do it through voice gateways and routers and stuff just to make things more fun
Very impressive setup! Love the detailed video. I have a busy enterprise network setup at home and a failover to 5G cell and 4G cell. Main connection is 1gig fiber. I have an ATA but havent set it up as yet. 😊
My understanding of phone systems is very surface level but you seem to have quite the robust setup I'm hoping to some what mimic a set up like this in the future. also you sound really young is it just your voice? or something? i ask cause i very rarely encounter any one younger than 30 who is even mildly interested in these things other than myself.

Is the TANDEMX network based off of the Defense Switched Telephone Network (DSTN) that the DoD runs for all of the US military installations?
I don’t think so. All I know is that it just runs asterisk
TandmX is more based off of a 70s era PSTN. It uses 7 digit numbers.
