    In todays video, I played around with different herbs I got from Anima Mundi, and show you how I make a "collagen boosting" hair mask, face mask and tea! As we age our collagen decreases (or if you have indented acne scars like me, you experience a loss of collagen). There are many collagen promoting herbs such as Fo-Ti, Horsetail, Gynostemma, Nettles, Calendula, Comfrey and more. Remember to always take vitamin C with your collagen boosting herbs!

    This brand isn't available in my country. Not only this brand, but almost all the brands you make videos on, aren't available in some countries. And if they're available, they're damn costly.
    I have a request. Please make videos on products which are a bit cheap and available worldwide. I love you sooo much ❤

      The thing about cheap products is you get cheap quality. Maybe try some of her tutorials with food ingredients? Avocado on it's own with honey or yogurt would make a decent hair mask. ^_^

    Irish moss is full of collagen, buy some dry irish moss put it in some clean water for one night, blend it in a blender in the morning it will become as a gel cream put it in the fridge, eat one or two tablespoons a day, you can also apply it on your face and hair its very good 🌸

    Hi, Sarah, I'm from Morocco and I want to give you a good tip before you apply any mask for your hair you must wet it with warm water that's make your hair absorbs the mask quickly

    • @TracyD2
      @TracyD2 5 лет назад +5

      Miss Muslimah Some people believe that when the hair is saturated water there isn’t much room for the mask to be absorbed. For me personally I always like to damp my hair. I use less product, it’s glides on easier. It always seems to work fine.

    • @MaayanLovesUnicorns1
      @MaayanLovesUnicorns1 5 лет назад +5

      Tracy it really does depend on the hair. For me personally if I wet my hair, the product won’t get as absorbed and the end result won’t be as great as it would have been if I put the product in my dry hair. I feel like dry hair absorbs more of the ingredients meant to bring moisture to the hair.

    Okay just a friendly reminder for anyone who are considering taking He Shou Wu. This thing contains certain amount of toxicity that can cause liver damage when over-dosed. I don't know if they regulate this thing in America or Canada but here in my country (which is the OG of holistic treatment and alternative medicine) it's restricted by our FDA. One should not consume over 1.5g of raw He Shou Wu or 3g of processed He Shou Wu per day. And any He Shou Wu contained supplements sold in my country should notify their customers that these products are not for long-term usage and must certainly not marketed to people who may have any sorts of liver dysfunction or have liver problems run in their family. I clicked the link in the description box and viewed the website of "collagen booster" and didn't notice any warning. I thought maybe this herb is not common enough in western world to cause attention. I'm not against holistic medicine and all that but do know that "natural" isn't equal safe and please do more research before consuming herbs (especially those strange ones) for your own safety.

    Hi Sarah!! This collagen routine looks very healthy and organic. I am so glad that you take the tim e out!! Also, thank you for the video on lip gloss. I have been wearing a red lipstick for about three years, but needed a change. Today, I bought glistening berry, by Loreal. It stays on for two hours, and leaves a nice stain, after that. Also, I am happy to report that my hair is growing and healthy. Thanks to tips from you, Coffee and Makeup, and organically Anna. I oil with 4 oils mixed twice a week, and use sulfate and silicone free hair shampoo and conditioner. I no longer condition scalp like I used too. And I use the ACV rinse twice a month, to clarify and shine. It makes a big difference. And I wear a protective style braid to bed, in a satin like pillow case. I cannot wear pony tails and breads, but for an hour in the day, as I have migraine headaches.😠 I love your style. You are so good for all womens' soul!! Teaching us to slow down for beauty and care. I agree!! Thank you so much for all that you teach to all women and girls!! And sharing your great product finds and applying all so gracefully. You are truly an exceptional gift from God!! Thank you!! Peace!!

      Leslie king This sounds like I could of written it. My scalp will hurt if I keep it up long and the funny thing is I never had a problem with a sore scalp until about a year and a half ago. One of my new oil additions to my oil blend is Babassu oil. It’s similar to coconut but a bit lighter and it absorbs in the hair shaft as well. I love the gals you mentioned. Green beauty channel is another favorite.

      Hi love! I'm not sure where you are getting $400 from? From the products I used in the line, the collagen booster is $30, The mangosteen hibiscus is $24, The curam elixir is $22. These are very average prices for high quality, organic herbal products. I try to find high quality organic products that are affordable. But when I do find cheaper products, they contain fillers, etc. I will really try to find something though! Or maybe someone else scrolling through will have suggestions

    hey! i noticed that you said you struggle with dry ends. I watched your how to sleep in healthy hair styles and you had said that you apply an oil to your ends and while ends tend to be more dehydrated regardless... oil is actually very damaging to your hair. If you’ve ever have water and oil together you know they don’t mix. Well, your hair is much like a flower and it needs water to grow and stay healthy! 🌸❤️When we put oil on our hair it repels the water which causes dehydration. I support the doctor comment, *thyroid problems* are very common and make your hair thin and fall out (personal experience), google the common symptoms of hypo/hyper-thyroidism and see), another common reason is *stress* (its handfulls for me during the exam period) and third most common are *nutrient defficiencies* (A,B,C,D,E vitamins, zinc, iron and protein). Only after you've checked those you can look for things like castor oil, because those tend to be the root causes.

      Vitalina Korchuk I second what Katerina says above my comment! I also have first hand experience with hair loss due to Hypothyroidism...a TSH test is inexpensive and often is the cause especially among women. Stress takes a huge toll on us and for that, an amazing herb called Ashwagandha will help your body adapt to stress. I went from my hair falling out due to extreme stress to no fall out! Third and fourth are Iron and Vitamin D. Low thyroid hormones (TSH, T3, T4) and low vitamin D go hand in hand. I have to take a prescription Vit. D supplement. If you aren’t getting enough iron in your diet, low Ferritin and Iron levels can cause hair loss. Ferritin is a test that shows the Iron storage in your body. One last thing I want to mention, as she mentioned zinc, is that copper and zinc must be balanced. So if you overdo it on zinc, your copper will become depleted. Copper also helps with keeping your hair color too.
      One last that I’ve just remembered is Iodine, an essential nutrient that can cause low thyroid levels if not absorbed or eaten adequately.
      All vitamins and minerals are important but these are the most important regarding your hair.
      First and most important, are these simple blood tests that can be done to determine if your deficient.
      I know how stressful it is to lose hair, so I wish you good luck and good results!

Also, I use jojoba oil instead of coconut oil as coconut oil is too heavy for me and makes my hair fall out. I also take iron supplements and increase the dosage from 1 to 2 tablets as soon as I feel I am loosing more hair than normal. Hope this helps Asma.

      @@asmakhan9695 Try switching from coconut oil because when your hair is falling out it is very fragile so trying lighter oils are better even olive oil and almond oil i too heavy for my hair. If you find it hard to get iron tablets try your local pharmacy for a good quality multivitamin tablets and make sure you take them regularly. Take care Asma :-)

    I have a question, I am on vacation where I will be swimming in chlorine everyday. Do you recommend washing my hair after every swim, or just rinsing it and then wash it every other day. Usually at home I wash it every three days so I feel bad washing it everyday. What do you think is healthier for my hair?

I know the work that goes into capturing all of the camera angles, etc. Just wanted to give credit it where it is deserved! I wanted to ask, when you aren’t sitting in front of the window, what kind of lighting are you using and how is it positioned? You always look so bright! I’m trying to figure out how to brighten myself up too so would love some tips. Thank you so much Sarah. Have an amazing day and I look forward to your next video. Lots of love

    Hi Sarah, I recently saw your older video and wanted to know if a peachwood wooden comb is good for the hair. I have been noticing that there is a lot of hair in my comb whenever I brush them. It only happens when I brush my hair and when I shower, so much of my hair fall out. I've been using castor oil as well as coconut oil, but I don't use them frequently. Any recommendations? And how to bring back my healthy silky hair? 💕

    hello, thank you for posting your hair care videos. They have been very helpful. My daughter, who's 8 yrs. old, has hair which is similar to yours both in length and thickness. I have been using braids or buns to keep her hair from getting matted even during day time. She has been asking me to let her hair down or in pony tails and she wants them smooth and silky. With just shampoo and conditioner, her hair still feels a bit wavy even after blow drying. May be I am doing something wrong. I would like to know what you do when you have to leave your hair down. thank you in advance.
