Customize Subscription Types in HubSpot for Email Campaigns

- While HubSpot comes with two email subscription types right out of the gate ("Marketing Information" and "One on One"), you can easily add additional subscription types to better categorize your email messages.
What does that mean? With one generic "marketing" subscription type, people can basically choose to receive all of your emails or none of your emails. But if you categorize your emails into smaller buckets based on products/service offerings, industry, region, lifecycle stage, etc. you'll allow people to opt into the messages they most want to receive…and out of the ones they don't.
Need inspiration? Perhaps some users want critical customer alerts, but don't care for other marketing messages. Or maybe you have a group of prospects who would love to visit you at a trade show or other events, but wouldn't want to get your monthly newsletter. Instead of forcing a user to get all or none of your emails, let them pick and choose the types of emails they want to get from your organization.

No video (yet!), but that's a great idea for a future topic.
To do this on you own, you'll need to edit the CSS in your system templates. That's beyond what most marketers can handle without a developer, but if you want to give it a stab here are instructions: knowledge.hubspot.com/email/how-do-i-customize-my-email-opt-out-page

Can I know the template you're using?
Hello Kiwi Creative, I have a question: how can I make a list of contacts in a certain subscription type?
To show contacts by subscription type, you'd go to Contacts > Lists > Create list > Active list > Add filter > Contact/Email Subscriptions > Contact has opted into all of. This list will populate with contacts opted IN to that subscription type, though you are able to email anyone as long as they've not opted OUT.
