It depends on which coin slot your using if its greenwald v8 doesn't use insert other than block out key to use quarter now ESD v8 uses inserts most likely if you removed the insert the quarters should work. Also i think esd requires quarter insert for quarters to work and if remove it can use 2 quarters per slot i might be a bit off its been awhile since i work with these things

Can I just remove the dime slot and drop in quarters or does it require the quarter slot to work??
