Im inside bc of quarantine for about a month now in New York. Haven't been to a meeting in weeks. Needed to hear this. Had 4 years at one point did all 12 steps but was still shoplifting and cheating on my girlfriend. Needless to say for other reasons I went back out. And I got nothing but more pain. After the loss of my car/house. the death of my best friend. a prison bid. Im back with 9 months clean
Keep up the work it's worth it in the end...

Im glad im not the only one with multiple whit tags.. I fuck up and i dont work my steps.. But im 24 hrs clean and im listening to tapes to help.

Sometimes while I'm in the kitchen i like to listen ..feels like I'm in a meeting
I created a support group for struggling addicts that can't regularly attend meetings, I post a couple meetings every day, motivational memes, stories of recovery and etc. I'd love to see ya there virtually. It's a smaller group and I refuse to let anyone judge. Check us out if you need to. Bless you!! Just for Today. 😇

Im in Finland and there is a Limited number of meetings here. I just started going to the virtural meetings listed on the NA website. Its been really helpful

One day out of treatment ! 23 days sober from fentanyl, Xanax, and meth! I’m nervous going back to reality. I still think about getting but as long as I’m sober today that’s all that matters. And I have to continue to tell myself. Just.For.Today.

That's right, just don't get high TODAY. That's the #1 thing we need to focus on. Drugs weren't my problem, they were my solution. My problem was deeper and I needed to make some changes in my life and in myself. I wish you well.
For me, and thousands of recovering addicts, it's tough to make it to meetings, i have 3 kids,a wife, happy 24 hours!!!!

U will find it harder now with the corona virus...online meetings are the way to go now
Take inventory of how much time you spent on active addiction and I'm sure you can find AT LEAST a couple of hours a week to transfer that time spent using to time spent working your recovery. Also intherooms.com is huge. You have time for what you make time for. This disease is life or death. If there's ANYTHING that you need to prioritize your time for over everything else, it's your recovery.

Cancer/Pain patients need a voice too and are suffering fighting to stay alive and are being lumped together with those needing to check out. Obviously, the two intentions are on opposite sides of the spectrum and yet it is still causing cancer/pain patients to commit suicide as a direct result of the frustration of having to suffer with increasing pain from medication being reduced to meet politicians demands. Politicians get to claim they are doing their part yet creating even further issues.
We need to human up! It is 2020 and we can do so much better than this! These bandage “fixes” are causing a deeper pit instead of dealing with the source.
Pain/Cancer patients need a voice at the table. 🙏🏽💝

Thanks bro I was on opiates for many years I then when on methadone to taper down on Tuesday’s took my last doses at 2 mg I’m felling better and better though the days and I know I want na meetings I will look for it near me
I have also been on the Buvidal injection for a year now...And hope to get off at some point. I have recently started going to n/a meetings online...listed as virtual meetings online NA website. It has been amazing to meet people from all over the world. Im in Finland and there is only one English language meeting once per week...so these meetings have been supporting me
