All the red stone can be vastly simplified by moving the center block back one space, swapping the piston out for a piece of red stone dust, and using observer blocks on the corners. Then your button press activates the system on both the on and off states without needing an array of repeaters.

+GamerTheNerd aren't cows 1.5 blocks high and babies 1 block high? been a while but if so you could use this with some slight modification. remove the trap doors, lower the killing floor slabs by a block?
I think you could make it better by bringing the babies together through a water stream and then placing a lava above them and a hopper under them so you dont have to manually press the button and all you have to do is breed

thanks for vid i was making my own but had a problem with all the pigs getting in to another part i usually use signs but that wasn't working properly never thought of using trap for thanks for the idea my cooker working great now lol
by removing the trap doors the baby cows would be able to pass through and the adult cows would not. as for the lava, just be patient and wait for them all to grow up.
