The world was beautiful, the battle system was refreshing, the tools weren't OP, the story/side missions were interesting, The Hidden Ones DLC was good, and The Curse of the Pharaohs DLC was great. The afterlife areas were cool and the summer lands afterlife area was particularly beautiful. The lock on feature was a little glitchy in my opinion, the dodge wasn't perfect, the viewpoints seemed almost useless, the soldiers that carried resources got aggressive when you were simply passing them, and i felt like there should have been a button for lighting torches or arrows on fire. Sometimes he would either catch on fire or put the bow away too fast and it was annoying. It also would have been nice to hide dead bodies in bed and to throw patrolling soldiers over walls. Waiting for their body to fall so you can pick it up and then throw it over the wall caused you to get spotted on occasion.

I think the more accurate names for these bosses are Ancient Dragon God, the Old Iron King and High lord Wolmir, cause they basically stuck their body in a position where you can only see from the torso up and they occasionally swing their hand or throw some long range attack
I find it awesome (as a mythology nerd) that you can kill the gods and interact with them. Isn’t that why people love the god of war series. To take down such a primordial being?
As someone who's had a chance to play both the old AC games and newer ones, I actually like both. However, I can see why people are saying it isn't AC anymore. Bringing gods and magical weapons into it wasn't the most original idea, but it's done with the intent of allowing players to continue enjoying the games. Giving them a new look and feel. So my thoughts on Origins, I feel like Assassins Creed has gotten way out of control. It used to be about history and the apple, and that was fine. I feel like at this point they're trying way too hard to mimic a Souls type of feel to the games. Like with the big bosses and such. That's not at all a bad thing, in fact everything was great up until the execution. The trials just look like a big boy Mario boss. With them throwing the weak spot at you. Not only that but they barely even fight back. It's like the occasion swing and a small hoard of enemies. It might have been better if the weak spot wasn't so, "HEY DIPSHIT HIT ME" but more like shadow of the colossus which forces you to explore the boss and find it. I think that design would've been much better with Origins because parkour is already a big part of Assassins Creed.
That's why it's titled Origins. The beginning of everything thus far. The apple was created by the Isu/Those Who Came Before/First Civilization, instigated by the theft of an Apple of Eden by Adam and Eve. Resulting to the Human-Isu War. The Capitoline Triad - Minerva, Jupiter and Juno were Isu scientists. Names themselves were identified as roman gods during the height of worshiper in Egypt and Rome. Juno has other plans for the world, which was the reason Minerva and Jupiter imprisoned her. Of course there will be gods. What, you think just a human like Michelangelo or Da Vinici can create an artifact that gives illusion, mind-control, physical manipulation, tangible holograms, advance knowledge, apparition conjuration, power imbuing, energy manipulation, invincibility and etc? We all know God takes fun through trials and suffering of humans. We're their entertainment before they would decide to interfere or when human starts to fight their oppressors. It always starts to a divine being creating something that causes destruction to humans.
Phantom I agree with you. I overall liked the game, though there are several areas that could be improved, but they really stepped away from the AC element. History was a really cool part of the game. Yeah, it just loosely had facts tied in but that was one of the main original foundations. As for the gameplay, I completely agree and barely realized I was playing AC. It felt much more like something else, however, I still enjoyed it. You make several good points.
Though the game says that it's just a glitch in the Animus. My head canon is that they're the same thing as the mythos creatures from Odyssey. That these powerful "gods" are just humans that Juno and Aita experimented on. Hence the strange Isu like armor and Apple of Eden shape that the gods have in their chests. So the story is that human race specifically the Egyptian race of humans saw these experiments as gods and started worshipping them. Or maybe they're animals that Juno and Aita experimented on like Cerberos in the Fate of Atlantis DLC
People say AC should come back to its root, but hate on Unity. The fact that Origins was well received proved Ubisoft did the right thing to save this franchise.
Only reason origin got well received was because a new change to the franchise obviously and becuae of the past games being bad received. If ubisoft did a good thing then why was odyssey not so well received was an ok game

I'm gonna pretend, That Bayek is a demigod or just a good goin around, killing other gods
Bayek's wife is descended from a demigod who isn't actually half god, just a full mortal with an unusually high amount of Isu genes
Well, like the story says, these are animua glitches. They never happened exactly that way
fir xanza Basically a Demigod
@@Saied036 god damn I did not expect people to still even be viewing these videos lol
10:24 that sound is beautiful, chilling and powerful😳😳
Weird
I was lvl 28 when the first Trial was released and i never got to defeat these gods damn
My boy out here fighting Gods and I can’t even meet mine 😔😔😔
Kratos: That's my Boy!
Zanar your outfit is dope
Giant god vs wooden arrows
People say AC should come back to its root, but hate on Unity. The fact that Origins was well received proved Ubisoft did the right thing to save this franchise.
Only reason origin got well received was because a new change to the franchise obviously and becuae of the past games being bad received. If ubisoft did a good thing then why was odyssey not so well received was an ok game
10:50 use Edward kenways outfit
This is badass but i feel like it would have been cooler if the gods didnt look like they were underground from the waist down
Ezio Auditore I realy miss you !!
Andre Bousk trust me we know man.
Can you imagine being a god, like "I AM UNTOUCHABLE. I AM A GOD. OH THIS? THIS VERY BRIGHT GLOWING SPOT? IT'S NOTHING DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT."
This Assassin creed game is lit being able to dodge is a huge thing to this because doing counter moves would get the game boring at times in my opinion 🤔 and the gods made it better you wouldn’t get bored of killing humans when you can go against bosses and hunters y’all probably mad from losing on it n spam the counter 😂
This shows that not only gods are powerful
The truths are also powerful than lie
I wish that they repeat it in the next game against the Greek gods.
i guess they just did that with odyssey
The only thing that would make this better, is if Bayak said something after defeating these gods.
Wtf have they done to assassins creed
Archington ikr. It's nothing like assassin's creed anymore Xd, but ppl seem to like it, so do I a bit
IKR!!!
skyrim creed
Guys if you dont like this game then so be it no one likes your opinion anyway. If you want the game you like then why not create one? If you can and if its gonna become famous fuck you all.
Raizo Lumayag AC Origins is prob ur first AC lol
I wish they had done more with these fights.
I wish they added more fights like this with more gods and goddesses
An Ultima blade that looks like Noct's Engine blade... neat
Imagine killing a God gave i just 1k xp and 200 gold jesus
im surprised anubis didnt think bayek was his son considering his armour looks like him
ubisoft 2007:"we removed the crossbow from the game because there was not crossbows in the11th centerie"
ubisoft 2017:"god fight"
Imagine getting pissy over a glitch in the system lmao get lost
The new god of war looks fantastic!!
Nasus is that you
Boren Jame the first one is renekton
Lol Comment Section...
Boren Jame with a lot of Stacks weg
It's Nasus' retarded cousin, he Ascended beyond the normal Ascension but lost all capability of thinking and thus, forgot to bring his 1000+ stacks D CANE in this game
and Renekton lol
is this an assasin?
is this an war game?
.
.
.
.
.
no,this is a dark soul :D
:v Nasus and renekton. R.I.P Assassin's Creed :(
They could've done so much with the bosses. All the bosses are the same strategy, shoot the chest until it dies. I would love to see Sobek's fight be in the water.
Jacob PL thank you. I understand Anubis being huge, she's one of the more important gods, but the other two should've been the size of a dark souls boss
Anubis is not a fucking she
HybridHD *he's. don't get pissed off
Jacob PL Anubis did send mummies if you look at the minions carefully
This is ASSASSIN'S CREED?.
thank you so much cus I was confesed when I was playing my game
I mean the game looks awesome and all, but it feels nothing like Assassins Creed.
Heres a tip use composite bow its health on hit light bow if u do not have it just use a sword or any melee weapon with health on hit use it when the god spawns his henchmen
