- Behind the scenes of Evil Cooks at Smorgasburg in Los Angeles. This husband and wife heavy metal-themed taco stand is famous for their “Goth Trompo '' which is octopus smothered in Recado Negro, a Mayan black sauce, then spit grilled. It’s a secret family recipe that has been passed down through generations and is also used for their al pastor and carne asada. Have you ever seen tacos done this way? Which taco would you try first? Let us know in the comments!

Is Recado negro family recipe? A lot Mexicans travel to Mexico and still ideas from street vendors. Recado negro is well known in Yucatán peninsula
Omg I'm hungry that looks amazing
Kinda hard for it to be appetizing when it looks like the meat came out of the hole it's supposed to come out of after you eat it
Octopus tacos, never had that...I love octopus, I've had Octopus tostadas with imitation crab meat with chopped avocados, cilantro and salsa that were mad good, but not that.
On the Pacific coast this is real popular.
Mazatlán to Manzanillo I’ve eaten octopus tacos.
Bomb ❤️ 💣
Yes it was! Thank you for watching Jenny! 🙌🙌🙌

??
Nope. Gimmicky. Don't like the way they do things at all.
Goes to show anyone can just throw meat on the grill and make a mess, sad how the true tacos generation is being lost !
If this stuff make the meat black imagine the ways it leave you intestines. 🙅♂️
