Hello, I do not know this facility but they do have endoscopy and I have experienced endoscopy. Endoscopy practice tends to be the same in an country. So: - My first was as a child. Children are given a drug to make them sleep so it is painless. - When I had one at 22 I thought I would be fine with no medicine. It didn't hurt but I was afraid and very uncomfortable. They then gave sedation to make me relaxed and drowsy. It works great for most people but not for me. The nurses helped by holding my hands and comforting me. - When I needed endoscopy in 2018, I explained to my doctor what happened when sedation didn't work. She arranged a combination of drugs to try as well as throat spray. It made me unafraid too and it was soo easy. It is a very short procedure, not painful just uncomfortable and most other patients were fine without having any sedation. If you have worries, talk to your doctor and nurses and they should help.
