Absolutely delicious. I love how unpretentious your recipes are. So rich, nutritious and simple. My daughter loves all your recipes. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.
Watched this video yesterday when I had a fridge full of veggies but no energy to cook, and made it tonight, subbing orange peppers for mushrooms, and quinoa for 1/2 of rice. It was easy and delicious. Now I have a manageable veggie bin, lots of energy and almost no dishes to wash! Victory! Thank you so much for another healthful and delicious recipe and another tearable pun!
I've been randomly changing my keyboard background image to different foods and I couldn't resist taking a screenshot of your adora-bowl for a new background, so delicious looking! Thank you again for all of your efforts and work to share these amazing recipes. Always be happy and well!
I'm a relative newcomer to your channel but it has very rapidly become my favorite. The 'cinematography'(?) is exceptional and I only *wish* my HOA allowed me to have nice gas stoves like yours! This ceramic cooktop stuff doesn't do it for me. Thanks again for making everything so calm, attractive, easy, and delicious. I've made several of your recipes in the short time I've followed you and they have all been wonderful.
Great recipe! The crispy, crunchy rice at the bottom of the stone bowl is the best part of bibimbap for me. If you could find a way to duplicate that, it would awesome!
The not perfect but passable way I do it is to put a little oil in the bottom of a frying pan (usually sesame for the added flavour, but whatever you like), put the rice in when it's hot and press it down so it's flat rather than heaped, then let it cook until it starts to crisp the rice on the bottom. Try not to stir it while it's crisping up and then you can either stir it so the crispiness goes through the rice or try to flip it so you can get even more crispy bits. I don't know. Someone else probably has a better idea, but I generally already have the frying pan out for other parts of the dish so this is my don't dirty anymore dishes method.
I do oven tray cooking using eggplant, squash, yellow and green pepper, cherry tomatoes and one red onion. As a base i use buckwheat, sometimes I add a piece of stewed meat on the side. Yummy 😋 I am not very good at sauces. The one in the store can have glutomate sodium. Thanks for sharing.
I totally appreciate how you make cooking approachable and simple yet delicious! Made this tonight (sub'd broccolini with stir-fried snow pea leaves) - my two fussy kids ATE IT UP! This is going to be on my week-day go-to!
Love this - more of a template than a recipe. I might try this with an Adobo based sauce - gochujang doesn't work for my family. Would be good with quinoa instead of the rice also. thanks!
Wow you acknowledged my request. Thank you. I requested for a bibimbap recipe months ago and you said you will keep that in mind!!! You did!! Thank you. I sure will try
Hi Will, hey I noticed you never mention how many servings your recipes make. It looks like that large plate would serve two. If cooking for four do you think you could just double the recipe. May seem like an odd question but some ingredients just can’t be doubled when doubling a recipe. Thanks so much I really enjoy your videos.
Hew said two healthy portions, however, yes it looks like four to me, but I am not as young as Will nor do I have that big of appetite any longer so usually halve all of most recipes in order to have less left overs.
Bibimbap is one of my favourite dishes ever. I love this spin on it, especially cutting out a lot of work by using the oven 😆 I am definitely making this! I appreciate you 😊❤
What's the best way to clean and dry the mushrooms, and what are your top mushroom alternatives that are more readily available? Thanks. You help me have confidence that I can do this. Thank you so much for that.
YUM!!! SO easy and delicious looking! I'm not the best cook, but I'm sure I can make that! I have all the ingredients except for the oyster mushrooms, which I can get no problem! Thanks and love from Ontario, Canada
Love your recipes! I am going on a girls weekend in September and will be cooking for 10. Any recommendations from you on which of your recipes would be good to prepare for a crowd! Thank you!
Bibimbap was my favourite go-to meal when I lived in Korea. The raw egg frying on the side of the hot stone bowel as you mixed it made it a very unique dish. Looking forward to trying this vegan at-home version.
Delicious. One suggestion- can we use traditional rice ( unpolished / red rice ) . Wish you could incorporate traditional rice veg recepies often . We are able to source organic traditional rice here in india . Hope you also have a source to get it also . Thanks 🙏
Hi Yeung, I love watching your channel. Easy to cook food plus your being organized make cooking seem fun!! I really like the knife that you are using. May I know the made of it? Also is it a 7’ one? Hope to hear back from you! Thank you!! 😊
Thanks for your prompt reply. I just watched the one pan pasta. Well explained about the knife. Thank you! One more question, it is about the tofu that you like to press before cook. What kind of tofu is it? It seems much drier than the tofu that I bought from here. Just curious, which city are you from? Maybe they dont carry this kind of tofu in vancouver?
I made the vegetarian switch a couple years ago, but nothing has ever come close to my grandma’s cooking. That was until I tried a few of your recipes. Thank you!
You’re not vegan nor a professional chef? I’m shocked, you are a natural! Thank you for the tasty and beautiful videos! Do you have a channel featuring non-vegetarian dishes?
We’re on our third year of being Vegan. The health benefits of a Vegan health style have been a life changer for myself and my wife. But, Vegan eating had become boring and not very inspiring or satisfying, but necessary for the proven health benefits. That ALL CHANGED when I discovered your You Tube Channel! Your simple but fantastic recipes are enabling me to cook and immensely enjoying it. My daughter-in-law is now a big fan of your channel. Thank you so much for sharing and inspiring confidence in cooking great healthy meals. We have both your cookbooks.
Oh, i am loving baked veggies 😍 i would eat this even without rice 😁 will definitly Test this! Tomorrow i‘m near a Chinese store, there i will Look for the mushrooms 🥰 sadly i hate tomatos so i will take bellpeppers
Eric Kim with NYT Cooking introduced a sheet pan bibimbap very similar. My family and I love it so much we have it as a weekly meal. Excited to try out your version too with the chickpeas.
I am glad I am going to be able to use my container of gochujang sauce.lol I purchased it for a recipe and I didn't really like it so I never used it again. I'll try this dish just not with kimchi. Not a Kimchi fan but will definitely try it with everything else. Looks delicious 😋
Another wonderful recipe!!!! Thanks chef!!!!! Could u please confirm if the mushrooms and the pepper paste u mentioned r vegetarian??? My mom has a hard time believing mushrooms r vegetarian 😅
I never thought of doing Bibimbap this way. Great new spin to the dish. Thank you!! I have a question regarding measurement. You say 1 cup of this or the other in your recipes - is this an American cup or english? I live in Switzerland and here we use dl. And the english cup does vary from the American one. Thanks for clearing this one up for me. Oh and the Tofu Sticks made it to the weekly staple. When my Family was presented with the meal the first time the reaction to it went something like this: Oh this is delicious, must be from Yeung Man Cooking. Gratefully, your humble fan.
I love these recipes because they look just as good when you make it yourself. Normally when I follow a recipe it doesnt look anywhere near as good as the photo.
Hi Yeung!! Like always AMAZING and delicious. One question. Could please tell me how can I find the video making that sauce I didn't see it that video. Thank you!!👏😋😋🙏

OMG this looks UNBELIEVABLE!!! I love Bibimbap, but this makes me feel that I can make it. I adore the video and your descriptions! 🎉🎉🎉
My mouth is watering. You are a wizard in the kitchen. You take the most basic ingredients and put magic on them.
This looks delicious. I also like recipes where the oven does most of the work. I'm looking forward to making this. Thanks Wil.

Koreans typically don’t put Kimchee in ‘formal’ bibimbap, but we do add whatever leftover bibimbap, which then we do add kimchee. 😊😊
