Dude, this whole channel is amazing, but THIS one is thus far my absolute favorite. Doing this young woman’s original tune, and then such an epic sax duel - within her original song! Awesome to watch and listen to, and she’ll remember this to the end if her days!
Frankie, your channel is incredible. That double sax solo was one of the best things I've heard musically in a while - you could feel the joy and fun you two were having in every note! The harmonization of that lick around 7:37 was so satisfying. Then the transition of you guys battling in the altissimo register just before the rest of the band cuts out was an amazing thing to listen to. Then you began to play so softly and sweet, following and complimenting each other's phrases so well before building back up the energy... I literally cried from joy with the biggest grin on my face! This is exactly what I needed in my life right now and I appreciate it immensely. Genuinely inspiring stuff. Thank you so much. You're amazing, and you and Owen are both fantastic saxophone players!
Wowww thank you so much for this!! I’m really glad I could provide this during a needed time. I appreciate you watching and for the support🥺🙏🏻 Also, glad you get a kick out of the RuneScape censoring noise🙈🙏🏻
Man making music on the spot with people you've never played with before is the best feeling on earth, and this video really incapsulates that. That double sax solo is one of those very special moments that can be born from it. Great job with your playing my guy!
Ha. I‘ve been to many open mic nights. I‘ve jammed with a lot of famous musicians. We had a lot of fun, too. But this beats everything. Improv at it‘s finest. 💪😎🎷
I was so excited when you first mentioned Pitch meeting, as I've know about them for a while and have watched your videos for a long time now. This was probably my favorite video you've posted. Your musicality was amazing! So much fun to listen to/watch.
Great vid, your knowledge of the saxophone is remarkable. The fact your able to improvise at that high of a standard is amazing. I play the trombone and special moments such as the one you represented in this video are something that I cherish so much. Thanks for sharing this amazing moment with me :)
Eric Fortaleza on bass seems to know what he's doing, setting up some beautiful musical interactions and letting people express themselves. Owen and Frankie possibly need to think about playing together regularly, if possible, because they have the basis of an entertaining double act
Eric is absolutely the perfect musician to run this!! He knows exactly how to take the music to the right place at the right time. I hope Owen and I get to work together more!!
My man! Your playing has gotten SO clean. I've always been impressed, but this was such a treat. I never felt like you were out of control, everything felt so intentional and free - you've been grinding your ass off.
Yooo thank you so much this means a lot🥺🥺 been shedding hard and trying to fill the (many) holes in my playing. Nowhere near where I want to be but starting to see some progress!
Wow man that was amazing! Really inspiring hiw you interact with your fellow musicians both on and off stage. You two definetly brought the right amount of sas to the duet. The whole band rocked!
So in your dueling sax solos starting at 8:05, I was walking around the apartment, listening but not watching the video. Right at 9:30, when you guys are getting into it, I started doing that, like Bird Bob? You know when you just want to feel the music??? And when I walked over to see the video I got a *huge* smile on my face because I saw the two of you guys doing the *exact same thing*. Immaculate vibes. Keep it up.
This entire video was great. Not only were the sax improve solos great but the entire dynamics. I would have been terrified but that was so cool to see you handle this like a boss. I wonder how many other followers live our short lived or musical dreams through you and your posts? Wherever you go and who you play with it’s like you’re our sax guy!
I think I died and went to heaven and heard that sax duet. your vlogs are some of my favourite content, I've been watching your progress for something like a year and a half and I'm absolutely loving it. magical performance right here, holds all musicianship someone should strive for in my opinion
@FoolishFrankie interesting to watch as iv played hundreds of wedding gigs especially in the late 60's and throughout 70's and 80's...my late dad was a brilliant jazz pianist who sadly passed at the age of 42. Many of my younger and teen years was travelling and playing with him as well. I'm on YT playing with the Glenn Robinson swing band many years ago. Keep up with what you doing, it brings back great memories for me as well...Thank You.
Thank you so much 🥺 ironically it is wildly underperforming from a view metric compared to my other vids so trying not to feel down about it. I really appreciate you watching!
Wow, wow, wow. Man, I’ve got some tough stuff going on right now and I just wanted to say this: this beautiful piece of music that was spontaneously created gave me a sense of peace and restfulness. It was beautiful, and powerful, and so out of this world. Reminded me of Eric Marienthal and Brad Rambur playing Mercy, Mercy, Mercy.
I'm in Nashville a few times a year for gigs, gotta check this out, thanks man! (BTW, just purchased an F tin whistle for the Call Me Al solo, thanks for that info as well). I'm probably twice your age but still learning even as a pro since 1990.
Music is expressing one's depth of heart and you could clearly see that in the saxophonists. Some people can't play without a damn music sheet. Bravoooo 🎉🎉
Great job! You now certainly understand why Nashville is called Music City. It extends far beyond the expectations of country three chord songs. Lots of generous musicians of all types and you showed up like a champ. Hurry back! Think about becoming a full time Nashvillian, but save your money for some outrageous rent prices. You would do well here. Great to see your growth and experience paying off.
Definitely! Thanks for the kind words. I’ve been trying to visit once a month to get a feel for the city but have definitely been thinking about making the move. I appreciate you watching!
dude this was awesome!! i felt that adrenaline after the sax solo once you went back to your spot in my body just watching haha. what a feeling. incredible playing!
LOL I took a lesson with him a few months ago but I’ve been obsessed with his playing for years. It’s just now starting to seep into my playing which is exciting. Thanks for watching🙏🏻🙏🏻
1) amazing solo 2) I wish i could find the name of her song - it isn't among her 5 songs she has out on Spotify, must be something new that she hasn't recorded yet

LOL😂🙏🏻
Yup...And it's on FIRE!..🎷🔥
I have never seen improv done like that, and that was awesome. I would love to see something like that in person, very well done.
Thank you so much 🙏🏻🙏🏻
It’s truly one of the most inspiring things to do as a musician.
bro, you guys both getting called up made me feel the adrenaline of being on stage wow
Ngl I had a brief moment of panic😂
@@FoolishFrankieno need to, u are awesome, the work and the passion u put in the music is way worth it, thank you for sharing us those videos.
The moment when you guys started harmonizing at 7:37 was INSANE!!
I don’t even know how that happened I kind of blacked out during this😂 thank you!!
@@FoolishFrankie That blacked out flow state is what we strive for! When you almost shut your brain off and just let your body do the talking

You can do it!!
Dood - your sax solo duet gave me chills! This is ridiculous scary playing music you've never heard before! Applause and props!

btw on a complete side note; the way you censor swear words with Runescape noises is unique and genius and it makes me chuckle every time :)
