Looks cool, but if this was less “mobile game” and more fleshed out it could’ve been something really special. Would’ve been nice if it was a worthy follow-up to the PS2/Gamecube era SpyHunter game, which was great.
The thing that kills it for me is that characters are constantly breaking in to talk to you. I was hoping to pick it up on sale, but these constant interruptions while I'm trying to play will drive me crazy.
Getting some PS2 era Spyhunter vibes. Was one of my favorites on the system and I really like the arts style as well. Ill definitely add it to the wishlist and hope for a sale 👍
I quite like the look of this. Would be nice to have more control, more choice but the sort of game most can pick up and just PLAY! Hope it's cheap or will have to wait till a sale.
Holding on to that cash, friend. Thanks for the review. I just got Spy Hunter for Vita two days ago for the third time due to this game coming out and I can't stand the graphics in Agent Intercept. I am also a huge 007 fan and this game has nothing on James Bond style-wise. But I agree with your score and may pick it up on sale even though the whole idea of an isometric vehicular combat game disgusts me. When the realities of Indie heaven turns bad.
The old Spy Hunter arcade game was the same thing. It's a big linear road that turns into a river and you repeatedly shoot and fight the same enemies. Was still fun arcade action.
It seems a good game. It reminds me Rock'n Roll Racing from SNES.

Reminds me of spyhunter. Might have to snag this

It looks so so much better now on iPhone
i love the idea of this game and it looks amazing, but given your feedback, I think I'll wait until a sale.

I'll probably wait for a sale.
The camera angle looks awkward. The game seems decent though.
Will wait until it goes on sale
I'll wait for a $10 or under sale before picking it up. Don't know the cost but it's way too simplistic to pay any more than that.
Looks super fun! Thanks for the review
Before watching the video, I hope this is good!
Any sale on this and I'll buy it. There, I said it.
Spy Hunter 2023
Goldeneye still the best James bond movie ever. I will fight you if you disagree!
Mmm. Not for me this one. Thanks for the review Alex. 😊
The vehicle movement is way too unrealistic for me, even more so than the Crusin' series. I am sure it will appeal to some, I am just not one of them.
Got it with my points on xbox. It's really good
An updated version of the old spy hunter on nes. Looks good.

Isn't Claw the bad guy organization in dr gadget
The minor stuttering isn’t really a problem, I’m assuming the switch is struggling with this game “The enemy count is often ridiculous.”
Nothing too crazy in it though considering it was made for iPhones originally
The lack of personal control worries me
I will wait until I see it for 1.99
It's actually 30 FPS docked or handheld but otherwise great and fair review, cheers.
I would gladly wait for a sale if that shadow/lod pop-in wasn't so distracting.
Jimmy Adhesive
Does it have motion control ?
