    Great vid Shane. Good to also seeing a pro like you set a good example and padding up from time to time, helps to keep newbies like myself safe 😅

    Most helpful videos, Shane. Showing instead of talking. And videos that actually clearly show the act of motion instead of looking fancy or just make the actor look good. Great job! And great body control! One can clearly see how you transfer the energy.

    Amazing tutorial! All your videos are superb, very well done!
    I'd like to add to look where you're going too as a tip, your body tends to go where you're looking. That is the main tip that helped me to kick turn especially on steep inclines like bowls or pipes.

    Wow, the body rotation and that quick carve back is amazing and seems unique to Surfskate and its unique design to make those u turn on the fly..., I don't see it ever performed like that on a skate board (I assume its really difficult with that equipment)

    Hi Shane, love your videos! Wondering if you could post what kind of trucks and wheels you’re riding in this one and others? Saw one of your previous ones about front & backside coping attacks- there you rode an Indy truck in the back and carver truck up front. Is that your favorite for parks and getting up to the coping? Thanks again for spreading the stoke!!

    Thank you Shane. I see you use Carver C7 for this vid, have you ever tried Smoothstar or Yow meraki in a bowl? Is there any difference? I found it quite hard to stay on the board when I tried my SM77 in bowls and pump tracks.

    Hey Shane. What kind of wheels are you using? I have a carver Proteus with Carver Roundhouse wheels but when I skate in the park they feel kind of mushy.. just interested in what you use.

    Hey Shane where in Melbourne is this bowl?

  • @c4libre
    @c4libre 2 года назад

    Hey Shane, is the concave on the carver super slab identical to the concave of the black tip? I'm looking to buy the black tip for bowl riding, however it is sold out everywhere here in europe and I was wondering if the super slab, or super surfer feature the same concave

    • @shanelai2515
      @shanelai2515  2 года назад

      Yes. Same mold.
      Super slab has a wider tail compared to the black tip and is wider than super surfer if you are looking for a nice wide surface area

    • @c4libre
      @c4libre 2 года назад

      @@shanelai2515 wow that was fast, thanks :D really considering the super slab, since im US 10.5 foot size and I really dig 10 inch boards. What would you say is your favorite deck for bowls and skate parks? I'm on the Bolsa right now, but I think it could be wider and I pretty much hate the front wheel flairs, because I happen to stand right on them with my perferred stance width. Much appreciated, mate!

    • @shanelai2515
      @shanelai2515  2 года назад

      @@c4libre the super slab is my go-to for parks and bowls. You might change the wheels for faster acceleration though. I use OJ super juice wheels. The bolsa is too short for me and the wheel flair is really uncomfortable.

    Hey Shane
    As usual this is amazing and you have an incredible technic.
    I just have a question, does the lines you are using are those you usually have , or are they only for the tutorial?
    Do you recommend them or do you think there s another way for playing in the bowl ?

    • @shanelai2515
      @shanelai2515  3 года назад

      by lines you mean trajectories ? they are simple lines use to teach.
      With surfskate, you have a lot more freedom to explore new lines
