    I'm a little less than a year into bjj. There's a new guy at my gym who has started doing private lessons once a week. My professor asks what I'm doing after class and if I'll stay and help him with a private lesson. He's been working escapes, and it's really helped me a lot. I know how lucky I am.

    My instructor himself suggested this tactic. Problem is it’s really hard to find other dudes that are cool with learning a expensive martial arts that require wrapping your crotch and arms around another human being 😂
