70 years old danish built dragline, Pedershaab PM1A moving again after more than 45 years, ready for transport.
It was abandoned because the engine broke (45 years ago) they replaced the engine, and used all their weekends in the summer 2020 before it was ready to move.
The engine in it now, is smaller than the original, so it will replaced again.
Normally you can steer the tracks from the operatorstation with a wheel, but it's a little rusty.
Watch the transport in part 2.

Thanks for sharing this video. I like seeing these old beauties run.
It's nice to see the old devil running with such a sweet sound .
Honestly that is really awesome. I like how old construction equipment looks
You need people who are 'familiar' with these machines in order to get them working again, - wonderful job well done. There are a number of 'MENCK' machines preserved, - OK they're German, but this is the first time I have come across this make. I look forward to seeing it restored.
That is a smooth sounding motor!
Superb old machine ! 👍
Well done men, great job. I love to see old machines get rescued. Regards from the UK 👍🇬🇧👋
WOW!That was EPIC! Nice job gentlemen! This was a time in the day when a Operator and a Oiler both worked to keep that s machine running in top shape
I love old equipment. It was made to last .
This is by far one of the best videos on U-tube. Thanks for sharing it with us!!!
Thank you, very much 🙂
Amazing stuff... Iove those machines since I was a kid...
A great bit of video . Thanks for posting. The engine sounded great and I suddenly realised it was a Lister FR diesel ( FR4 ?) , the same range as I had in my old Barford Perkins Q6 road roller. My FR3 engine was installed in the BP in 1950 so about the same age as this wonderful dragline.
You're right about the engine, it is a FR4 🙂
@@henrikgandrup Thank you Henrik. If you wish to se my Lister in action you can see my roller first move in decades on RUclips here.
"1928 Barford Perkins Q6 Tandem Road Roller 1."
keep well and best of luck with your excellent work.
For all those who are impressed with how well the engine runs. If you read the Danish introduction it explains that the original engine was missing. This is a replacement.
That's right, it was abandoned because the engine broke 45 years ago. The engine in it now, is smaller than the originally, and will be replaced again
I like that in your country old machines give a new life, in Russia where I live old machines go to scrap.
Nice mercedes 306d pick up love it!
Old stuff means good stuff.
How beautiful its runs .safe him .
Please show more from the F_35!
My father had a F_28 LWB high top van in the early 70ies, loved it!
Great job on the crane!
:-D
Two mature guy's sorting it out. Admire them greatly.
Best Reegarts from Berlin 👍🍺
This engine sounds like Messerchmitt or Junkers aircraft engines. Amazing that is still working. Crazy.....
The engine was replaced, before they could move it - it's a Lister FR4
other engine...

Jonathan W is trying to salvage one out of the bush .....in America lol 🇨🇦 look him up Jonathan W
It is not in the description of the video, but, that old engine sounds like a diesel, and how nice it sounds when it regulates (idle) ⭐
Never count something out just because it’s old
kicking ass
I am 61 years old, which is older than me...

Tks Mr Pedershaab
I've got a 1927 10B Bucyrus with all the attachments. I sold it 10 years ago the guy never picked it up.
It still at your place waiting sir?
I pulled it to city yard next to my house. Still there. I just moved away a month ago. I'll take loader and couple trucks down this winter and move it again. I should call guy who bought it. Give him his money back or have him come get it. It's in Marysvale Utah. I should put it on RUclips. I had 3 of them. Hell of a thing to collect.
superbe pierrot paris
Me gusta
Looks like a Lister FR 4-cylinder engine in it
And you are right about that 👍
Those spiders are gonna be pissed!
this i not a old dragline, is a mature dragline.

Now that it is running what do you intend to do with it? Certainly not able to be put back into regular service. Perhaps a museum or just trying to get it closer to a cutting torch. It is interesting that you were able to get it to run. Good job.
Drive to Bruxelles and make an end to the COVID scam with it. That would be nice.

It was, but the wheel at the operaterstation was a bit rusty, after 45 years. That's why they had to do it, the old fashion way
@@henrikgandrup it is so excited Dank you
Mvh. Mikael

I guess no one in Denmark made a suitable engine?
😲😲😲
hi, where are you from, what language do you speak, I speak french I'm from Quebec, what are you going to do with this crane? bye
It's Danish. Use Google translate to figure this out.
