'Rich folks in a bubble': No Labels continues to fuel third-party election tensions

- No Labels has announced its ballot access in 18 states, signaling potential disruption in the upcoming election. Despite facing rejections from prospective candidates, the move has prompted Democratic concerns about a third-party candidate tilting the election. The DNC is assembling a legal team to counter this emerging threat, particularly in key states. The Bulwark's Tim Miller joins Way Too Early to highlight the uncertain impact of third-party candidates on voter preferences, particularly amid varied voter discontent with established candidates.

'Rich folks in a bubble': No Labels continues to fuel third-party election tensions
#NoLabels #Election #Politics
"When ya can't win fairly, create a gimmick" ('The definition of 'No Labels')
If they were really about centrism and moderation as values, and running actual primaries, maybe hear them out.
But they're not advocating moderation as a principle. They think politicians shouldn't even pretend at having any principles that might get in the way of serving the billionaires - and their candidate will be appointed by those billionaires, not chosen in a primary.
Good point ! Thanks for your comment
No Labels should just come right out and say they want Trump to win.
Disgruntled , Americans want Trump to win 🏆!!!!!!!
You clowns really think of someone is against Biden that they are for trump
No Labels= An organization with any organization
@@SurprisedCroissant-lm2ct A small portion of Americans want DJT to win-rest of us have much more sense and not so dense.
The majority voted for Trump in 2020.
I thought it was supposed to 'cause chaos' if a candidate was on the ballot in one state but not another, according to SCOTUS.
How is it possible, then, that 20 states can put another candidate on the ballot when they aren't on the ballot in a bunch of other states?
bobagorof: Thank you for pointing out that this Court is anything but consistent when it comes to rulings affecting Trump. Cenk Uygur (for whom I personally have little use, but who should be treated no different from Trump) was not allowed on the Nevada primary ballot, because his candidacy would violate the constitutional qualifications for president, in his case, American nationality at birth. I suppose any state, without consulting with the Supine, I mean Supreme Court, would bar, say, the very popular Justin Bieber from the ballot because he's only 29 and also was not born an American citizen. But Donald Trump can violate Section 3 of Amendment and stay on the ballot in every state, without even having to prove his popularity in places like NY, HI, DE, RI, etc. by gathering signatures, just as Biden doesn't have to, because, because, because why?
Because the Court did not want to have to decide if Trump engaged in or abetted an insurrection before, during and after January 6, 2021. In other words, they intentionally skirted the heart of the matter, which is whether or not he is qualified to run for president any more than Uygur or Bieber is.
Thanks loads, esteemed Justices.
These rules only apply to the uniparty.
The Supremely Corrupt supreme court is full of 💩. Hope this helps. 🤠
Harlan Crow (SCotUS' Justice Clarance Thomas' very generous "friend") has donated to No Labels.

As a third party voter, I hear this every election. Biden is terrible and I'm not going to vote for him.

If any third party wants my vote, they'll start with smaller elections: house elections, mayors, municipal governments, etc...
Running for president without holding any other offices is like showing up to the final exam when you have no idea what the class was.

Master Say No Big Cheeto!
This is going to be devastating for our Democrat party, and for the Biden administration. A lot of the discontent that average Democrats have, has to do with the Biden economy and our open border policy in which tens of thousands of foreign nationals stream into the country unhindered and in violation of our immigration laws. Many of these Democrats do not want to vote Republican or for Trump and they are looking for alternatives. This third-party gives them that opportunity.
No it doesn't.
Until the US implements _single transferable voting,_ a third party vote is the same as flushing your vote down the toilet.
@@massimookissed1023 No, it isn't. Voting third party enables you to express your actual preference. It's recorded, it's a number that you can point to and it affects the behavior of politicians. That isn't the same as flushing it down the toilet.
@Nanofuture87 And you can do that with _single transferrable voting_ with the added benefit that your vote ends up going to your 2nd or 3rd choice instead of being wasted.
Until the US gets _STV_ voting 3rd party is pointless.
@@massimookissed1023I agree that a different voting method would be superior, but the claim that voting third party is pointless under the current system is false. If anything, continuing to vote for the duopoly is what's truly pointless.
