- The Florida Supreme Court has allowed a 15-week abortion ban to stand. It has also allowed Florida voters the opportunity to overrule that decision by approving a November ballot initiative establishing abortion as a right until "viability." Republican Florida Senator Rick Scott will be on the ballot in November, and given this news, he will face a challenging path to re-election. Former Rep. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell of Florida, who is running to replace Rick Scott in the U.S. Senate, joins Joy Reid.

You know then we ought to be talking to our gynecologist that will not let women that know they don't want children early on? have there are tubes tied when they're in their early twenties. Rick was horrible. When Obama had the extra weeks for unemployment Rick made filing computerized. If the state unemployment fell below a certain percentage they didn't have to pay the extra weeks. Hundreds of thousands fell off the count because he rolled that out and trained no one on the program. The web site crashed as hundreds stood in line outside the office wanting help that never came.

The behaviour of certain officials in USA goes against the very idea of conservatism where individuals lives are not interfered with. As someone here in UK, i cannot believe how far some in republican party have gone so far away from the philosophy of conservatism. I tend to conservative in England, but have never seen such an extreme position on reproductive rights being implemented such as this. Hopefully some sanity will prevail and consensus that is fair can be reached
