AD Let’s talk period shaming with my brother | Always #RethinkYourReaction
I sat down with my brother to discuss period shaming and my personal experience growing up, as well as his perspective on the topic. I really hope this encourages you to have similar conversations at home if you feel comfortable and help to start normalising periods!
You guys are so pretty
Loved this video Farah, I agree this is a huge topic thats still taboo, having three brothers ramadan has always been hard. Having your brother in the video was a great way to show how men lack the education and its not their fault, how would they know if we're always told to hide it from them. Its great that you are raising awarness esspecially as a south asian we all know the stigma around south asians and periods. Now that your brother knows more im sure your little sister and his future daughters will have a better experience than we did. We need to be the change we want to see in the world ❤️
so glad you liked it! totally agree with you, there's definitely so much work to be done but hopefully our generation can be the change!
Kuddos to your brother for being so understanding 🙌🏻
ok love this video but also prettiest pair of siblings ever
aw so kind thank you!
The stigma real I got more informed after watching a movie Called "Padman" but it's true Sex Ed need to be more updates so both genders are aware of these things Education is Key but thank you Farah for being open and upfront 🙏
thanks for sharing! so glad you liked the video
Unrelated, but you brother is beautiful 😍
Hes so gorgeous right lol
I really loved this video you both are so pretty💞 Also are u Arab
aww thanks! no we're not :)
im so glad i came accross this. i have two girls and a boy. both my girls have periods now and my son is aware of most of the things his sisters go through. but that was mailnly on the strenghth of my husband never being taboo about it. rani, my oldest has siimiler problems to you and a hot water bottle and a blanket from her dad was his way of sayung "i get it". now my son does the same thing. pads and tampons are a normal thing in our household#what im trying to say is that its an everyday thing in our household. somebody is always on her period at some point.
it needs to be normalised.
i showed your vid to my son and my girls togather and nobody batted an eyelid. i wish it were same in every house.
thanks again
Goes against the haya factor in Islam that's the problem.
Cute😊
How old is your brother?
