Ozrics! I had the honour of Meeting Ed at a Hwkwind gig a few years back. Nobody noticed him but me, standnig quietly in an alcove at the Academy in Manchester. What a dude. This is the schizzle, and reminds me why I am a musician.
seen these a few times and they are out there...been a fan for long time and love em...excellent track and it does make you feel like yr on a mushy trip lol
Ozrics and beer is all you really need. You'll probably fall over, but the cool colours and groovy sounds are worth it... mmm it tastes of purple flake.
exceptionally well done!!!magic mushroom journey begins here, come aboard the ship my brothers an sisters we are gonna embark upon an epic journey into love!!!
a "duicy" little number is "sploosh"! i used to thrash my mountain bike, with the personal stereo blasting this number! it makes the saliva rush up your throat! classic ozrics, fabadoozeeeeeeeeee!!!
its like shpongle had a baby with perpetual groove, and the baby imploded into trillions of stars and galaxies and basically formed what we know today as reality.
They are really good. I love the synth work - very rarely the synths sound so much part of the music anymore - this band's sound is actually based on synth driving the rhytm and base line. Phenomenal taste in choice of sound colors. The only band that I remember who depended so heavily on synths and keys and still sounded very natural was Polish SBB (SBB 3, Slovenian Girls, Welcome, Follow My Dream, their four top albums). This is really, really good stuff...
@morphic2008 I actually have that song "strangeitude " in my videos! Wehen I saw Ozric live, they played this song, "Sploosh" and everyone said SPLOOSH!!!!!" before they started to play the song during the *water-spashing* sounds, lol. :)
Why from 1:15 to 1:50 there's the Tangent "A place in the queue" cover CD? Anyhow, Sploosh! is one of their best song. Ozric rulez!!! Good video! thumb up!
Could someone please recommend me more of these...aaaciiiid bands? But I don't mean Fractal or Lincoln St Exit...I mean bands that still do play and create "present" music...so anyone knows about some?

Wow great track, luv this group! Excellent grooves!
Saw them in Whelan's in Dublin this year. Small crowd too, and their lightshow got left on the boat over. Real shame. Still, it was great.
Very special..love it!

Don't you mean 'it's like Ozrics had a baby'? Shpongle formed in 1996, this song came out in '93.
