Super straight sounds like something a little kid would say after a kid called him gay.
"Youre gay haha"
"IM NOT GAY IM SUPER STRAIGHT"
pretty sure most kids in the 90s did that, just like how kids would accuse one another of loving the black kid in the 70s
@@billieeisenhower406 Just shows how conservatives are just kids who never grew up.

@@billieeisenhower406 right! I grew up during the phase where anything "uncool or lame" was "that's gay!!!" Without any thought of what it even meant. Difference is I grew up and moved on.

Not wanting to date a transwoman isn't transphobic. Saying it's because she's not 'real woman' is the transphobia.

@teflontelefon The "truth"? Please define your truth sir.
my thing is why does a transwomen beat my perception of them
@teflontelefon no, it isn't. Treating them bad is saying to their faces that they aren't real women.
@@juggmane3k830 It's not about your perception of them. In society we have roles that we expect of the opposite gender. In these terms, men and women are catergories.
This does not mean there are no biological males or females, there are.. But there are also transmen and transwomen too.
Biological females and those whom identify as females, are ALL women. Just because one type of woman is socially constructed while the other is biologically so, doesn't mean one is more illegitimate than the other.
Woman is this sense is an umbrella that has both of these types of women underneath them.
Being a different kind of woman, doesn't make you an illegitimate one. All women are different and built differently after all.

Super straight is cringe but I'm just not attracted to trans women.
“As a general rule, trans women are incredibly careful when it comes to their dating and sex life.”
My trans friend is super private and doesn’t really show her sexuality at all. It’s sad that she feels like she can’t express it, hopefully she can feel more comfortable with it after she transitions
@Yeetus debeetus Yes.
She.
@Yeetus debeetus yes, she
@Hawra Ahmed hi!
there will always be ambiguity around to what degree people's preferences are influenced by their socialization or environment.
if you are raised in a conservative muslim environment where women are praised for their modesty when they cover themselves, it's much more likely that you'll interpret covering oneself as a form of modesty. if you carry this onward without questioning it, you'll be adopting something.
AND the conception of a private sexual life as "modest" is another artifact of perception.
to uncover oneself can be humbling and leave you vulnerable. this requires courage, and can instill a sense of intimacy with any other present.
it can also be exhilarating and exuberant.
the differences between cultural influences and personal preferences are really really complicated and not mutually exclusive, and it's valuable to reflect on them, as Vaush says in this video.
i am a physically modest person, by the framework you mention above. i wear a lot of clothing and i like to cover my face when im able to.
but i am not a secretive person about my sexuality. i am very openly perverted. i like pornography. i like hentai, and im into some weird fetishes too (terato, breeding, power games, exhibition/voyeurism, etc), which i feel no shame in detailing. all this despite my sexual interests in practical, real life being limited exclusively to people in my social circles . . .
humans are complicated lol
it's okay to recognize our cultural influences and question them, and it's not problematic to point out that our environments can instill in us troublesome personal beliefs. my affection for the above fetishes probably have a relationship to my place in the world as ive grown and developed into an adult, my relationships to power, and my feelings about otherness and abandonment resulting from my original status as an adopted child. by the way, those experiences probably influence my physical modesty as well.
and all of that is preference.
i dont think youre wrong that physical modesty doesnt have to be a result of oppression, but also, the OP just said that they think it's sad their friend doesnt express herself, not that she is oppressed or anything like that.
anyway that's all i got. have a good one!
That’s not necessarily the case. Yes, not being sexually overt doesn’t immediately equate oppression. But in this example, we’re talking about a persons friend who could’ve straight up told them “I can’t express my sexuality because I’m made to feel uncomfortable when I do so”
@Yeetus debeetus Wrong.
conservatives: wtf these gay "people" are making their own sexual preferences
also conservatives: i am super straight which means im straight but with extra steps
@Aryan Nationalist Ah yes, the tiny group of randos on Twitter who have that narrative. Ignore them. Date whoever you want.
Yup, it’s also hilarious that all conservatives pretend that it’s because trans people call them transphobic when they don’t want to have sex with them. And then fail to produce any examples of this being a large-scale belief within the LGBTQ+ community... because it isn’t. When I used to be on Reddit, trolls would try to get the LGBTQ+ community to say this all the time, but instead they would be called out for making shit up. Conservatives don’t know/care about the actual positions of their opponents, they prefer to strawman and convince themselves that their lies are true. No, trans people don’t call you transphobic for not dating them and yes, you lost the election.
Retyping this because for some reason it got deleted... curse RUclips!
@teflontelefon well, their is a 99% percent chance it won’t happen to someone even if they are that, so your argument is .. . Wrong
@teflontelefon You got a source on that? Any data for how often it happens? Reputable anecdotes that aren't "This happened to a friend's cousin's roommate's brother-in-law" or from some anonymous online account?

For those who need to see this, there’s nothing wrong with having a genital preference. You can not date trans people if you don’t want to. But imagine making an entire sexuality just to exclude someone.
Edit: And before you say "yeah well that's what being gay is lolololol", the point of being gay means attracted to the same gender/sex; the emphasis is on that, not excluding the opposite. "Superstraight" focuses on excluding trans people, and even implies that it's "more straight" to not date them

The whole super-straight thing is so stupid. When i say "i'm a hetero guy and i'm attracted to women" this doesn't literally mean "i'm attracted to every single woman"... Everyone has preferences in terms of personality, body type, facial features, style and also genitalia...
It's completely fine to not be attracted to women who are trans or black, fat, tall, disabled, blonde or whatever... just don't parade this around as your identity... whether they're part of a marginalized group or not, nobody needs to know that you find them unattractive...
Exactly, you’re can like or dislike whatever you want. The problem is when you feel the need to go out of your way to let people know that you DONT like them. If I see someone that I find unattractive at the grocery store I don’t feel the need to go up to them like “hey just want to let you know that I find you ugly and I’d never date you” 😂
@teflontelefon I don’t really give a shit what “super straight” is about. And I’m not an extreme leftists and don’t think any of those things about when people don’t like trans people, as I said in my comment with “you can like or dislike whatever you want”. So yeah I guess it was futile because it didn’t really show “my” hypocrisy. And it doesn’t reveal some hypocrisy because it’s built on a straw man. Gender and sexual orientations aren’t just “made up” on a whim, they’re documented phenomenon experienced by a wide variety of people. So to say it’s showing hypocrisy by “making up” an orientation is a faulty premise from the jump. Kind of like how it isn’t hypocrisy to say that transgender is real and transracial isn’t. One is a documented and studied thing by medical science and psychology, one isnt. So it isn’t really the 1 to 1 comparison that you think it is.
Ah, so that's what Super Straight is, going out of your way to let people know you won't fuck them.
@teflontelefon I don't get why people get so mad about the 72 genders thing. Gender is social, it's made up, there's as many genders as we want there to be. Like, does it also annoy you when people make up words? How many words are there?
these are people who typically don’t do anything unique or interesting in their lives so wondering why they’re like this is kind of a fruitless endeavor. these are the same people who spend half their income on a stucco cube in the suburbs and think theyre living the life

Hot trans women have been a thing forever.
A real problem here is that these people are not understanding what transphobia means: they think that to be transphobic you need to hate or grossly despise trans people, that denying the existence and the reality of trans people isn't transphobic. They don't think that saying a trans woman isn't a real woman is transphobic because that would be a matter of opinion, not fact, and because they are not stopping or trying to stop the existence of trans people, just choosing not to date them, because "trans" isn't "real". A lot of bad faith and gate goes around in these circles, but I really believe a lot more is created because of confusion and ignorance on many of them.
@teflontelefon What is a "real" woman? No matter how you define it there'll be plenty of women - assigned at birth, that literally everyone agrees are women - who don't fit your definition.
@teflontelefon People are born with both sets of genitalia, genitalia is not a valid definition of gender. People are born with bone structure or hormones that cause them to look different from their assigned gender, physical traits are not a valid definition of gender. There have been individuals with XY chromosomes who also were born with ovaries and a womb, and people with XX chromosomes who are barren, childbearing is not a valid definition of gender. Lets not even get into people born with XXY chromosomes. If none of these physiological elements can be reliably used to predict gender, then it's probably safe to assume that attempting to assign gender based off them is dumb. You are being anti-science and anti-reality, unless you can bring forth some better arguments.
@@Nofixdahdress Some of what you mentioned is however used to reliably determine sex on a daily basis. Gender encompasses sex.
No, they understand perfectly. What they want is for it to be socially acceptable to be bigoted. What they'll settle for is just not having to suffer the consequences of it, as long as they get to keep doing it. Hence the word games they play.

I don’t think that makes me transphobic, I think it’s a preference just like people who have a thing for blondes or brunettes or big butts.
There is a new term for this: superlesbian.
If you haven’t had any issues with trans women invading historically biologically female lesbian spaces, or with people calling you a transphobe for not being attracted to trans women then feel free to disregard this comment.
But if you have and its causes you distress, we have a place for you in the superlesbian movement.
'There is no cis person 100% passing' was the best comment ever!
To me, it seems more likely that the 'Superstraight' OP was being disingenuous about what exactly the pushback he got for say he wasn't attracted to trans women. It was probably like.. "I don't like trans women" What do you mean? "I'm not into dudes" Well.. they're not dudes. "To me they are" That's Transpobic...
Maybe the OP got a little bad pushback, but he was explicit with his bigotry. It isn't debatable.
Ever since a comment pointed out how much Vaush says “to be perfectly clear”, I’ve been miserable
I looked up the uteri transplant thing. It's INSANELY cool. There have been children born from a transplanted uteri in Cis women, and this has opened the possibility for uteri transplants for trans women in the future, but i don't think this has happened yet. But the fact that we're almost at a point where in the near future we could have trans women so identical to cis women that they could even bare children. Isn't that amazing? I f'ing love science.
cis chasers 👁👄👁
This is really funny bc I am lesbian and I will rather date a trans woman or non-binary person than a cis woman
So you are Skoliosexual?
I mean . . . I'm a trans woman just saying lol
I feel a lot of people get hung up on the "dating" or "sexy times" of the criticisms. No trans person wants to force another person into having sex with them.
I'm generalizing to mass majority, not the people who are clearly, no nuance, bad people.
The thing is, implicit biases aren't something we, as individuals, are aware of ourselves until we take the time to introspect on our ideas. It might be uncomfortable, and that discomfort tends to push us toward easy answers, but introspection is about dismantling those ingrained insecurities.
The thing about implicit biases and why this self questioning is important, is that they influence how we make decisions.
So, if you are unaware of being transphobic, but also turn around and say you don't want to have sex with a woman that transitioned, solely because of the fact she transitioned, then in what other ways are you implicitly acting on? In what reason are you rejecting the purely hypothetical fantasy of being with a trans person?
Once again, the answer has nothing to do with the question, it's not about dating or sex, it's about the "why" you responded in such a fashion, it's about what internal responses are triggering it.
This is something that really ought to be done for more things than just dating transpeople. Implicit biases influence a myriad of social issues, including why people are immediately inclined to defend systemic issues.
@JCB have you ever considered the possibility that you might be wrong?
I'm a cis girl who regularly plays male characters in theater because I have facial structure that is really easy to make appear more masculine or androgynous with a little makeup. I've worked with quite a few actors who can play multiple genders and are cis. I pass really well when I play male characters because of the way my body just is. People have diverse bodies. People who try to over analyze body types and facial structure to "catch" trans people are just stupid and reaching 99% of the time anyway
exact same logic used during slavery to justify "racial superiority" too
Super straight sounds like something Alex Jones would sell
Mayro is lit af. If she sees this post, that'd be rad.
Honestly, out of the super straight thing, I take time to feel bad for all the reactionary dupes that think this a legit thing and honestly can't fathom why it's receiving pushback. At the same time, I look down on them for being so fucking stupid. At least this vid and the Matt Walsh vid within help to pull back the curtain on it, so thanks for the segment, Ian.
that story about your trans friend reminded me of something.
I have a friend I've known for like 3 years now and due to some subject that got brought up he started talking about how he's sensitive because of having to face misogyny most of his life and then about being socialized feminine and I was like, legitimately I had no idea he was a trans man until that conversation.
These sjws making up imaginary sexualities like "super straight"
Just be gay like us NORMAL humans shaking my smh
Tik tok is so uncomfortable these days got especially trans women. The super straights™literally go around just attacking women for no other reason than because this trend gave them a green card. Oomf ended up in the psychiatrical apartment just by expressing her views
No one is gonna date all the trans people, or, say, all the British folk on earth. Like, i am just gonna date one person at a time. And, i won't decide to be attracted to them; I just will be. So, it seems pointless to make hard rules about not dating any entire culture group. I think it is part of this "always choose a team" crap that the internet has greatly exacerbated. If you feel like you'd probably never date brits or whatever, no one will likely ever know unless you go around pointlessly broadcasting it.
As a British trans person I feel attacked rn.
@@ellewilliams5162 haha, sorry!
Sometimes I get the feeling that some of these guys think that respect coincides with whether or not they are attracted to them.
Straight Prime? Straight Plus? Straight Series XX?

How about... StraightXL..

Fleshing out preferences, it's okay to have them (even genital preferences). It's only bigotry when the reason they have that preference is because they've internalized a stereotype about a group of people and that's the reason for said preference.
For people with healthy preferences, I like to say its okay to know what you like but be open-minded about it. It's not just to their benefit, but your own as well. Personally, had I stuck to what I thought was my "type," I'd have missed out on some of the best relationships of my life.
Dude looks like Gavin McInnes's son.
He's not? Damn would of fooled me
Gavin Mcinnes palette swap
I lowkey feel so bad for the dude who originally made this tick tock, like yea it was transphobic and he was wrong for that but at the same time, I feel like his opinions come more out of ignorance than anything. But now his face is being used everywhere and genuinely hateful people are using his joke to spread hate.
He looked old enough to know that if you put stuff on the internet, that's it, it's out there and you gotta live with the consequences.
I mean, no one forced him to post his dumb ass on the internet.... the internet is forever, anyone who's not prepared to face the consequences shouldn't record their face
I feel sorry for his mother, she got dragged into the stupid shit he created which affected her job
4chan is not even trying hard to dogwhistle by watching the initals of Superstraight KEKW
I was recently propositioned by a trans woman. I respectfully declined and wished her well, it's not that hard.
As a trans person, you are free to do so. It truly wasn't that hard. Just please for the love of god never consider that super straight bullshit.
@@jaidenthekid6051 oh, I don't. I was just acknowledging that their paranoia is not based on reality.
@@countjondi9672 Of course. I was just expressing myself.
"Oh God, bearded white guy with glasses"
Considering from whom this comes from... LOL
Well I guess it's a good thing, if someone claims to be "super straight" then they're letting you know that they're a bit of an ass and not worth speaking to. The real joke is them thinking trans women would even be interested in them. Like Vaush said, it's not exactly slim pickings out there, I should know ;)
I've not been single for about almost 6 years, but I doubt that's changed much.
It's OK to be normal.
🧔🏼
coming from a trans man:
genital preferences don't make you transphobic
not wanting to date trans ppl doesn't make you transphobic
_not respecting a trans person's gender is what makes you transphobic_
no one's forcing you to have sex with a trans woman, you just need to acknowledge that she's a woman
I don't think Kyle was joking about what he wants in a woman. He wants a biological female.
Vaush is right social movements need to be united. People are stronger together. That's why both the lgbtq+ movement and labor unions are so important.
In xqc's chat people were spamming it at one point and when other people were getting mad at them they just said "I guess being straight means that you are transphobic" and we couldn't do anything because the chat was too fast
@Yeetus debeetus go back to /pol
Or better yet, an educational institution.
Can people just say shit like "because I'm not into that." Instead of justifying why they're a terrible person.
I’ll play devils advocate to show you why it’s not that simple and what a lot of young people have to deal with.
So why are you not into trans women?
@@richie9878 I'm into trans people in general but I'll play along.
I would say "I'm not into trans women because they are not my preference, no disrespect to them. they are beautiful and someone's preference but just not for me."
@@Prometheus1464
Here is the game they play:
but are you into woman? If so why are you not into trans women are you saying that trans women are not women?? because trans women come in every shape size, hair color, ethnicity etc just like any other women. So any preference you have in woman can be found in trans women. So explain to me why you are into women but not trans women without sounding transphobic.
(It’s Actually an easy answer but it’s the whole reason super Straight is needed)
@@richie9878 it's kinda a dumb game if I have to fall for the trap of justify it as "because they're not women." If I'm not into fat women or women with small breasts I can justify it with I'm just not into it. Its a preference there could be a multitude of reasons or no reason at all. I would still respect them as women but not my type, I don't have to say "I'm super straight so I don't date trans women." It comes off as very rude and targeted. if you just say it's a personal preference who is to argue?
@@Prometheus1464 but are you saying there are not trans women that are not fat and with small breast? Any type you find in women you find in trans women so why are you even making that distinction unless you don’t see them as actual women. Which is transphobic.
Straight men aren't required to be willing to date trans women in order to not be transphobic, they just need to accept that they are real women. I'm not willing to date every woman on the planet because they aren't all my type.
If trans women aren't your type that's fine, keep moving. I'm sure they'll be just fine without you. You just shouldn't go on to justify that by claiming they aren't real women.
THANK you, you put it in a lot less words than I could’ve
“Maybe I’ll look into this guy a little more often” 💀
Shouldn't a Super Straight man be someone who is attracted to all women and not just a subset? Dunno guys, doesn't seem very straight to me to remove a slice of the straight pie like that.
Somewhat-straight
why use ‘very feminine’ while insulting someone, right after ‘very cowardly’? feminine isn’t an insult
I think Vaush was mocking him because he would definitely use “feminine” an insult.
Yeah, it was an ironic dig at guys like walsch
Vaush thank you so much for always sticking up for us it’s already hard enough being trans and dealing with gender dysphoria without all the bigotry and hate on top of it. Love yah
Bearded white guy with glasses looking at bearded white guy with glasses
Trans people are not offended if you are not interested. They only are offended if u treat them less then people who identify as their biologically assigned gender. It’s not that hard.....TRANS RIGHTS 😊
My friends on Facebook are actually using the term to mean you WOULD date trans women.
Basically: Yea, I'm SUPER straight. I'd date ALL women, not just cis women.
Guys, please do this. Imagine the tears. Do it for the con cucked tears! lol
I like that idea. It basically obscures the term until it's unusable, forcing people to choose between:
1: just talking about having a preference based on genitalia or whatever (this is fine, and is completely compatible with progressive views on gender), or,
2: outing themselves as transphobes from the start.
It basically denies people the opportunity of slipping into bigoted talking points from seemingly reasonable positions by forcing them to be honest about what they mean. Either that or it embarrasses people for trying to be transphobic in public, which is also a win.
a man is a man and a woman is a woman.
What am I?
I like these talks about introspection, if you could cover more topics with that kind of mind set I think it would really help me and others learn.
There’s nothing wrong with not being attracted to the idea of a woman with a penis. Just FYI, that in itself is not transphobic.
Its ok to have a genital preference but not ok to tell a trans woman that she's not a woman.
Well if you are doing it unprompted that would be weird but if you are specifically asked if you view trans women as women in the sexual context you can't get mad if people have a different world view than you.
@Kim Transphobic? not at all
Here is the definition of transphobia
trans·pho·bi·a
/ˌtranzˈfōbēə/
noun
"dislike of or prejudice against transsexual or transgender people."
I don't hold a prejudice or dislike of transgender people.
your world view to me is a rather radical and new idea to treat body dysphoria that way. I treat transgenderism like any other type of dysphoria. For example there are people that truly believe and identify as amputees even tho they have all there extremities because they have a type of body dysmorphia. I do not view them as actual amputees, but that does not mean I am phobic to people with that condition. For me this same logic applies to people with gender dysphoria.
