@TheAwakeStraight I don’t really think you know how biology or phycology works if you make a statement such as “pretending to be the opposite sex”. Also, you can do whatever you want. You don’t wanna date trans men or women, cool. But you don’t need a whole sexuality for something as little as a preference.
The only upside of "super straight" is if a man has it in their Tinder profile then you don't have to suffer through a date just to find out they suck!

Not wanting to date someone because you aren't sexually attracted to their, Idk, pre-transition genitals or whatever is fine in itself. You can't change how your body feels. But it's not a sexuality. It's a sexual preference.
So if you find out your gf is a trans and your dick doesn’t go up anymore...that’s your bodies natural preference saying not attracted” So it’s not transphobic to not date trans cause it’s a sexual preference.
@@leslieloren5573 if you just hate that he or she wasn’t the gender that they are now, it’s transphobic, but if they are pre-op and their genitals aren’t appealing to you, that shouldn’t be considered transphobic, but to each their own I guess
@@nihalnihal9356 not really much of a difference Sexuality is liking boys, girls and so on sexual preference is what you desire within that essentially. Dark men, thing women, tall men, fat women, long dicks, puffy coochie... Ironically they’re not all that different because it all ties to your preference of a living thing that turns you on . So men turn you on and men with brown hair really turn you on as an example to simplify it. Another example is say i women, that’s great but what specific kind kind of women is suited for my male part...let’s say curvy women and curvy women with big butts. So come to trans yes a trans person can have the outer appearance of a women or man and sometimes the made genitalia but there’s chromosomes involved in that xx and xy. So when speaking on someone who specifically likes women their not speaking to the word as it’s meant today as either a women born as xx or a woman who’s created as a woman after birth in outer appearance only ..they’re speaking to the liking of a person that carries chromosomes of xx. Same if a women preferred xy chromosomes she’s looking for a man but not the reconstructed man in trans. When someone distinctly says they don’t prefer the outer appearance of a woman but would rather the xx chromosomes that come with it, they are saying it’s “transphobic” because it’s judging the person based off their genitals to not be in a relationship with them. In reality it’s more judgment of chromosomes which isn’t a big deal because people can like and be and do as they please. Creating a whole new gender or having trans does not mean the world has to accept it as their partner. Think of you dumping a partner and someone asking why and demanding well “you can’t judge them because of that” when it’s your preference to no longer be with someone based on actions, personality and so on.
There’s a secret council that you have to get certified to sit on. The test is brutal, but there’s an awesome insurance plan for all members, so it’s pretty worth it
I now identify as “super pansexual.” It means I will date anyone except for people who are super straight. Edit: Since I keep getting comments missing the point, this is a joke about the idea of defining your sexual orientation around the people you DON’T want to date and how I think that’s silly. For a group of people who want all trans people to be okay with being explicitly and vocally excluded from your dating pools, a lot of you are bizarrely offended by a single person making a joke about not wanting to date you.
Unpopular ultra-leftist opinion trigger warning: as obnoxious and hateful as the people who invented the concept and coined the phrase "super straight" are it's actually a good idea that isn't inherently transohobic in and of itself, if you don't like penis then you don't like penis regardless of whether that penis is on a man or a trans women and it's just as valid for a guy to only be physically and romantically attracted to women who were born biologically female without a penis as it is for a lesbian to not be attracted to people who don't have a penis, and let me repeat my opening point for anyone who missed it: OBVIOUSLY the people who started this idea did it as a way of expressing their transphobia but that doesn't mean the idea itself is inherently transphobic or invalid

You can identify as any sexuality and still date/be attracted to trans people. Super straight is the only “sexuality” that is actively excluding trans people.
Gay men who publicly claim to only like cis men aren't even necessarily telling the truth... @mi pájaro me esta buscando lmao fr these ppl will literally combust when they find out there’s many trans ppl living life passing as their identified gender 😂
Tbh I have found trans women attractive, but I personally wouldn't date one. Can I even tell the difference at that point? No, but it's up to someone to be honest about who they are/ who they were. I guess we're in a weird time, socially, but I think it's dishonest to not be upfront about that after the first date or anytime before sex. Yes you can chose your own identity and change your gender, but your biological gender is important, because a large level of attraction and how we pick our partners is (in part) decided by how we're biologically attracted to someone. So even if you're past a full transition, if I'm with a girl and find out she's biologically a guy literally as we're about to have sex, I think that's dishonest of them. When I hit on who I perceive as a woman, and they also identify as that, sorry to get real so fast, but I assume they have a vagina. So without ever knowing that for sure, I take the hints I'm given, and assume that I would biologically be attracted to this person. Because I wouldn't be otherwise, I think their honesty is necessary because it would save everyone's time and embarrassment to just disclose that, instead of a neo-norm to just be to walk out when you realize you're not actually attracted to the person. A similar argument is guys who have small penises, and trust me, the women who do actually care about that, will ask, or find out before that point. And if they don't, it's gonna be awkward for everyone. Things always change ofc, maybe we're just not there yet. Or maybe I'm not. But I'm not comfortable with that, and no, I'm not bigoted. I'm pretty left leaning ideologically and have very progressive views especially for the US right now. We like who we like. Sexual preference isn't inherent of your beliefs. It can be for some people, but that doesn't mean it is for everyone. Especially when you have some deeply closeted repubs that molest boys all the time. That's indicative of that. They truly believe homosexuality is a sin, they're not just playing it up for the public, they are pure bred, self hating, repressed psychos. So, as cringe as every single tiktok here is, there's clearly plenty of bigoted people there that are just using "preference isn't ideologically revealing" to cover up their garbo beliefs. It's obvious the line is much further than that. I have no problem being white, I love being me, but I don't parade around with "white pride." Lol... so clearly (everyone here already knows that, but) their beliefs go much deeper than just "preference." They're obviously transphobic. But that doesn't mean the idea of just not preferring trans women or trans men, being a real and fair line concerning attraction, isn't a true statement. It just means like always, the oppressors change their language to make it less obvious that their beliefs are distorted. They're hiding behind a fair, easy to agree with statement, but clearly holding views that go much deeper in that direction. Anyways... I say all this bc it almost seems like a lot of people think it is wrong if you say you wouldn't want to date a trans person? I mean I'm not even saying I wouldn't try, if I found myself so attracted to one that I would have an exception. I'm just saying if it's a yes or no question, I would say I wouldn't date a trans person. And it seems like some people think that's inherently bigoted... which... idk? That seems crazy. I have zero interest in controlling or changing how other people enjoy sex and pursue life. I not only want people to figure out their own life for themselves, but I've encouraged them if they're on a particular path that attracts a bunch of unwarranted hate. I honestly wouldn't even know how to say "I'm not transphobic" in a way with any more nuance than that, bc I've never even had to defend myself of something like that. Soo.. In conclusion, I think for the sake of the video, it wasn't exactly necessary to point out "oh btw if you aren't attracted to transgenders that doesn't mean you're an awful person" maybe D'Angelo feels that goes without saying. But some comments seem a bit different. I just wanted to explain this, incase anybody genuinely doesn't understand why or how complicated sexual preference can be. It can work as complex or extremely simple, depending on the person.
@@Jack-rk7jc I don’t think most ppl think it’s wrong to chose not to date a trans person it’s more of making a sexuality that singles them out bc they aren’t “real” enough to those ppls standards is the issue. Hope this helps someone.

Nice rape culture you got there. No one is entitled to sex. My body is not charity. I don’t have to engage with anyone I don’t want to for whatever reason.
But there is a rationale behind it. Not all trans people undergo surgery and that's their choice. But it's also my choice if I want to date someone who looks like my preferred gender or has the genitals of my preferred gender. You like what you like 🤷🏽♀️ Some people may be coming from a biological pov a trans man cannot produce sperm and a trans woman does not have eggs. So having a traditional family will be hard. I'm not saying that some of these people weren't transphobic. But I feel like transphobia only comes into play if one is actively dismissing trans people. For the reasons listed above I think it's valid and okay for one to say that their preference is someone born into their preferred gender or at least someone who has had surgery to look like the gender they identify as.

I agree wholeheartedly with that, although the main problem with super straight is that many people (not all of them ofc) who claim to be super straight, are just being transphobic and using the label of super straight to deflect criticism. For instance, I’ve seen Yt commenters who say that they are super straight and would only date a real woman, because trans women aren’t women. @@cinnamxn5926 Well that type of movement is bound to attract those sorts of people, but at the end of the day they have a right to their preferences. That one lady even pointing out that it's a preference was so close to the point. Not wanting to date someone because you aren't sexually attracted to their, Idk, pre-transition genitals or whatever is fine in itself. You can't change how your body feels. But it's not a sexuality. It's a sexual preference.
It's partly a parody of LGBT-obsessed LGBT people.
So if you find out your gf is a trans and your dick doesn’t go up anymore...that’s your bodies natural preference saying not attracted”
So it’s not transphobic to not date trans cause it’s a sexual preference.
@@leslieloren5573 if you just hate that he or she wasn’t the gender that they are now, it’s transphobic, but if they are pre-op and their genitals aren’t appealing to you, that shouldn’t be considered transphobic, but to each their own I guess
Wait what is the difference between sexuality and sexual preference can someone explain? Seriously asking
@@nihalnihal9356 not really much of a difference
Sexuality is liking boys, girls and so on sexual preference is what you desire within that essentially.
“lgbt rules and guidelines” lmao huh?? i wasn’t aware of the lgbt committee that we all have to abide by

@@Jack-rk7jc you cant choose your gender. you cant be biologically a guy and a biological gender doesnt exist, youre thinking of sex.

But there is a rationale behind it.
Not all trans people undergo surgery and that's their choice. But it's also my choice if I want to date someone who looks like my preferred gender or has the genitals of my preferred gender. You like what you like 🤷🏽♀️
Some people may be coming from a biological pov a trans man cannot produce sperm and a trans woman does not have eggs. So having a traditional family will be hard.
I'm not saying that some of these people weren't transphobic. But I feel like transphobia only comes into play if one is actively dismissing trans people. @@sarshanewton2647 The problem is, no one is saying that having a preference for non-trans makes you transphobic. I agree wholeheartedly with that, although the main problem with super straight is that many people (not all of them ofc) who claim to be super straight, are just being transphobic and using the label of super straight to deflect criticism. As a trans guy, I don't think having a preference for someone's genitals is all that important. The problem with "super straight" is that they're trying to act like they're oppressed like the LGBT+ community is.
Oppressed not really but trans activists are pretty radical and militant and are literally trying to invalidate Homosexuality by changing what it actually is and many people blindly follow that ideology.

@L0SURE You go by the gender you are. So if your a trans woman who likes woman only you are a lesbian.
hey, as someone who is a straight cisgender women I have no objections to dating a transgender male because THEY ARE A MALE but I do have a preference that they would be fully transitioned including genitals as I have a genital preference. Funny how a community with ideals you don’t like exists and you say they’re making a mockery out of you just because you disagree with their sexual preference. Pretty sad.
They need less attention paid to them. The more people talk about them, the more they're legitimized. All anyone needs to know is that this is just another Nazi hashtag.

Acknowledging that transgender women are women but preferring to not date them is not transphobic.
Being "super straight", saying you'll only date cisgender women because you wouldn't date a "man", aka a transgender woman, is transphobic.
You can acknowledge someone as their correct gender and not date them. No one is forcing you.
You know what I find funny? People legitimetly think this is real, not realising it's an actual 4chan troll gone too far.
@@brob657 when jokes go too far they start to become real, which is the problem. Some of these people genuinely think that this is valid and not blatant transphobia
This is exactly what I think, when you acknowledge them as the gender they identify as it just becomes a matter of preferences.
YES exactly!
@@Chef_Mordo but then you wouldn’t even consider their sexual identity as a factor but whether they’re attractive to you for other reasons which eliminates this entire concept ?
