I'm curious as to why in most of your Episodes, Those with Huge Homes, You give People New Beds, Sofas, Fridges, Stoves, Washers, New Carpeting, etc.!!??... And a Thorough Cleaning!!??🤔😒...
So why then, In this small Home, With a Far More Extremely Cooperative Person than in Most your Shows... Who Obviously doesn't have much... And was Literally willingly give to up almost Everything ... Did it look like the the Floor wasn't even Vaccumed, Much less Shampooed or Better Yet replaced!!??😒...
The walls hadn't even been wiped down... Or again, Better yet painted!!??😒 This was Literally the Absolute Worst Reveal I've seen yet!!!😝😜😣😒... And Frankly feel like you should've been Embarrassed and Ashamed to even Broadcast this Episode!!!😓😒....
She was a Very Dear Sweet Lady who had Admittedly been through Sooo Much in her Life... And to Spite this behaved Sooo Much Better and was Sooo Much More Receptive to and Grateful for the Help she was given... But was the least Rewarded by Far... of All the others that were "Uncooperative and Un-Grateful"!!??🤔😒....
Would ABSO-FLIPPIN'-LUTELY LOVE for someone from "Hoarders" or "A&E", To Explain this to me!!??... Thanks!!🤔😒

Because I thought the show offered mental health after care for three months, and because they are making money having this broadcast I just assumed that A&E was footing the bill for the cleanup. It seems like a lot of the hoarders, at least in the early episodes, also had a lot of debt. And I could never figure out how they could afford to buy or get the credit to keep on buying their every day needs. The behind-the-scenes stuff is interesting. I will have to check out his channel. I also never looked into who reports these people to A&E in order to apply for the show. Something else to do in my spare time!

I contacted an organizer who specializes in hoarding. She told me she worked one-on-one with Hoarders who have been IN THERAPY and that through working with her clients, she git them to CHANGE THEIR BEHAVIOR. That is what I want AND NEED.

      Especially for people of color
She’s great wherever she is but she has a special credibility for her Black clients. She represents something no white person can.
Please don’t get your knickers in a knot here. Just please remember that the doctor brings a cultural understanding to many.
She’s equally as helpful to all kinds of other folks as well.
I think she is the most effective professional on this show. Her empathy is part and parcel of her being. As is her quiet leading out of people.
How many women would be willing,
yet alone trusting enough to tell her estranged daughters about how she was brutalized?
And you could see her daughters instantly make sense of what drove her mother to be as she was.
The Me Too movement struck so many women to their core. They developed a sense of sisterhood realizing they weren’t alone.
And I think one of the most important aspects of that movement is that men finally felt free to speak out.
If you’ve never experienced that kind of brutality in your own life I encourage you to stand back a bit and ponder what those experiences could mean to you.
What kind of support system could you count on?
What kind of access do you have to counseling for your mental health?
      And health care in general.
      Time to stop here

Some regular family dinners, some fresh paint, and a couple of area rugs would cheer up the home. God Bless.

The wigs probably home to lots of tiny creatures by the look of the house, it's minging.

I wonder though…. I’ve seen them take out way more stuff 15-20 tons of stuff (granted there was zero staging area on this one - that could’ve been the limitation). They have NEVER FAILED to at least put in a new mattress and carpet/paint in kitchen or a bathroom. They didn’t even show the finished kitchen on this one. I just wonder if they fixed the hole in the floor at minimum.

sometimes when the house is tidied up, it can look so poor still. Ive never seen so many poor looking houses as this and also in America. I wish they'd just give them a new house instead to be honest.God bless Doris and her daughters.

Most of those shoes are high heels, which can be dangerous if its bearer stands wearing them for too long. It's better if she kept only her flatware rather than wear anything too high.

Blames her kids for not buying into her self-victimisation then does a 180 to make up for it? Manipulation upon manipulation.

This was so Beautiful ❤️❤️❤️ But I’m wondering why the house wasn’t fixed up more in the end. I won’t be ungrateful though because the healing between her and her girl’s was more important besides getting rid of the junk.

I'm a woman, and I gotta disagree. I have two pairs of shoes. One pair some black steel toe cap work boots. The other is a navy blue set of trainers. That's good enough for me.

    @jada Nicole
I always matched my wigs with my shoes , coats , outfits, earrings and sunglasses 🕶
I had different color , length and style wigs !!,
    I WAS SHARP !!!!!!!
Would hurt you over a wig !! 🥶
I still wear them , but I don't match up everything like I used to . Lol
I pray that mom will get it together and thank God for her beautiful daughters that care about her and love her !
Now , mom can still do her hook up,s , just slow it down a little .
    🤗💃

But you only have 2 feet. That's the problem with shoe-hoarders. They get into the habit of buying too many but only wearing 3 of them.
