    Will we still be able to use our existing recovery pumps and vacuum pumps, or do we need to upgrade equipment to handle these new refrigerants?

      I understand you will need to upgrade. Most on the market today are designed for the A2L refrigerants. Thanks for asking!

    How soon can a residential owner in Massachusetts expect R454 installations to be available?

      Good question I’m not sure. It would depend on when manufacturers start releasing equipment. My guess would be early to to mid 2024? Thanks for watching!

      ​@@HVAC-TVI'm in the same boat, looking to do geothermal, know they have 454b in Europe don't see putting a 410a system when it's going to be obsolete

      As of 12/2023, seems ABCO-Daikin have R-32 units coming into stock progressively now. R-410A is already a bad bet in the 5+ year view and VRF the worst bet since it needs a lot of refrigerant per ton, most points of failure.
