I bought an Align AH-6 fuselage many years ago and wrapped it around a well-proven Belt-CP mechanics. It could hover and maneuver gently like they're showing here, but as soon as I built up any forward speed I completely lost tail rotor effectiveness and spun in. Tried again with a much higher head speed to increase tail rotor effectiveness, same result. This bird looks like it's trying to lose control in a similar manner; you can tell the pilot is fighting to stay in control. That and the $500 price tag for what the reviews say are cheap interior mechanics say No Sale to me.
Could you do a basic setup video with this or a similar rotorscale helicopter? For those of us that have experience with RTF entry level collective pitch choppers a basic setup(transmitter and onboard flight controller/gyro) tutorial with this or say the alpine yellow as350 or huey I'm sure would be well received. I purchased the as350 years ago under the assumption at that time that It was going to come with the onboard flight controller and ready to go......needless to say its new in the box to this day. Appreciate the time and effort you guys put into the motionrc website/media and products.
Looking for a similar Airwolf model of about this size. I am not against building but I don't want something that I have to do fitting or other such customization to get flying (or at least not at this time given my level of knowledge/skill).
I'd also consider the Roban B222 Airwolf 500 Size Helicopter Scale Conversion KIT if there was a good build video showing how to build it step by step.
Absolutely not. You need a pod and boom helicopter. If you want to learn to fly a helicopter avoid self level and auto hover at all costs. It lulls you into believing you can fly a helicopter the moment you switch it off it’s stops being a drone and becomes a helicopter you find out you can’t fly and before you have time to think it’s all over.
Not any of our scale helicopters but we have several small helicopters that have self leveling like this one. www.motionrc.com/products/rotorscale-f1-180-size-gyro-stabilized-helicopter-rtf-rsh1003-001
Looks like an A-Team Era Heli... Nice
Yes or something Airwolf would have to dog fight.
Very nice looking mini bird.
Cool heli
very cool Wesley!!

Wesley very Cool heli. I really like that scale look. Y’all should make a tutorial for setting one up sometime. 👍👍😉
なかなか安定していて良いですね。フライトが楽しそうです!
aamazing................
Looks like you need to balance or adjust the blades. Your skids are acting really nervous.
You drop a proper Airwolf 450 RTR size chopper with correct scale details and I'll whip out my credit card faster than you can say boo.
Very nice
looking good to me I will get one
do you ship to Australia ?
is there a way to have the tail rotor and tail set up facing the correct way? The tail rotor is on the wrong side of the tail.
This is pretty normal in the RC World. Not sure why they always put it on the wrong side.
Great looking kit. The only thing that looks off scale is the rotor heat is too high.

Does this helli or any helli's have something like safe flight? Easy to learn for a beginner?
No

Plug and play. PNP so you need to add your own receiver flybarless and battery but it does come prepainted and almost fully assembled.
