That was probably the best RC helicopter videos I've ever seen number one I love the aircraft number to I love the fact that you flew it like a like a helicopter and and not like some Flying Grasshopper with the whoopty whoop and they back and forth in the funnel move and all that crap I mean that stuff is kind of cool but you only need to see it once to know that it's cool and the fact that everybody does it all the time thinking that it's still cool it's not it's over it's done with fly helicopter like it was meant to fly not some kind of alien spacecraft doing miraculous moves it's just ridiculous what they're doing with these hair with these RC aircraft I love how you fly that thing I love that Hughes model so cool

I have a Bergen Intrepid Magnum 700 90 Nitro that I am too scared to fly. Don't want to crash it because it's like a $2,400.00 helicopter. Amazing flying skills wish I could be that good.
crashing is, unfortunately, a part of this hobby.

InTheFleshInc dude..... I spent like $3600 building an 800... you just gotta fly em. That's what they are for. It's just parts, if it drops then fix it. Never fall in love with a machine. Lol.
James Lackland, I did fall in Love with it, it reminded me of one I saw hanging from the ceiling of a R/C shop I would visit back in the 70's, so keep it, sell it, or one day fly it I really don't know?

Sehr schoen geflogen - aber vor allem RESPEKT fuer den Cameramann! So ein dynamischer Flug - aber trotzdem immer perfekt verfolgt und zeitgleich mit zoom fluessig angepasst. Das kann wirklich nicht jeder!
If anyone in fear of crashing my suggestion is start flying them in steps like smaller scales then work your way up the bigger scale models.

Upside down flights is totally unrealistic with a Hughes 500. I do prefer the very flight realistic manoeuvres. Well done. Excellent pilot. 3:48 Flying a "Siegesrolle" is this possible with a non RC helicopter?

Was that a turbine by chance, I fly 700s electric which are not like that and it’s not a nitro. Title says 500e (possibly align but that’s no 500 size Heli, it’s closer to a 700 or giant scale turbine. I can see the type of heli is a Hughes 500, (which does exist), but so does an align 500e (500 blade size and e for electric). Great flying specially with a scale fuselage which in my experience fly much different than the normal pod and boom aka align 700 dominator sab goblin 700, or f3c which is a fuselage but super stable.

When people would ask what it’s like flying and RC Heli, I would simply say..... it’s like balancing a marble on top of a bowling ball. This guys skill is incredible 👍👍
Remote controlled helicopters are the insult towards helicopters.
This was much more entertaining then the two times the TV showed drone racing . Now when the drones use the lights & do those patterns in sky, thats cool to.

How does he transition from vertical thrust to inverted thrust around the 1:58 mark? I'm a fixed wing pilot and have some knowledge about aerodynamics. The only way I believe that could be done is for the main rotor to reverse direction to achieve inverted flight. Is that what he does?
