Linda, you should never use a wet cloth inside of your air conditioner like that with all those electric wires. There are live wires with electricity running to them you could get electrocuted
Good morning, Linda! The top of that a/c front panel should snap open, allowing you to just slide in the filters. Much easier than stuffing them in. Your filters are the right size.
Yes Linda she is correct! The very top of the panel and bottom should have clips underneath it so you can lift that up so you can slide your filter in. Correct size! They would not make it so you can’t slide the filter right in without damaging it.

In this Casida in my kids yard that I live in has a split unity and even with these scorching 116 days in Phoneix I keep it on 70/73 and it is so cold in here my daughter says she loves it because it feels like a hotel room. I like it or I’m used to it because at 77 I don’t go out in the heat. I hate you have bad allergies my allergies cleared up 95 percent when I left South Carolina and came to Arizona. I was so sick in fall and spring I had to go to Dr and stay in bed even with shots every week.i don’t take anything now. It’s dry here and no azaleas and horses and. Other things I tested allergic to.
Hi Linda! Happy Sunday! MERV ratings are important to know with your filters. I use MERV 11. Higher than 13 is really hard on your HVAC system. Lower than 8 doesn't do much good. Wow! I've never seen where 3 filters have to be used! 😯
@@lindahouser9814 I completely understand. Yours sound like they take care of dander, dust, pollen, smoke, all that stuff that MERV 11 does. I paid $8.50 each for mine, but I only have to use 2 each time as I have 2 intake areas. I imagine it gets expensive when you have to do 3 each time. I depend on Social Security so l can relate. 😊

I am allergic to everything in Texas, my allergies are not th I s bad in North Carolina where I am from

No it was put in many years ago, I just never took the windows unit out
My unite also takes 3 filters, that are very hard to find
I know 20" is a little big but smaller is too small so I make it work
