this made me appreciate digipedi's work w loona even more. i feel like they're the only one who able to potray loonaverse accurately creating this mysterious and cosmic feeling everytime we watch loona's mv. i wish they could work together again! also, welcome back loominosity! we miss u so much, the editing is slaying as always. thankyou for creating this content for us❤
i feel like odd eye circle lore really was the loonaverse’s peak everything just connected so well and was so unique.. not even mentioning their great discography
12:13 I guess I'm spoiling this for future episodes of LOONAverse Basics - or maybe I'm not because this is actually an interpretation and therefore more of a source for theories - there are lyrics in sitr which reference an eclipse. "For the sin of swallowing up the afternoon sun", "For the sin of swallowing up all the stars in the sky" refer to what I believe to be folklore about demons/dragons swallowing luminaries from the sky. While their specific meaning in the loonaverse isn't clear to me, I believe the "swallowing of the afternoon sun" refers to a solar eclipse, which was considered a bad omen. But! We'll have more to theorize about this line once we've taken a closer look at Egoist ;))) Let's be patient until then and look forward to 4.2 of oec basics🙏
I believe that "For the sin of swallowing up all stars in the sky" references norse mythology. The wolf Fenrir lived peacefully among the gods as their pet until he got betrayed by them and chained. It's said that as his vengeance, during Ragnarok the apocalypse, he will devour the sun and all stars in the sky replacing them with a shining moon. Also in one myth it's said that one of Fenrir's sons will chase the sun until he catches up and eats it. This event was symbolised by solar eclipse and it marked beginning of Ragnarok
all of LOONAs concepts are imbued with cryptic meanings and mysterious meanings, which makes it more exciting, unique and refreshing compared to generic kpop groups. though BBC did wrecked its glorious days, those unreleased videos and other films, gosh i would kill to get those unreleased films and videos. LOONA is still my most fave kpop group in this modern era.

I love that I can simply trust you all to do your research well and not be confused by the maze of theories. But what makes these so incredible is how you manage to take everyone on a journey to understand the fundamentals of the loonaverse. Thank you all for pushing through and uploading this! I can't believe how incredibly strong-willed you all have to be to also keep up the quality. The timing couldn't be better; this feels like a much-needed revival of the lore. It's an aspect of Loona that I've lost the sense to appreciate. I'm thankful for this addition to this series! I am once again listening to them like podcasts, they are calming and comforting which I can really use nowadays. Can't believe that we'll soon get another video! Kim Lip's "Eclipse" was the beginning of everything LOONA-related to me and I've never looked back ❤ OEC has to be one of my favorite subunits. Im so grateful that theyre back together and making more music! Plus! "Eclipse" came out the same year there was an actual Solar Eclipse and NASA featured her song on their international Eclipse playlist! ❤❤ I remember reading it on their IG page!
Absolutly amazing video ! I'm so glad there is people like you doing historic preservation of the loonaverse ! And in such quality, heaven. One tiny detail that could have been worth mentionning is the loona logo on each MV. Their background colors, how they are different from 1/3, and how Kim Lip's is the only one ever (with OEC) to eclipse. THANK YOU for all your work to everyone involved
actually i like the fact that everything is mysterious and orbits have to search and analyze everything themselves i bet no company would do such a high-quality work like loominosity did
