loona’s lore is so slept on, all the time i see orbits saying loona/bbc should stop caring about it and that they “don’t give an f about the lore” it deserves better, its what had me captivated by loona in the first place cause i love groups with storylines 😔
@@emipetru3719 actually, buttefly and so what do add more to the lore. from what i got/was able to interpret, the girls weren´t able to break the loop in hi high, so butterfly and so what are literally other versions of hi high. they've been trying new things to break the loop, such as gathering more people other than just the 12 girls (buttefly) or literally setting the moon on fire (so what). butterfly has tons of hints of previous videos, meaning that the story is repeating all over again, but this times, not only ot12 are trying to break the loop, this time they're trying the butterfly effect to see if they can get more people to join them on their journey and finally break the loop and live their own lives. in so what we see, again, that the loop sadly wasn't broken after butterfly. so this time they try a whole other route. that's why we see things like rebelious vivi, the gang in the subway, yeojin at school, go won and chuu apparently as a couple and still on eden, hyunjin and choerry as twins, and kim lip and hyejoo by themselves. seems like this time things went different because of haseul's absence, but i think hyejoo had some type of plan to bring haseul back, that's why we see that after the moon was set on fire, a white feather is renerating (most likely meaning that haseul will come back stronger than before whenever she comes back). so what also shows the importance of haseul in the loonaverse, when she wasn't there, everything went totally different. however, we don't know if the girls were finally able to break the loop after so what, but i guess we'll find out next comeback! also, don't take my theory too serious, everyone has different ways of interpreting the loonaverse :)
I never realized people thought it was a deer... i always just assumed the murderer oli theory was bc she was angry lol. so instead i always thought yves killed vivi. shes in yves’ mv, pre robot, and the red flashing and vivi looking shocked made me think yves either manipulated vivi and hurt her somehow, or accidentally lead to her downfall (to being a robot basically)
This was a recent observation I had made, but there's a shot in Gowon's solo MV "One&Only" where you can see something reflected in her eye. I saw a lot of people theorize it was the frog prince from Yeojin's MV, but when I took a closer look, I realized it was actually the pineapple that was sitting at the table! 😂

Sorry to sound like a smartass, but there’s a theory that Hyunjin was originally part of OEC (Her color is Yellow, a primary color like LipSoul’s) but left to be with Heejin on Earth, so LipSoul made Choerry (Red + Blue = Purple) to replace Hyunjin (Hyunjin and Choerry are mirrors of each other in So What) that’s it lol

I dont make videos and I dont know where to put this, so Ill just put it here. Hopefully it becomes useful to the ytube channel owner, @loominosity, and all Loonaverse theorists and Orbits (I have also posted this as comment in anotger channel's video): I find it odd that no one seems to be talking about the biggest clue thrown right before our eyes regarding the yyxy lore. It's love-four-eva: “the four forms of love for eve.” While “Yves” is a play on the spelling of the name “Eve" (and is actually a French name usually given to males), “Éva" is a Hungarian translation of “Eve". Hungary is where love4eva was filmed. Now, before we proceed on revisiting the yyxy lore, it is helpful to remember how BBC explained the sub-unit's name and logo: It is a "neanthropic chromosome”, the beginning of a new human, a human changed down to its DNA. It also says in the song description that the members of yyxy sub-unit represents different “emotions" (I would use the term “principles") that the primal girl has: faith, love, hope and anger. This was also shown in the "One" video that yyxy had. At the end of that video, Ohye looked in the mirror upon biting the fruit, seeing in her reflection the 3 other girls. In short, while they represent 4 totally different characters, they also represent four aspects or principles of a single primal person, the Edenic Eve. They also represent the collective Eve, humankind (Eve being the mother of all humans according to the Abrahamic lore). Yyxy therefore represents the struggle of Éva in the garden of Eden where everything is predetermined and predefined. Éva wants change. Yves, the first principle, the principle of faith started it all. She represented the faith in what seems to be impossible, the escape from Eden, the creation of a new world where she defines who she is. For this to be done, faith is not enough though. As a character, Yves has to bring all the other principles with her to liberate the whole Éva. Chuu, the second principle, the principle of love, has undergone the journey from loving only the other to loving also the self. In her undoubtedly adorable love of the other, she at first failed to realize that she also has to learn to love herself. Only in realizing this can she give herself to the other. Also, only then can the other be able to recognize her for who she truly is. With Chuu finally realizing what love is supposed to be, she and Yves now can face the task of realizing what they hoped for. In comes Go Won, the third principle. She represented the journey from a seemingly dark and helpless situation to one of emancipation and optimistic future. From fear to hope. This hope is also founded in faith or determination, and love, both for others and for the self. (With hope, even one who is not from the rose family can escape Eden.) It would also be with hope that the final principle can be accepted and brought out of Eden. Anger seems to be out of place in Eden, which is a paradise. But anger is what paradise is for Éva. Always relegated as imperfect except when doing what God has told her to do, Eden for Éva is a hateful paradise. She doesn't know this at first, for her hate was directed at herself, manifested in insecurity and even envy and resentment of the other. This anger, the opposite of love, is, however, the complement of love. Anger is love unrequited, it is love misdirected. For lack of love is not anger, it is indifference. Love is anger tamed, it is passion directed. One who loves hates those that hurt the beloved. One who hates oneself thinks that it is the self that is at fault. But self-hatred is also a misdirected love of self, a feeling that grows out of the frustrated desire to improve oneself. Ohye, the principle of anger, eventually understood. She learned to love herself, be an egoist so to speak, and eventually re-channel her hatred towards Eden itself. With Hope giving her the fruit, she eventually found her true self in a mirror. (And with the help of the OEC, she eventually made her way to reunite with the other facets of herself.) Finally, yyxy members as different characters merged with Loona (Hi High). Like a flap of a butterfly’s wings (Butterfly) that can cause hurricanes in other parts of the world, they set out to inspire more Loonas in the world. They burned themselves in utter defiance of their fate (So What). From the fire, and with the help of their Stars (Orbits), they celebrate (Why Not) and create a New Moon. While the whole Loona calls out to all the Loonas of the world, I think, the yyxy also calls out to all the Éva's of the world: Don't hate yourself, hate your Eden. With faith, hope and love, burn your old self and build your own paradise. That's all. Thanks

I've always thought that it doesn't look like a deer eye but didn't know how to check to be sure and it left me feeling disheartened. I don't think the loonaverse's meaning is ambiguous, though it might start like that, the more you look into it and from the moment you start looking into it with the knowledge that Loona is preaching for self-acceptance and women empowerment it becomes clear. NONE of LOONA's metaphors are just to deepen a story but they are all used as ways to deepen the meaning of their ideas and give them more punch!
In my opinion,the loop in the loonaverse works like this : 123456 654321 (123456 789101112) Heejin = start Olivia = End Hyunjin = Loves someone Gowon = Love herself Haseul = Kills her boy version because she doesn’t accept him Chuu = Do I have to say something ? Yeojin = Yeojin says in her MV shes too young,to wait Yves = In new,Yves has nothing to lose in her new life ViVi = In ‘EILY’ She is waiting the right time to confess Choerry = In ‘LCM’ She straight up said it ._. Kim Lip = ? Jinsoul = ? (Idk,theories say that Kim Lip is singing to Jinsoul in Eclipse,and Jinsoul sings to Kim Lip in SITR)

this is the most detailed and well thought out series on the Loonaverse I have ever seen! Thank you so so much for making these. My biggest curiosity about Loona atm are the INTROS. Why are some moons going one way, while some are going in reverse? Why are some white and some black? And I've ALWAYS wondered why Hyunjins intro was yellow and green (haseuls color)🤔? Also, why is kim lip's the only one that eclipses? I'm wondering if the videos with black intros occur on the "dark side of the moon", while the white ones occur on earth/eden maybe? I have so many questions about the intros, if you could cover any of them in your next video I would be so grateful🙏
I love the outlandish ones like “Yves is the boy in everyday I love you”, “Choerry is the frog in kiss later”, “Loona is one person” and “Yves is a mastermind controlling the girls”
yyxy is the exact opposite of 1/3. As we know from the mobuis strip, they mirror each other. The release of 1/3 members go as: Heejin - hyunjin - haseul - vivi And yyxy members go as: Yves - chuu - gowon - olivia Yyxy is the mirror image of 1/3 so flip yyxy’s release order. We can actually see 1/3 girls in yyxy solo mvs. But we can’t see yyxy in 1/3 mvs but they are actually there. They intereact through objects. So it matches perfectly if you flip yyxy’s order and put them under 1/3 order. Heejin - hyunjin - haseul - vivi Olivia - gowon - chuu - yves Olivia is the person Heejin sees out the window at the end of ViviD. After she creates the first 7 members, she subconcoiusly creates yyxy and firstly Olivia. Olivia signifiaces the shadow. Gowon is the one that breakes the vase and gives Hyunjin the bracelet. Yves kills Vivi. And you can see Vivi in new. Now what’s the connection between Haseul and Chuu? We see Haseul at the end of Heart Attack. Is Chuu the one that says the French line in Let me in?
Hello Johan! I miss you!! 😭 Bdw I love how you talk about the misconception! Each theory people come up with is different and beautiful, and we all should come up with our own ideas and explore them. None of these theories is equal to fact, so one must not criticize the other theory or call it wrong. You can explain it in your own way and that's what loonaverse is. I don't understand why do they have to fight with each other theory when there's no exact explanation or answer. Anyway, I love your videos. I could listen to them for hours like a lullaby, it's very shooting to hear your voice. And I cracked at the Grimes part lmao

Yeah. There were theories about that. Based on the frog's suit being purple and that one time on the MV where Yeojin was startled by the frog hanging upside down (bat).
"Yves is the boy in Everyday I Love You" i laughed at this😂 nope lol the guy was a male trainee under 8D creative who later debuted in a group called 'OnlyOneOf'
Heejin being the god of the Loonaverse and Oliva "Lucifer" makes sense, the way I see it Heejin sent the primary colors down to create new colors because the world was black and white but one was "taken" to Earth leading to Choerry's existence. Notice how her odd eye is on the right probably meaning not an original odd eye, but she's of mix of Kim Lip(red) and Jinsoul(blue) which make Purple. Since the Primary colors are Blue, Red, and Yellow but Hyunjin is seen on Earth so Choerry is most likely a fill-in. Also, in Flip that Oliva is wearing a ring of her color and Heejin's showing how she's the opposite ("evil") most likely being born from Heejin's shadows which explains her color of black or silver.
Tell me if I’m wrong but I don’t believe the Loona lore has a timeline? Or necessarily one that makes complete sense? I believe it’s just smaller story arch’s that revolve around concepts more than a storyline. I’ve tried making a time line of the events but I legit have no idea. For Loona 1/3 Vivid > Around You/Let Me In > The Carol > Kiss Later > EDILY > Love&Live > Yeojin gets lost > Sonatine. OEC it’s Sweet Crazy Love > Eclipse/SITR > Love Cherry Motion > Girl Front and for YYXY it’s Love4eva just summarizes New, Heart Attack and One and Only and Egoist takes place during the events of Hi High. The problem would be sticking each group together. The Carol and Heart Attack have to take place during the same time and that’s all I know 😔. I’ve pretty much stopped trying to link all the events together and after Hi High it just conceptual lore at this point.

Heejin A single by Heejin, the first member of Girls of the Month. Loona, who have drawn attention in media as a massive-scale girl group even before debut, has been unveiled with the reveal of its first member Heejin. Loona will reveal a new member every month starting in October 2016, over a time period of over a year. Each month, the girl of the month will release a single and music video that can show off her skills and character. For the first member Heejin, the production team MonoTree completed the track and director Jo Boem-jin and VM Project produced the music video of "ViViD" original version. "ViViD" is a colorful-feeling lo-fi track, which shows off Heejin's character with clarity. It tells a story of meeting a person to love in a repetitive and colorless routine, and only then finding a vivid color within oneself. On the other hand, the acoustic mix of "ViViD" changes the original into a groovy guitar-based track, with Heejin's delicate sense of rhythm being a pleasure. The acoustic version's music video was filmed in Paris by VAM Production. Heejin's first fansign is planned for the first week of release, on October 8, 2016 in Seoul. She will meet fans through a total of four fansigns over the month of October.
Hyunjin The world of rookie girlgroup Girls of the Month expands with Hyunjin. A single by Hyunjin, the second member of rookie girlgroup Girls of the Month. A month ago, the rookie girlgroup that took its first step with the reveal of first member Heejin and colorful pop piece "ViViD" now reveals its second member, Hyunjin. Hyunjin's single contains "Around You", a teenage ballad track by production team MonoTree, and "I'll Be There", a charming candy-funk track by Artronic Waves which also produced Exo's "Tender Love", as dual title tracks. As evidenced by having produced 24 singles befitting the 12 members even before debut in order to ensure musical quality, Loona are slowly drawing up a musical "big picture". "Around You" is a teenage ballad track that has not been heard in some time, which paints the emotions of a beautiful crush that an adolescent girl might have upon a piano melody. The video accompanying "Around You", entirely filmed in Tokyo, include an 8-minute film version which is reminiscent of a Japanese romance film as well as a music video version. Dual-title track "I'll Be There" is the first song that brings Hyunjin and Heejin together, a candy-funk track notable for the fresh charm that pops off from the very first line. This track was also filmed entirely in Harajuku, Tokyo, and presents music and video that suggests an overall direction for Loona, a girlgroup that can already give off a fully packed vibe with just two members. Loona is receiving attention as a large-scale project that debuts a new girl and a single every month over 1 year and 6 months. Even beyond the volume of having 12 members, songs and music videos that introduce each member's character will be revealed, and other devices to experience background lore that expands with each new member will be prepared. The first member Heejin has already successfully completed four fansigns with just her debut single, and Hyunjin will also be meeting fans through two individual fansigns and two additional fansigns with both Hyunjin and Heejin as a unit. Haseul The world of Loona, compiling singles with each new member, expands with Haseul. A single by Haseul, the third member of rookie girlgroup Girls of the Month. Following Heejin's colorful-vibe pop in "ViViD" and Hyunjin's longing of first love in "Around You", rookie girlgroup Loona has revealed the third member, Haseul. Haseul was revealed in a short-blond tomboy concept as well as a long-haired girl concept across [teasers at] day and night, immediately capturing the attention of fans who await Loona. Haseul, who has a charm that both boyish and girlish traits coexist in her, has maximized that in music and visuals through her first single, "Let Me In". [Just a note that this makes more sense given the Korean title which is "Boy, Girl".] Haseul's "Let Me In", by the production team OREO led by Iggy who completed GFriend's school-themed trilogy, is a blockbuster track that starts as a calm winter ballad before strings roar over like a blizzard. Digipedi and Blockberry Creative filmed in faraway Iceland for the music video, and fulfilled the music's scale through the scenery of Iceland. "The Carol", which stars Haseul alongside Heejin and Hyunjin, is Loona's first seasonal song. Loona's own Christmas theme, as clear as its title, was produced with MonoTree, and its music video was filmed in London and expresses a giddy feeling like that of an excited girl on Christmas. Loona is a new-concept girlgroup that grows together with fans who recognized the girls early on with each new member, updating new content every day on social media and RUclips and meeting with fans through individual fansigns. The girls' journey to complete the girlgroup Loona has now just raised its sail.
Love & Live 1 year and 8 months until full group, 9.9 billion won in total production budget, overseas location filming for all members in Paris, Tokyo, London, Iceland, and Taiwan, off-line promotions covering the streets of Seoul, over-the-air TV advertisements... after drawing attention with each step of the nation's largest-scale idol project, Loona has revealed its 1/3 unit. The question of "how can we wait 1 year and 8 months" lingered in fans' minds while waiting for the full group of 12, but Loona is revealed to the public in a new worldview called 1/3 before its final form. Befitting the precisely defined goal of "our goal is not #1 on the charts, but rather to expand the world of Loona onwards", the sharing of lore between fans and Loona expanded, and Loona 1/3 has shown progression on a different level than other girlgroups, being selected as models for Innisfree without even a single broadcast appearance. Loona 1/3 is not just a unit, but tasked as pioneers who will show off the world of Loona to the general public for the first time. In March 2017, it completed its album Love & Live. Each member approaches fans with unique charms, Heejin as a girl well-rounded in talent, ability, effort and looks, Hyunjin as a girl who's clumsy unlike her delicate features, Haseul as a girl with wisdom and thoughtfulness as the leader of 1/3, and Vivi as a girl adapting to the world of Loona after arriving from an unfamiliar world. Top staff talent in K-pop came together, including music video production by Digipedi, music production by MonoTree, choreography by director Kim Hwa-young and director Kim Hyun-gyu, photography by artist Koh Ji-young, and creative directing by Jaden Jeong. Sub-title track "You and Me Together" is a candy-funk track produced by Artronic Waves for the second time since Heejin and Hyunjin's "I'll Be There". It brings good feelings to the listener with a refreshing sound like bursting fruit juices, a signature sound of Loona. And "Fairy Tale" gently flows to the ear with a melody that's like a bedtime fairytale from childhood. Final track "Valentine Girl" was previously teased to fans in February. It is a happy-tempo track telling the story of gifting chocolate to a boy on Valentine's Day, then hoping to hear confessions of love from that boy on March's White Day. Loona, rewriting a new history of K-pop girl groups, begins activities in earnest through 1/3. An overflowing repertoire that includes the solo works of Heejin, Hyunjin, Haseul, and Yeojin and tracks that present a new standard of girl groups all come together and make Loona's world ever more durable.
Vivi Starting with Heejin, then Hyunjin, Haseul, Yeojin, and Loona 1/3's unit activities. Loona continues to iterate on the expansion of a world through the appearance of new girls each month, as well as addition, combination, and separation among members within that. In April, Loona has revealed the solo single of Vivi. Vivi was revealed as a member of Loona 1/3, and drew attention with looks refreshing like an apple and by playing an android robot. Expectations for her solo album were also raised as she was first revealed through the unit. Revealed at last, Vivi's solo title track, "Everyday I Love You", reinterprets the 90s style in a modern way and maximizes Vivi's unique charm. Vivi's style is refreshing without embellishments, like the originality of the 1990s which was the era of classical sweethearts like Kang Suji and Ha Soo-bin, and this can be seen in music and video. Produced by Digipedi, Loona's music video director, "Everyday I Love You" draws attention with its recreation of the 90s aesthetic. In addition to nostalgic items like rollerskates, Walkmans, Unplugged Boy, and Coolpix cameras being brought out, Heejin, Hyun, Haseul, and Yeojin all came out as cameos to lend help on Vivi's solo. Additionally, the male lead of the music video (who dances hip-hop when he's sad) [this is a reference to the aforementioned Unplugged Boy, a 1990s Korean romance manga], is notable as the first male trainee being revealed by Blockberry Creative. The medium-mix version of the title track, "Everyday I Need You", features a yet-unrevealed Loona member named Jinsoul in a groovy rap performance and her first appearance to fans. The Loona team, which has done location filming globally in Japan, Iceland, UK, Taiwan, New Zealand, and Hong Kong after starting with Heejin's France shoot, completed filming in Busan this time with Vivi. In consideration of Vivi who is a foreigner, the beauty of Busan as a leading Korean city was framed in photographs. "We meet a new girl every month"

@@emipetru3719 actually, buttefly and so what do add more to the lore. from what i got/was able to interpret, the girls weren´t able to break the loop in hi high, so butterfly and so what are literally other versions of hi high. they've been trying new things to break the loop, such as gathering more people other than just the 12 girls (buttefly) or literally setting the moon on fire (so what).
butterfly has tons of hints of previous videos, meaning that the story is repeating all over again, but this times, not only ot12 are trying to break the loop, this time they're trying the butterfly effect to see if they can get more people to join them on their journey and finally break the loop and live their own lives.
in so what we see, again, that the loop sadly wasn't broken after butterfly. so this time they try a whole other route. that's why we see things like rebelious vivi, the gang in the subway, yeojin at school, go won and chuu apparently as a couple and still on eden, hyunjin and choerry as twins, and kim lip and hyejoo by themselves. seems like this time things went different because of haseul's absence, but i think hyejoo had some type of plan to bring haseul back, that's why we see that after the moon was set on fire, a white feather is renerating (most likely meaning that haseul will come back stronger than before whenever she comes back). so what also shows the importance of haseul in the loonaverse, when she wasn't there, everything went totally different. however, we don't know if the girls were finally able to break the loop after so what, but i guess we'll find out next comeback! also, don't take my theory too serious, everyone has different ways of interpreting the loonaverse :)

This was a recent observation I had made, but there's a shot in Gowon's solo MV "One&Only" where you can see something reflected in her eye. I saw a lot of people theorize it was the frog prince from Yeojin's MV, but when I took a closer look, I realized it was actually the pineapple that was sitting at the table! 😂

I find it odd that no one seems to be talking about the biggest clue thrown right before our eyes regarding the yyxy lore. It's love-four-eva: “the four forms of love for eve.” While “Yves” is a play on the spelling of the name “Eve" (and is actually a French name usually given to males), “Éva" is a Hungarian translation of “Eve". Hungary is where love4eva was filmed.
Now, before we proceed on revisiting the yyxy lore, it is helpful to remember how BBC explained the sub-unit's name and logo: It is a "neanthropic chromosome”, the beginning of a new human, a human changed down to its DNA. It also says in the song description that the members of yyxy sub-unit represents different “emotions" (I would use the term “principles") that the primal girl has: faith, love, hope and anger. This was also shown in the "One" video that yyxy had. At the end of that video, Ohye looked in the mirror upon biting the fruit, seeing in her reflection the 3 other girls. In short, while they represent 4 totally different characters, they also represent four aspects or principles of a single primal person, the Edenic Eve. They also represent the collective Eve, humankind (Eve being the mother of all humans according to the Abrahamic lore).
Yyxy therefore represents the struggle of Éva in the garden of Eden where everything is predetermined and predefined. Éva wants change.
Yves, the first principle, the principle of faith started it all. She represented the faith in what seems to be impossible, the escape from Eden, the creation of a new world where she defines who she is. For this to be done, faith is not enough though. As a character, Yves has to bring all the other principles with her to liberate the whole Éva.
Chuu, the second principle, the principle of love, has undergone the journey from loving only the other to loving also the self. In her undoubtedly adorable love of the other, she at first failed to realize that she also has to learn to love herself. Only in realizing this can she give herself to the other. Also, only then can the other be able to recognize her for who she truly is. With Chuu finally realizing what love is supposed to be, she and Yves now can face the task of realizing what they hoped for.
In comes Go Won, the third principle. She represented the journey from a seemingly dark and helpless situation to one of emancipation and optimistic future. From fear to hope. This hope is also founded in faith or determination, and love, both for others and for the self. (With hope, even one who is not from the rose family can escape Eden.) It would also be with hope that the final principle can be accepted and brought out of Eden.
Anger seems to be out of place in Eden, which is a paradise. But anger is what paradise is for Éva. Always relegated as imperfect except when doing what God has told her to do, Eden for Éva is a hateful paradise. She doesn't know this at first, for her hate was directed at herself, manifested in insecurity and even envy and resentment of the other.
This anger, the opposite of love, is, however, the complement of love. Anger is love unrequited, it is love misdirected. For lack of love is not anger, it is indifference. Love is anger tamed, it is passion directed. One who loves hates those that hurt the beloved. One who hates oneself thinks that it is the self that is at fault. But self-hatred is also a misdirected love of self, a feeling that grows out of the frustrated desire to improve oneself.
Ohye, the principle of anger, eventually understood. She learned to love herself, be an egoist so to speak, and eventually re-channel her hatred towards Eden itself. With Hope giving her the fruit, she eventually found her true self in a mirror. (And with the help of the OEC, she eventually made her way to reunite with the other facets of herself.)
Finally, yyxy members as different characters merged with Loona (Hi High). Like a flap of a butterfly’s wings (Butterfly) that can cause hurricanes in other parts of the world, they set out to inspire more Loonas in the world. They burned themselves in utter defiance of their fate (So What). From the fire, and with the help of their Stars (Orbits), they celebrate (Why Not) and create a New Moon.
While the whole Loona calls out to all the Loonas of the world, I think, the yyxy also calls out to all the Éva's of the world: Don't hate yourself, hate your Eden. With faith, hope and love, burn your old self and build your own paradise.

I don't think the loonaverse's meaning is ambiguous, though it might start like that, the more you look into it and from the moment you start looking into it with the knowledge that Loona is preaching for self-acceptance and women empowerment it becomes clear. NONE of LOONA's metaphors are just to deepen a story but they are all used as ways to deepen the meaning of their ideas and give them more punch!

My biggest curiosity about Loona atm are the INTROS. Why are some moons going one way, while some are going in reverse? Why are some white and some black? And I've ALWAYS wondered why Hyunjins intro was yellow and green (haseuls color)🤔? Also, why is kim lip's the only one that eclipses? I'm wondering if the videos with black intros occur on the "dark side of the moon", while the white ones occur on earth/eden maybe?

yyxy is the exact opposite of 1/3. As we know from the mobuis strip, they mirror each other. The release of 1/3 members go as:
Heejin - hyunjin - haseul - vivi
And yyxy members go as:
Yves - chuu - gowon - olivia
Yyxy is the mirror image of 1/3 so flip yyxy’s release order.
We can actually see 1/3 girls in yyxy solo mvs. But we can’t see yyxy in 1/3 mvs but they are actually there. They intereact through objects. So it matches perfectly if you flip yyxy’s order and put them under 1/3 order.
Heejin - hyunjin - haseul - vivi
Olivia - gowon - chuu - yves
Olivia is the person Heejin sees out the window at the end of ViviD. After she creates the first 7 members, she subconcoiusly creates yyxy and firstly Olivia. Olivia signifiaces the shadow.

None of these theories is equal to fact, so one must not criticize the other theory or call it wrong. You can explain it in your own way and that's what loonaverse is. I don't understand why do they have to fight with each other theory when there's no exact explanation or answer.

Heejin being the god of the Loonaverse and Oliva "Lucifer" makes sense, the way I see it Heejin sent the primary colors down to create new colors because the world was black and white but one was "taken" to Earth leading to Choerry's existence. Notice how her odd eye is on the right probably meaning not an original odd eye, but she's of mix of Kim Lip(red) and Jinsoul(blue) which make Purple. Since the Primary colors are Blue, Red, and Yellow but Hyunjin is seen on Earth so Choerry is most likely a fill-in. Also, in Flip that Oliva is wearing a ring of her color and Heejin's showing how she's the opposite ("evil") most likely being born from Heejin's shadows which explains her color of black or silver.

Tell me if I’m wrong but I don’t believe the Loona lore has a timeline? Or necessarily one that makes complete sense? I believe it’s just smaller story arch’s that revolve around concepts more than a storyline. I’ve tried making a time line of the events but I legit have no idea. For Loona 1/3 Vivid > Around You/Let Me In > The Carol > Kiss Later > EDILY > Love&Live > Yeojin gets lost > Sonatine. OEC it’s Sweet Crazy Love > Eclipse/SITR > Love Cherry Motion > Girl Front and for YYXY it’s Love4eva just summarizes New, Heart Attack and One and Only and Egoist takes place during the events of Hi High. The problem would be sticking each group together. The Carol and Heart Attack have to take place during the same time and that’s all I know 😔. I’ve pretty much stopped trying to link all the events together and after Hi High it just conceptual lore at this point.

A single by Heejin, the first member of Girls of the Month. Loona, who have drawn attention in media as a massive-scale girl group even before debut, has been unveiled with the reveal of its first member Heejin.
Loona will reveal a new member every month starting in October 2016, over a time period of over a year. Each month, the girl of the month will release a single and music video that can show off her skills and character.
For the first member Heejin, the production team MonoTree completed the track and director Jo Boem-jin and VM Project produced the music video of "ViViD" original version.
"ViViD" is a colorful-feeling lo-fi track, which shows off Heejin's character with clarity. It tells a story of meeting a person to love in a repetitive and colorless routine, and only then finding a vivid color within oneself.
On the other hand, the acoustic mix of "ViViD" changes the original into a groovy guitar-based track, with Heejin's delicate sense of rhythm being a pleasure. The acoustic version's music video was filmed in Paris by VAM Production.
Heejin's first fansign is planned for the first week of release, on October 8, 2016 in Seoul. She will meet fans through a total of four fansigns over the month of October.
Hyunjin
The world of rookie girlgroup Girls of the Month expands with Hyunjin.
A single by Hyunjin, the second member of rookie girlgroup Girls of the Month. A month ago, the rookie girlgroup that took its first step with the reveal of first member Heejin and colorful pop piece "ViViD" now reveals its second member, Hyunjin.
Hyunjin's single contains "Around You", a teenage ballad track by production team MonoTree, and "I'll Be There", a charming candy-funk track by Artronic Waves which also produced Exo's "Tender Love", as dual title tracks.
As evidenced by having produced 24 singles befitting the 12 members even before debut in order to ensure musical quality, Loona are slowly drawing up a musical "big picture".
"Around You" is a teenage ballad track that has not been heard in some time, which paints the emotions of a beautiful crush that an adolescent girl might have upon a piano melody. The video accompanying "Around You", entirely filmed in Tokyo, include an 8-minute film version which is reminiscent of a Japanese romance film as well as a music video version.
Dual-title track "I'll Be There" is the first song that brings Hyunjin and Heejin together, a candy-funk track notable for the fresh charm that pops off from the very first line. This track was also filmed entirely in Harajuku, Tokyo, and presents music and video that suggests an overall direction for Loona, a girlgroup that can already give off a fully packed vibe with just two members.
Loona is receiving attention as a large-scale project that debuts a new girl and a single every month over 1 year and 6 months. Even beyond the volume of having 12 members, songs and music videos that introduce each member's character will be revealed, and other devices to experience background lore that expands with each new member will be prepared.
The first member Heejin has already successfully completed four fansigns with just her debut single, and Hyunjin will also be meeting fans through two individual fansigns and two additional fansigns with both Hyunjin and Heejin as a unit. Haseul
The world of Loona, compiling singles with each new member, expands with Haseul. A single by Haseul, the third member of rookie girlgroup Girls of the Month.
Following Heejin's colorful-vibe pop in "ViViD" and Hyunjin's longing of first love in "Around You", rookie girlgroup Loona has revealed the third member, Haseul.
Haseul was revealed in a short-blond tomboy concept as well as a long-haired girl concept across [teasers at] day and night, immediately capturing the attention of fans who await Loona. Haseul, who has a charm that both boyish and girlish traits coexist in her, has maximized that in music and visuals through her first single, "Let Me In". [Just a note that this makes more sense given the Korean title which is "Boy, Girl".]
Haseul's "Let Me In", by the production team OREO led by Iggy who completed GFriend's school-themed trilogy, is a blockbuster track that starts as a calm winter ballad before strings roar over like a blizzard.
Digipedi and Blockberry Creative filmed in faraway Iceland for the music video, and fulfilled the music's scale through the scenery of Iceland.
"The Carol", which stars Haseul alongside Heejin and Hyunjin, is Loona's first seasonal song. Loona's own Christmas theme, as clear as its title, was produced with MonoTree, and its music video was filmed in London and expresses a giddy feeling like that of an excited girl on Christmas.
Loona is a new-concept girlgroup that grows together with fans who recognized the girls early on with each new member, updating new content every day on social media and RUclips and meeting with fans through individual fansigns.
The girls' journey to complete the girlgroup Loona has now just raised its sail.
Love & Live
1 year and 8 months until full group, 9.9 billion won in total production budget, overseas location filming for all members in Paris, Tokyo, London, Iceland, and Taiwan, off-line promotions covering the streets of Seoul, over-the-air TV advertisements... after drawing attention with each step of the nation's largest-scale idol project, Loona has revealed its 1/3 unit.
The question of "how can we wait 1 year and 8 months" lingered in fans' minds while waiting for the full group of 12, but Loona is revealed to the public in a new worldview called 1/3 before its final form.
Befitting the precisely defined goal of "our goal is not #1 on the charts, but rather to expand the world of Loona onwards", the sharing of lore between fans and Loona expanded, and Loona 1/3 has shown progression on a different level than other girlgroups, being selected as models for Innisfree without even a single broadcast appearance.
Loona 1/3 is not just a unit, but tasked as pioneers who will show off the world of Loona to the general public for the first time. In March 2017, it completed its album Love & Live.
Intro track "Into the New Heart" is a heavy-metal track which may be remembered as the most unique intro in girlgroup history. In particular, Kim Jungmo of Trax, who was among the first generation of Korean visual-kei bands, helped kick off the album vigorously with satisfying guitar drives.
Title track "Love & Live" defines the color of Loona 1/3 and suggests a new standard for Korean girl groups. The track gains in rhythm as in spring that awakens, and presents a pleasant fluttering to the listener. "Love & Live", illustrating a girl who runs in order to meet you, was filmed in New Zealand and Hong Kong. Heejin, Hyunjin, Haseul, and Vivi play the part of a track team and show off individual charms in video, choreography, and music.
Each member approaches fans with unique charms, Heejin as a girl well-rounded in talent, ability, effort and looks, Hyunjin as a girl who's clumsy unlike her delicate features, Haseul as a girl with wisdom and thoughtfulness as the leader of 1/3, and Vivi as a girl adapting to the world of Loona after arriving from an unfamiliar world.
Top staff talent in K-pop came together, including music video production by Digipedi, music production by MonoTree, choreography by director Kim Hwa-young and director Kim Hyun-gyu, photography by artist Koh Ji-young, and creative directing by Jaden Jeong.
Sub-title track "You and Me Together" is a candy-funk track produced by Artronic Waves for the second time since Heejin and Hyunjin's "I'll Be There". It brings good feelings to the listener with a refreshing sound like bursting fruit juices, a signature sound of Loona. And "Fairy Tale" gently flows to the ear with a melody that's like a bedtime fairytale from childhood.
Final track "Valentine Girl" was previously teased to fans in February. It is a happy-tempo track telling the story of gifting chocolate to a boy on Valentine's Day, then hoping to hear confessions of love from that boy on March's White Day.
Loona, rewriting a new history of K-pop girl groups, begins activities in earnest through 1/3. An overflowing repertoire that includes the solo works of Heejin, Hyunjin, Haseul, and Yeojin and tracks that present a new standard of girl groups all come together and make Loona's world ever more durable.
Vivi
Starting with Heejin, then Hyunjin, Haseul, Yeojin, and Loona 1/3's unit activities.
Loona continues to iterate on the expansion of a world through the appearance of new girls each month, as well as addition, combination, and separation among members within that. In April, Loona has revealed the solo single of Vivi.
Vivi was revealed as a member of Loona 1/3, and drew attention with looks refreshing like an apple and by playing an android robot. Expectations for her solo album were also raised as she was first revealed through the unit.
Revealed at last, Vivi's solo title track, "Everyday I Love You", reinterprets the 90s style in a modern way and maximizes Vivi's unique charm. Vivi's style is refreshing without embellishments, like the originality of the 1990s which was the era of classical sweethearts like Kang Suji and Ha Soo-bin, and this can be seen in music and video.
Produced by Digipedi, Loona's music video director, "Everyday I Love You" draws attention with its recreation of the 90s aesthetic.
In addition to nostalgic items like rollerskates, Walkmans, Unplugged Boy, and Coolpix cameras being brought out, Heejin, Hyun, Haseul, and Yeojin all came out as cameos to lend help on Vivi's solo. Additionally, the male lead of the music video (who dances hip-hop when he's sad) [this is a reference to the aforementioned Unplugged Boy, a 1990s Korean romance manga], is notable as the first male trainee being revealed by Blockberry Creative.
The medium-mix version of the title track, "Everyday I Need You", features a yet-unrevealed Loona member named Jinsoul in a groovy rap performance and her first appearance to fans.
The Loona team, which has done location filming globally in Japan, Iceland, UK, Taiwan, New Zealand, and Hong Kong after starting with Heejin's France shoot, completed filming in Busan this time with Vivi. In consideration of Vivi who is a foreigner, the beauty of Busan as a leading Korean city was framed in photographs.
