"Unnecessary use of reptile, 500 year penalty!" LOL. He's a legend. "Outtakes" isn't really the right word. That implies it was a mistake or a deleted scene, but many of the Genie's lines especially the scenes when he meets Aladdin & does all the impressions were either ad-libs based loosely on the script or completely improvised. Disney had no idea at the time they hired him exactly how much of a gem they had in Robin Williams. He gave them *15 hours* of content, which means almost all of it is "outtakes", _and_ he did it all for scale. (Disney repaid him for that by violating the one thing he'd asked for, which was to not use his name or image for marketing.)
"Outtakes" literally just means "takes that were left out". That can be for any number of reasons, not necessarily that they were bad. And these ARE "deleted scenes", so I'm not sure why you'd take issue with that implication.

If Genie did a Hank Hill impression for the scene where he introduces himself to Aladdin, I think it'd go like this: "Ah'm the Genie of the Lamp. Ah sell wishes and wish accessories."
I tell ya hwat.
King of the Hill wouldn’t debut until five years later.
we are all gonna miss you robin (╯︵╰,)
rest in peace
What Can I Say, Robin Williams the American Stand-Up Comedian is in a Better Place with Eartha Kitt the Female American Stand-Up Comedian. Because Eartha Kitt was the Best Voice Actor of Yzma from Disney The Emperor's New Groove the Movie. So Robin and Eartha will Both be Missed. And Thank Those Two for all the Laughs. U_U
Love you Robin Williams “YOU’LL ALWAYS BE A GENIE TO ME”
(0:30)
R.I.P Robin Williams and Fred Rogers
Loved that impression of my childhood idol.
"I would've done mouth-to-mouth, but I don't find you that attractive." OMG 😆
XSimplyCleanProX I SEE YOU EVERYWHEREEEEE
RUclips soulmates
4:55Seriously, No matter how many times I loop it, I can't understand a word he's saying because I just can't stop laughing or trying not to laugh. I really wanna know what he's saying, but I just can't help myself from laughing. But whatever he said, I'm with him 100%.
+JohnSilverfan01 same here all he spoke is gibberish all I got were the, I'MMA think he bonn make it, fangs, big scales
“And you can’t wish for more wishes., because that’s a little redundant. Can you say redundant?”
I was dead after that
Lol
You know, a top quality disney movie is a thing you can put in theaters and make big cash, but a genuine comedian goofing around while a talented artist draws a small handful of drawings to go with it... is something I wish we could see more often, it's a pretty legit product in its own right. If someone could make that into a regular internet show, I think we'd all watch. Get that fat youtube money.
If you listen to “Use whole cheek boy!” You can hear robin williams laughing a bit
Because what he tried to say was “Haul cheek boy!” The ‘use’ was a slip-up
"You seem to have been separated from your group, I'm sorry the evil group has moved on"
I just love and miss that comedian of an actor.
Time for Jafar cheer! Give me a b, give me a b, give me a b, give me a b, b, b, b, b! What's that spell? *raspberry*
Gotta love Robin Williams! You greatly missed Robin. F.R.I.P.
It sucks that he's gone. Even I still can't believe it. WHAT'S THIS WORLD COMING TO?
I'm loving that part of the video
Niana What’s the F mean?
@@RB01.10 the frip is for Forever Rest In Peace.
1:40 THIS. This is what the made Genie the iconic character. Robin Williams knew, he knew that. It wasn't just some funny famous celebrity that made the Genie, it was the warmth of the heart that Robin breathed into that touched the hearts of us all.
I wish disney would release the unused 60 hours of audio as a special, a series, some way to share these out of the vault. Because there is not a single bad line out Robin's mouth. It's all gold.
"luke the force, Al...the force, the farse! TELL 'EM A JOKE!!!!"
I saw the Genie and Al hugging while I was on Twitter. The day Robin died after I heard the news. I broke down and cried for a good while. It broke me. I miss Robin still. I wish things had played out differently for him.
Ok, that forth wall break at the end
Love the Wolfman Jack impression @1:08 long live Wolfman!!
Adam Mosley
5:34 "I think the man got good reach advantage, I think he's gonna have a big, uh, tongue advantage, he got that whippin' tongue that can come at him real quick" Oh my GOD I rolled when I first heard this.
"Turn both cheeks and run!" XD XD XD
"Give me a P! Give me a P! Give me a P! P! P! Give me a P! P! P! P! What's that spell?! XP PPPPPPPPPP!!!" XD LOL
+Mario Hiccup Witwicky
Push him back, push him back, Ja-FARTHER, Ja-FARTHER! Push him back, push him back, Ja-FARTHER, Ja-FARTHER! XD
Best outtake I've seen from Genie! XD
+Magic3Star me too
"So tell me, when your life passed in front of your eyes, did you go, '*tsk* I'm not that interesting.'?"
Oh, this was SO GOOD! 😂 I haven't laughed like this in a while!
R.I.P. Robin. We miss you. 💙
I want ALL of this extra material available. It is glorious.
God, I love that Michael Jackson one XD
TheRetroOreo me too
"Turn the other cheek... Now BOTH CHEEKS! AND RUN!"
I'll never forget u robin Williams
+Michael Profit WE will never forget HIM!
3:18 I'm glad that "Shut Up" joke didn't count as Aladdin's third wish.
6:14
No im not crying......
*sniff*
DAMN IT WHOSE CUTTING ONIONS!??
That part really touched me..... its as if Robbie himself was saying it to us.
Can you imagine the Warner lawyers if they saw Robin Williams doing an Elmer Fudd impression in a Disney movie?
I did like that, "Give me a b,b,b,b,b,b,b,b,b,b! What's that spell?! 👅" A sassy way of saying I don't care what you say.
I would pay to listen to the hours and hours of Robin Williams unused sound clips for Aladdin!
Comedy gold? More like COMEDY DIAMOND!!
Man, I wished they used some of that for the final film, like the Star Wars reference! RIP Robin, we never had a friend like you. He really was great!
The whole world lost a friend when Robin died. I never felt much when a celebrity left the world, but I did when he left. He overflowed with joy, but didn't keep enough for himself.
4:15 Oh, I'd have died and gone to heaven if they'd put THAT in the movie!
It's kinda bitter sweet to watch this movie now, on one hand it's so funny and sweet...and on the other...well, we miss you Genie.
Man that Mr. Rogers bit was great, can't believe they didn't include it.
Can't believe they didn't keep the Nixon bit.
Ya gotta love how he made Jafar roll his eyes! Priceless...
I wish some of these deleted scenes stayed in the film, but not all of them because I think it would have be too much. I wish they kept the Jedi part in and the "push him back" cheerleader scene.
Dude, watching and hearing how Robin Williams makes the sound effects makes me laugh so hard, and then a few seconds, i can't stop crying, it's just, it's incredible the amount of work he has done
i think it would be a fantastic tribute to robin for disney to animate all these outtakes
"Non Violence, Al, turn the other cheek! Matter of fact, turn BOTH cheeks and RUN! USE WHOLE CHEEK, BOY! WHOLE. CHEEK!" steals the show for sure.
4:50 “Look at this incredible performance. Al’s still hanging in there with the snake. What do you think Bill?”
"AnimnnnfixngnahxnfowxjfnkzmvmhmhmvnfmfbfmsmncjsjJckanimninsmamfjsjsjajxbigscale"
Him commentating on the Jafar fight is brilliant
Ugh, who could possibly do a thumbs down on this guy? Someone with no sense of humor or imagination, obviously. Williams was one of the best and I'm still stunned/saddened that he's gone. Aladdin ended up being one of my all-time fav animated movies because of his Genie. What a genius.
“I would’ve done mouth to mouth, but I don’t really find you that attractive!” XD
Love the Nixon impersonation! XD
6:42-6:50 WALL-E: OH NO
Yes we will miss him i loved watching him performed in ms Doubtfire
