For me he is not that tough, nowhere as tough as Rudy, the oval track is preety easy, I beat Paul with a Chevelle SS, any car able to reach 400km/h can beat him quite easy.
There is this little "trick" where, in high speeds (or cars with high speed such as z06, GT, etc), before taking a turn you press very shortly the reverse/brake button and immediately the direction you wanna take. It helps you take a turn perfectly and at a high speed... so instead of lowering your speed, all the time, to take a turn, you just do that and gain a few secs. PD: I havent tried if it works with FWD and AWD. But it works perfectly with RDW.

Why EA let a stage 2 M3 be the leader of Grip Runners when Chen is riding on a 922 hp GT2 is beyond me. Beating Chen is a higher honor than beating Ryo change my mind.
And a badly tunned GTO the Speed King (maybe is just the AI sucking at Speed Challenger), a good tuned GTO is good in Speed Challenger still he should have something like a Murciélago.

In that race You can see the AI can't take the same turn (they always crash with the sector Shootout flag in that track) meanwhile Rudy takes every turn perfectly, why not giving the Kings AI that good?
@@alexisbaz8746 AI are only as good as their cars, the GTO is fast but very difficult to drive quickly so the AI drives them very cautiously aka slow. Cars like the Skyline, 911 Turbo and RX8 meanwhile have great grip and downforce, as a result AI opponents using them tend to be much faster. Combine that with broken physics and glitched upgrades which sometimes make cars slower, something the game does not know when upgrading opponent vehicles.
911 turbo is one the best grip cars. Awesome handling car. The best grip car is pagani zonda, second ford gt and 3rd i think corvette zo6 and 4th 911 turbo. 911 turbo is little slow.
It is fortunate that the Z06 is one of the few vehicles that can compete with Rudy Chen and his 911 Turbo, although I always beat it using my trusty Ford GT
I have a thing for the Corvettes in NFS Games, I always want a loud v8 rwd and front engine, Muscles tend to not bet good in Grip in Pro Street so picking the Z06 made sense to me XD
Ah no they’re more vehicles that can beat Rudy Chen one of two things that can happen your driving skills or the car setup I had no problem beating Rudy Chen with my evo x
The biggest downside with the Z06 is that it scores pretty low points compared to other cars (911 Turbo is simply broken even in this), thus I preferred other cars to beat Rudy (GT like you or NSX, RS4, even a Stage 4 Chevelle)
Unfortunately I never had the 5 missing cars in this Nfs (NSX/Solstice/RS4/Integra and ISF) cause I really wanted to race R. Chen with a NSX ! But I've already beaten R. Chen with my Honda S2000 (Not easily of course because R. Chen is fast as hell but it took me several attempts especially for some races... I was lucky for some races to beat him in 1 attempt) I don't think we can beat him with each car unfortunately... cars like AE86, Civic, Integra or Rsx are really limited to my mind... Muscle cars are really worst I think cause to bad handling in turns... I always thinking RWD were the only cars to possibly beat R. Chen 🤔
I have all of the DLC’s on PC and a really underrated grip monster is the 911 GT3 RS, shit takes tight ass curves well over 200mph with stage 4 parts. It’s insane
@@thisguy4397 lol the Ford GT and Zonda are by far the fastest grip vehicles on vanilla Prostreet, way faster than the Evo X, RX8 and 911 Turbo. Only the completely busted DLC Koenigsegg and McLaren are faster on Grip, but they fortunately never appear as opponents
Yo i actually beat rudy chen with a stage 3 ae86 manual! No anti lock brakes no traction control and no stability control just pure skill. Manual is slower than manual clutch. Then i switched to my other career and switched to manual clutch with stage 3 ae86 but stage 4 drivettain and gapppped his ass. He left me by 4 sec cuz i crashed and the 86 catched up and i beat him by 4 second 😂😂😂 ae86s might be slow, but with perfect tuning and perfect steering these things get 11k - 14k points in events. I wanted to make a video about this but sadly i dont have a capture card for tv 😢
