Hey Game, just wanted to say that it's easier to put the scale on a muted channel so you can see the scale with the ghost notes. And it wont cluster up your piano roll. Love your work and I think you just ot a new customer :)
Love this information, but no matter how much I turn up the bass, I cannot hear what you're playing. All I hear are the chords over and over. I'll try headphones? Was listening in stereo via blu tooth.
do you have any tips on how to make a bass line that will fit with a sample? like how to get it in tune and sounding like it fits...i would greatly appreciate it
+Ty D I just do it by ear, Just play the note on that part of the song, you will hear it either colide with the samples bassline or fit in nicely, After that put the sample into an EQ and cut out the low frequencies so you can only hear the new bassline you made.

for deeper understanding, most singular notes can be described by multiple notes . ex: D# is also Eb (E Flat). both the same exact note, just sometimes used in different context based on the notes being played around it. for sake of simplicity, a sharp will be a different notes flat. (unless its B or E, because a "B#" would just be a C, and a "E#" would be an F, but you most likely wouldn't hear one call them that - though it would not be incorrect).

You made a mistake at the start constructing that scale, as on your chords theres E flat, but on that scale ladder you had plain E. And what comes to music theory, I would say that proper one was to use E flat, because that’s gonna make that scale B flat major scale.

Closest I've gotten is pasting the notes in a MIDI clip, highlighting all, and pressing 0. It's pretty clunky though, but offers a good reference.

P City maybe the kicks are samples and you warped it? There is a few options why
